Convenient location for walking
There is a convenience store 5 houses down, an ice cream shop, a coffee shop, a cafe, a Irish pub all literally 5 houses down. Very easy walk. The beach is technically 5 houses down then you cross the street which is like an A1A. The beach access has a walkway on Delmar Road. Bring a canopy or umbrella. The unit has plenty of chairs like 6 foldable chairs. Also, the unit has plenty of rafts. The unit itself had an updated bathroom. Only thing is there was not a bathroom fan so with 8 of us in there using one bathroom it gets very humid so you have to crack that window in the shower. It would be very helpful if the bedroom doors had towel hooks so with all these people showering the towels would be separated easily. Some of the furniture is not kid friendly. Meaning the coffee table and kitchen table are glass countertops. A round wooden coffee table would give kids freedom to use it without putting their weight on it and possibly smashing the glass. The kitchen bar stools were very high that would sink occasionally as you got into them. Adults would have no issue. Kitchen is open to the living room so we didn’t bump into each other with having family style meals. Just half of us had to sit on the couch.The kitchen came stocked with bags, coffee, and other essentials. The bedroom next to the kitchen would get very humid even with the ceiling fan so keeping the French doors open was a must. I would recommend black out curtains to reduce the sunlight and therefore would make the electricity bill lower as well. The air conditioning was very strong and consistent. We were very comfortable even at 74 degrees. That was needed since it was in the upper 90s outside. The refrigerator worked as usual except the ice machine in the freezer was broken so we bought ice. We even walked to some other restaurants nearby during our week stay like salty crab. It is a little more of a walk so next time drive since it is close to a mile walk. There is a Bonita fish and doc fords restaurant within a 5 to 10 minute drive that is a must to go to. The deck at the unit was in perfect shape. We had a sun deck off the top unit. The pool at the unit was clean and warm. Salt water filtered so very easy on the skin. A very tranquil backyard with palm trees and plenty of furniture. The laundry room is underneath the deck with two brand new may tag washers and dryers. Parking spaces can be identified easier if painted lines but there is easy 4 in front.
