En historisk sandstenbyggnad är platsen för denna 800 kvm. Radhus. En egen ingång leder dig upp en 14 'stigning på nya ek trappor. Först kommer du in i det rymliga vardagsrummet, komplett med soffa, kärlekssits, överfylld stol och 32 "platt-TV. De storslagna, välvda fönstren längs framsidan ger ljus och utrymme för detta område och ger glimtar av både Battle Mt ovanför och gatan och människorna under.

I den andra änden av det öppna designvardagsområdet ligger det moderna köket i lönn och rostfritt stål. Fullt utrustat med köksredskap och unikt stengods kommer denna installation att få dig att känna dig som en riktig underhållare. Underbara skifferplattor är under foten och omger den en-av-en-sorten kakel- och stålön. 4 avföring för att ge dig en mycket unik plats att ta en drink, frukost eller prata med bartendern / kocken.

Även i detta område är matsal / spelbord. Sittplats 4 ger det en plats för sittande middagar, spelkväll eller planering av din nästa utflykt.

De två sovrummen ligger inte intill varandra för extra integritet. Extra kuddar bidrar till din komfort.

Det främre badrummet är vårt "Spa Room". Rundade funktioner och en kaskad av havsfärger uppmuntrar dig att känna dig fräsch och energisk.

Vårt andra badrum är vår "Old World Retreat". Belagt med kakel och glas, detta rum inbjuder dig att koppla av och stanna ett tag. Det konturerade badkaret är utmärkt för blötläggning och glasduschdörrarna säger "elegans".

Bakre ingången leder ut till ett däck som har ett bord, paraply, 4 stolar och en gasgrill. Däck är extremt lugnt på morgonen och kvällen, lite varmt på dagens hetta. Vyer över byggnader är förvånansvärt blandade med utsikt över träd och 7 syster Range. Den gated gården nedan är en praktisk plats att låsa upp motorcyklar, cyklar eller tillbehör.

Hela radhuset är en "stor flykt". Atmosfären är avslappnad, modern, bortskämd, men inte för dyr. Konst och dekor har förvärvats noggrant och placerats för att ge gästen en balanseffekt av kontrasterande strukturer och känslor.

Platsen är 1 kvarter från en fin gång- / cykelväg som följer Fall River genom staden. Matvaror, restauranger och olika butiker ligger inom gångavstånd. Radhuset ligger en kort bilresa från Mammoth Site och bara några kvarter från VA.

Great Condo & Hosts

This was our first experience at a Vrbo. Super hosts and very accommodating! Our condo had everything we needed while away from home. The location was close to shops and restaurants in town. Wendee was super helpful during our stay! Thanks for everything! We will be back!

Great location

This apartment was in a great location to get to all the activities we wanted to do. Plenty of space to spend out. Just a reminder that there are lots of stairs so if that’s an issue then this is not the place for you.

Beautiful Condo

I was here with 2 other family members and we all agreed that this condo was great! It was very clean, the decor was beautifully done and the living room windows are gorgeous! The kitchen was very up to date, the beds were comfortable and the location was great! It was so close to the Fall River, which runs right thru Hot Springs. We walked along the river daily. We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! Also, Wendee responded to any questions immediately. All good!

Mount Rushmore & Crazy Horse Adventure

Condo was as advertised, we had no problem with stairs, but could see people with knee issues would. We used rear entrance with easier stairs due to street construction. Lynn’s Dakotamart was very well stocked for groceries, Being from south Louisiana we cooked all of our meals at the condo. Wendee, the owner was very easy to contact & very attentive to our needs. Will definitely suggest this condo to others!! Thanks Wendee & Reese

Great space

This apartment was fantastic, it is located in a small quiet town away from all of the the rush. Clean and quiet with great hosts that were very informative. Highly recommend this for a small family or couples. One week is not enough to enjoy everything that this area has to offer and this apartment would be the perfect place to stay as long as you needed!!!

Great spot!

This was a great property - historical building, great views, and centrally located in town. The apartment was better than the photos, and VERY spacious. The only thing that could *maybe* be improved (and it’s more my preference) would be a mattress topper for added softness to the mattresses. Again, just my preference more than anything. Other than that, this was one of our best VRBO stays in years.

Nice comfortable stay in Hot Springs

Check-in was easy and the host provided detailed helpful instructions ahead of time. Location is convenient to the main parts of town, much is within easy walking distance. Enjoyed the open living space and full kitchen. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. The stairs from the street are rather steep.

Perfect central location in Black Hills

We stayed three nights and wish we would have stayed a few more. Great space to relax, use as a home base for our day trips, and excellent communication with the hosts We will definitely stay again and highly recommend it.

Comfortable Landing Place

The condo was OUTSTANDING. Wendee was a great host and helped us with a few suggestions for local dining. While we out most of each day on hikes and drives we always appreciated coming back to a relaxing place to have a drink in the evening.

Relaxing and fun stay

Wendee and Reece have done a great job making this property feel like a home away from home. They were very helpful with details about local things to do including an awesome location to do a little rock hunting at a remote agate bed. We had an awesome trip and would not have been as good without their assistance and their beautiful property. If ever in the area again, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Spacious condo with great amenities

Thankfully the Hot Springs condo was just as advertised. We used the kitchen every day after a week of traveling, used the washer & dryer to do laundry after numerous hikes, relaxed in the spacious living room, and could walk to several new restaurants and ice cream shops. This is the place to stay in Hot Springs, especially during Covid.

Labor Day Weekend In Comfort

Aside from the stairway access, this property looks and feels just as comfortable as the photo suggests. The craftsmanship and materials are top-notch in fit and finish. The oak is quite genuine and heavy. the amenities were fully adequate and of high quality (except for the worn-out frying pan) and my wife and I were so very happy to be encamped in an environment so very superior to the local hotels, for not much more money. All smiles here !

Hidden gem in Hot Springs

This condo was spacious enough for our family to really relax during our downtime. The oversized windows provide a great view of the historical buildings across the street. Only an hour from Rapid City and the Grand Canyon. Very close to Wind Cave National Park, where you can see some amazing wildlife. Highly recommend!

Quiet town, close to everything.

The property is situated in the middle of everything. My wife and I went to everything we could and the furthest we drove was 2.5 hours away to Devils Tower. You’re an hour from Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse monuments. Everything was clean when we arrived, we had excellent communication with the property owner. There are restaurants and grocery stores in walking distance from you.

Great stay off the beaten path

We had a great stay in the quaint town of Hot Springs. The suite was as described and quite spacious for 3-4 adults. Wendee was very responsive to all our needs. Highly recommend this property.

Hi There-We're your hosts, Reese and Wendee Pettis and we'd love to show you all the things to love in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Here's our love story: Originally from CA, Reese was raised in SD with a love for wildlife, nature and art. He graduated from the Phoenix Institute of Technology (Arts Degree) and returned to the Hills in 86. Soon after, he met SD farm-raised cosmetologist Wendee, who also loved wildlife, nature and anything creative. In addition, she loved to travel, having made trips to several countries with more on her list. The two indulged in their passions-ones learned separately and then together; painting, exploring, caving, diving, dirt-biking, attending the theatre, pets, wildlife, and building things with their own hands. On top of this, the love of travel grew for both of them. Trips to France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Belize and points around the USA have provided many adventures. Favorite escape? Home away from home-their beloved Mexico with the beautiful Mayan people and the fabulous ocean full of life. Settling in Hot Springs in 1993, they built an original log home from trees and boulders (leading to Reese's business of log cabins and log accents), started a salon business, kept up the adventures and continued to spend alot of time together. Today, we are busy and remind ourselves to take time for recreation. The townhouse project has been a labor of love and patience. Planning it together, Reese did the work-the teardown, the engineering, building it back up from the studs and joists and project by project, saw his work come together in a lovely building. Communicating throughout, we decided on the 'atmosphere' and stuck to it. The end result has been satisfying for us and will no doubt give us plenty of ideas for the future.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We bought this property in 2001 initially to use the bottom floor. The sandstone gives the building alot of history and character and we remodeled the first floor into a retail/salon space. We have put alot of heart and thought into what to do with the top floor. The townhouse was a perfect fit. We can use it when we want, and others can enjoy our effort too! We plan to stay here for many, many years and the proximity to the woods, parks, caves and animals make it perfect for us!

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

The urban feel takes you away from the day-to-day feel of the street. There is easy access to the town, yet privacy 'up above' our uptown street. Wendee: My favorite is the spa-like atmosphere of the bathrooms. In the 'old-world', I feel like I'm back in Rome, surrounded by tile and earthy tones. Soaking in the contoured tub is a 'take-me-away' experience. In contrast, our 'round' bathroom makes me smile, knowing how we tried to maximize our space and give this a breezy, wavy feel. It makes me feel fresh, and reminds me of the ocean. We both really like our front window area. The big arched windows are fun for people-watching and bring in so much light and space. The kitchen island ends up being everyone's favorite hang-out. We're usually behind it, entertaining and enjoying the kitchen while our friends watch and converse. You can see the dining area and the living area behind it, so it makes a great 'command post'. The deck is a very quiet place even though it is above building and an alley. We retreated here when our log home in the woods was threatened by a forest fire. Up in the air, we were able to relax and let the breeze calm us and the occasional bat fly-by was a bonus.
