Welcome to Hyde! Its a beachfront resort located in Hollywood Beach with beautiful views and a relaxation vibe. This beautiful two bedroom/two bathroom condo will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Its fully equipped kitchen will serve any cooking needs if desired. Our spacious balcony which overviews the city and the ocean, will let you enjoy sunrises and sunsets. We hope you enjoy your stay and make your vacation memorable!
The minimum age of guest that is booking the property should be 25 years old. After we accept the reservation please provide immediately the names of ALL the guest that must be Registered on the hotel before the check in. Otherwise we have to cancel the reservation if we don’t have the information 24 hours before the arrival date .
Restaurant / bar on 9th floor by the pool, as well as sushi bar / tapas restaurant overlooking the beach (beach level). Luxurious spa, enéma, in building. Full gym with ocean views. Kitchen stocked with kitchenware for all your cooking needs. In-suite bathrooms have clean towels and robes. The views from this unit are breathtaking!!
Our unit has high speed internet and cable tv in both suites and in the living room.
Garbage disposal of the apartment: at the beginning of the apartment corridor, near the elevator there is a door for the disposal of garbage.
Continuing our efforts to properly secure the building and avoid violation of the rules and regulations. The Association will charge you a penalty for any of the following incidents:

Throwing things off the balcony $750 and the authorities will be called, the association will press charges against all responsible parties.
Exceeding occupancy limit or having parties in the unit $500 and guests will be escorted out of the building.
Pulling a fire alarm station $500.
Damage to doors or hallways $500.
Smoking in the room $250.
No loud noise after 10 PM.
*Enjoy free membership to Hyde Beach Club. Amenities include 3 restaurant, two infinity-edge ocean view pools, sundeck and private cabanas, Fitness Center overlooking ocean, full-service Spa with sauna.
Have to consider a Resort fee for $40 per night plus taxes and valet services for $29.96(card only)

Unit had a beautiful and amazing view and was right on the beach.

Unit was very clean and perfect for our group of 6. The pool resort was amazing and restaurant food was very good. The balcony view was amazing!

Unit was great - location is ok

The unit was beautiful, clean and super comfy beds! The location wasn’t what we were hoping for. You could hear traffic (horns, sirens) from the balcony. It had a city feel. This isn’t a walk from place .. you have to drive toward the “strip”. The beach was GORGEOUS ❤️

Spring Break

The unit rented was perfect! Owner was very responsive to questions. Only issue was with the Hyde property itself. When I checked in the front desk person told they did not take AMEX which they did. Asked for another credit card to use so I gave them one I do not use. The next day my credit card company called me with fraudalant charges on my card. It appears the person that checked us in took a picture or wrote down the numbers of my credit card. I spoke to a manager about what had happened and he was not responsive or concerned at all. He said he was going to look into for me and get back to me and never heard back.

Great Condo and Great Owner

We stayed at this Condo for 6 nights and had a fabulous time. From the intitial conversations, the owner was always very responsive. We arrived an hour early and were expecting to check out luggage, but the front desk told us to check with the owner to see if the unit was ready. The owner got back to us immediately and was able to verify the cleaning staff was completed and we were able to check in early. Bonus! The Condo is very clean and well stocked with almost everything you need. There is a beautiful south facing porch that connects both bedrooms and the family room. The beach in front of the hotel is very nice but a bit crowded while we were there. But there is plenty of sand to walk down and find a nice spot close to the ocean! The only downside to the property was the elevators. They can get very busy especially between 10-12 (check out time) and 3-4pm (check in time). Once we figured that out, we just tried to avoid those times and everything was great. We had a great time and would definitely consider the renting again! Thank you!

Week Day Respite

The property was very nice and perfect for us: a couple and two teens. The beds are comfortable and the unit is quiet. The bathrooms are roomy. The check in is chaotic (they should stagger the start times to reduce congestion) and, frankly, it was hard to keep track of the information spouted by the desk staff. This info could easily be provided on a guest card. Check out is simple. The elevator situation is ridiculous and we weren’t there on a weekend (when I assume it’s busier). You need to give yourself extra time since they can sometimes take up to 10 minutes (staff use the same elevators, which adds to congestion). I’ve never experienced anything like it and everyone else waiting said the same thing. The pools and beach are nice, but you need to get there early (or later afternoon) to count on a chair. (But this is typical of many beach locations.) The hot tub was entirely too small for the amount of people in the building. Drinks poolside are very expensive, but the staff is friendly. The owner is responsive and easy to work with. I’d recommend having a car so you can go to the grocery store to take advantage of the convenience of a kitchen. There also isn’t much to walk to, so having a car aids in finding different restaurants and other sites.

Pros and Cons

Condo - Pros: spacious, great view Cons: weird smell throughout the condo, refrigerator was not clean and smelled, freezer ice bin had brown ice, no wash cloths or hand towels in bathrooms, bath towels had dark red stains on them, stove top was greasy so it was never cleaned, no tissues. Resort: Pros - Loved the pool area and restaurant (this was the best part) The pool girl service was the BEST. They were all so nice and such good service same as the servers in the restaurant. Very pricy food but honestly worth it because its convenient. Security was a great addition to the stay. Cons- HORRIBLE CHECK IN experience (should've listened to the other reviews about this resort) Greeted rude by front desk. ELEVATOR situation is HORRIBLE - be prepared to wait for a while to get on or off one. Not once did I see any daily cleaning or disinfecting throughout the resort - there is lot of traffic so should be doing consistent cleaning. There is absolutely nothing to do around the property. Need to take an Uber to go to any dining or shopping, Beach is very dirty (recommend taking an Uber to the beach by Margaritaville) Overall - For the money we spent on the condo we will not be returning. Just did not meet our cleaning standards and not much to do around property. There was good communication with owners when I had a questions but hope they take into consideration of addressing these issues. View was beautiful!

Pleasant vacation

We loved our stay at the Hyde resort, right at the beach and our apartment was well located in the building. The kitchen was well equipped, but missing oven dishes and mitts. We had easy access to shopping and public transportation. We are looking forward to come back to Hollywood and stay at condo# 2903 again.

VRBO clients are treated like low class citisens

Line was different then owner check in 35 min check in no bell man offered drug my lugage up stairs with no cart to find my key didnt work! I called the front desk they would not send a key directed me to drag sll my stuff back down 14 floors? By the way any elevator experiencec was 4-10 min wait elevators needed programing stopping on multiple floors every use for no one to get on or off. Managment very good at verbally appologizing and actually never addressing anything. Owner doesnt seem to care about any guest or helping with any defaults. That is a real shame because there unit is beautiful Although the pictures look like King the master is actually a queen? Delivery confirmed from Amazon and Grizzliy over $900.00 in product at the front desk ? I checked 3 times a day for 3 days and never recieved deliveries. I called owner and managment and again no one cared? I ultimately filed a police report and I’m waiting to hear back.. The coffee shop charge $19 for two coffees they didn’t have lids and overfilled the cup with scalding hot coffee we ask for a cup of ice so we can make our walk to Starbucks and they didn’t offer ice or cups approach management and they told us the coffee shop was a subcontractor they couldn’t help. Security guards are there for guest to be treated well most of the guards were great except for the guards at the elevator you could come down grab coffee weather never lost sight of you and they would want you to show the Chi even though you never left their site so put your hot coffee down pull out your key and your ID to go back to the room you left five minute ago. Disposition at the elevators had three different guards with no personality no memory and very aggressive attitudes are reported to the main guard station they promised me a call from the manager which never happened.. The restaurant was a real treat great food great service. The pool deck was a real treat great service and great bartenders at the bar.
