This one room studio (included a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave) was lovely for myself on business travel. The location was quiet, safe and beautiful. The touches in the room and bathroom were high end, modern and clean. The only drawback is that it's a short walk from parking, but for those who love to walk, its right next to the Starr Pass hiking trail.

Loved how serene, privacy of this property. Owner provided excellent communication and we enjoyed the on site pool. Didn't get the chance to use the JW Marriott pool resort ... perhaps on our next visit. If you're looking for a calm, chill and convenient studio, we highly recommend.

We came to Tucson for a quick winter weekend getaway - ran the Saguaro NP half marathon then had an extra day and a half to play. Got 27 holes of golf in, enjoyed the hot tub and pool, hiked, and did some scenic drives. Ate twice at the restaurant onsite but enjoyed that it was within 15-20 min of a lot of restaurant options - while the property itself was not actually in the city. Shower was nice, bed was comfortable, it was a good place to return to for a jam-packed weekend. Definitely would stay here again.

Beautiful property

Starr Pass Base Camp is a beautiful property; the unit is very clean with luxurious amenities. Fluffy comforters, thick towels, large shower with good water pressure, nice shampoo, lotion, soap, even a powerful flashlight for night walking. The pictures are accurate. Communication was good with the host, he gave good directions and accessing the unit was easy. The ppty itself is very pretty, pool great and lots of places to sit and relax; the patio at the bar was so nice in the afternoon. Our only disappointments were that there was no information accessing the amenities at the resort, ie the shuttle service, how to access the pools, the restaurants (hours etc) and same with the onsite bar, and that with the window open, it was a bit noisy as the unit is by the road plus the golf course maintenance crew is out mowing by 6:30 a.m. We are early risers, so it didn't bother us, but it might others.
