The Space:

Water Moose boasts vaulted ceilings, multiple fireplaces (including a huge wood burning fireplace in the living room perfect after a long day of skiing), floor length curtains, large washer and dryer, plenty of storage space, a great gear/ski room, in-floor radiant heat, air conditioning, and high-end kitchen appliances. Don`t forget to melt your stress away with a starlit soak in the private hot tub on the back deck. This home is also perfect for grilling out on the multiple decks and getting some summer months. The main level includes a huge kitchen, living room, and master bedroom with a full bathroom. The lower level includes the laundry room, locker room, and a bunkroom with two queen beds and a full bathroom. The three story has two queen rooms with great views, a desk, printer, and monitor to work/school remotely, a lounge/TV area, and the Peloton/workout area.

In the summer, this location is perfect for mountain biking, fly fishing, golfing, rafting, climbing, trail running, horseback riding, pursuing the activities offered by Big Sky Resort’s Base Camp (i.e. ziplining, gondola tours up Lone Peak, climbing walls, etc.), visiting nearby Yellowstone National Park, and much more. During the winter months there are 85 kilometers of maintained cross country ski trails just a mile from the front door. With its extensive and truly amazing trails Lone Mountain Ranch has become the mecca for Nordic skiers in North America. We highly recommend that our guests rent a 4x4 vehicle during the winter months (October-May). Please be aware that shuttle services must be booked in advance, and rideshare options like Uber or Lyft are unavailable in the area.
