Welcome to our cozy and quiet 1 bedrom + sleeping loft, 1.5 bath cabin. 'Shaconage Cabin' has everything you need for your perfect relaxing getaway. Shaconage (pronounced Sha-Kon-O-Hey) meaning "Land of Blue Smoke" is the Cherokee word for the Great Smoky Mountains. This home includes a king master loft, queen in the bedroom and queen sleeper sofa. Wake up and take in the sights right from your bed and relax in the hot tub after a day exploring all that Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg has to offer.

Great Cabin

Great cabin. Easy check in and out. Only complaint was the hot tub jets did not seem to have a strong output. Otherwise great little place to stay.

Relaxing and enjoyable

Very nice property with a fantastic view of the mountains. It’s very pleasant to just sit on the porch/deck and read. Too hot to use the hot tub, but we appreciated the spacious kitchen and the TV.

Had a wonderful time. The back porch is a great place to relax.

All was good, I did feel the cleaning in the kitchen and dining table could have been cleaned a little better. I swept the floor when we arrived, cleaned the front of the stove and dishwasher, wiped kitchen table down. But all in all a great place. Thank you for sharing your home..

Definitely a great escape!

My wife, children, and I have never been to Pigeon Forge before and looking for the perfect cabin was a top priority. Thankfully we found this beautiful cabin and it exceeded our expectations. Amazing views right when you wake up and look out the window from the loft, the front porch has a hot tub that you also get amazing views from. After a long day of exploring the area it was definitely a refreshing setting to recharge your battery. I would stay again; no questions asked.

Perfect Location!

The location for this cabin was perfect! Easy access to GSM National Park and abundant hiking without having to traverse Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg unless we choose to. But location also provided easy access to both when we wanted to run into town. Our stay was easy, relaxed and very enjoyable. The host was very responsive when we had questions and accommodating when we had special requests. Highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful View

The view was Beautiful and the property was as described. It was convenient all the attractions but far enough away to feel relaxed and away from home. I highly recommend breakfast on the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

Bears Bears and more Bears

We stayed for a week in this great Cabin in the mountains. Had everything we needed and was close to all the action. Didn’t see any bear at the cabin but saw plenty in the Park. Highly recommend this place. The cabin was clean and sanitized but there was a ton of pollen on the porch….welcome to spring!!

Excellent stay

The cabin was very clean with plenty of space for the whole family. We enjoyed the secluded neighborhood, yet we were just minutes away from the parkway with all the attractions and restaurants. The porch has a beautiful view that can be enjoyed from the sitting area or hot tub. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was stocked with all the basics to cook meals for the family. The host was very friendly and helpful and was quick with responses. This cabin felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay - private location

We had an excellent stay at the cabin. We’d highly recommend staying here due to the proximity to Pigeon Forge while also being private and remote enough to not have other cabins within an arms length distance, which is common in the area. The only caution is the driveway is very steep, however, there is a flat area to part at the top to park. We enjoyed the amenities that came with the cabin including the hot tub and foosball table. The views from the loft and front porches were remarkable and absolutely breathtaking. Our stay was unfortunately cut short by the wildfires experienced in the area and a mandatory evacuation of the immediate area surrounding the cabin. During this time, we couldn’t be more thankful of the excellent communication we received from the host. She immediately sent us messages, phone calls, offered advice for alternative accommodations, was quick to offer a refund, etc. This was a stressful time for all and we couldn’t have asked for a better host. We hope we are able to come back to the property for another vacation in the future.

Vacation 2021

Great cabin to stay in! We had a problem with the air conditioning from the forest fires that had happened a few days before. The property owner responded almost immediately. She had someone out the next morning and it was fixed. I recommend staying here.

Great family experience!

We were here all week for a wedding, couldn't be happier with the cabin. Very cozy, great views, very close to everything you need in town. The host was very responsive and provided plenty of advice for the area. No complaints at all, looking forward to a return visit.
