Welcome to Playa del Carmen! This new apartment five minutes from the beach is what you are looking for to spend a few days relaxing. Surrounded by nature, at The Eights Condo you will have unique views from one of the most exclusive complexes in the area. In addition to enjoying all our amenities, you will be 200 meters from the MVNGATA beach club where you can live unforgettable experiences. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy the Riviera Maya like you've never done before!

The Space:
The apartment has a bedroom with a double bed, Smart TV and air conditioning, granite kitchen equipped with electric stove, two full bathrooms, two terraces to enjoy the sunset or your morning coffee and a living room with Smart TV and sofa bed for two additional guests ($250 MXN per night per guest).

We have a swimming lane, heated jacuzzi, small gym and rooftop, where you can have a BBQ and spend a pleasant time with family or friends. If you want to explore Playa del Carmen during your visit, you will have Fifth Avenue just 20 minutes away by car with restaurants, bars and shops to add to this incredible experience.

MVNGATA Beach Club & Rooftop is a brand new beach club designed so that you can enjoy your vacations without any worry. Try its gastronomy, relax on the lounge chairs, immerse yourself in the pool or in the sea and enjoy live events on the rooftop with your favorite drink and the best view of the Riviera Maya.

Walking from your accommodation you will arrive at Cocos Cabañas, which in addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner offers delicious baked pizzas that you cannot miss. Another option for breakfast and lunch is the Petit Lafitte Hotel you will surely be delighted. The Xcalacoco Beach is just 5 minutes away by car.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full access to all The Eights Condo amenities, plus everything MVNGATA Beach Club & Rooftop offers, at an additional cost.

The Neighborhood:
The area is very quiet and we have 24/7 security for your comfort. The nearest supermarket is 20 minutes from the property. If you need basic items 3 minutes away there is a convenience store.

Getting Around:
We recommend arriving and moving around Playa del Carmen by car. For security reasons, inside the property you will have a private parking space reserved for you.

There are Beach Clubs that you could join, one of them being MVGATA. You can enter, but you'll need to cover the day-pass fee. Another option, if you prefer walking, is to inquire at Hotel Petite Laffite (located next to MVNGATA), where day passes are also available.

Other Things to Note:
We can provide additional cleaning service during your stay for $500.00 MXN per day.

Playa del Carmen has a humid climate, to avoid humidity in the property we have a dehumidifier.

Out of respect for the neighbors, the noise level should be reduced between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. Parties are not allowed.

The property is very valuable to us and we always strive to keep it in excellent condition so that our guests have unforgettable experiences. This of course involves a lot of physical and financial effort. We kindly ask you to respect it as if it were your home, so that our next guests can enjoy it as much as you do.
-An additional cleaning fee will be charged for long stay reservations (+8 days) for every additional week

Condo ok, but location wrong

Hi, here is my review of the stay: Pros: The Condo is modern and clean The kitchen works well, everything is there The rooftop with the pool is super, also the pool on the ground level is nice Parking is ok A water problem on Saturday Feb. 10th was quickly solved After arrival communication with Hostpal was ok Cons: The Condo is nowhere what the description says It’s far out from Playa del Carmen, You need a car or taxi to get to Playa del Carmen The beach is not accessible, also not through the MVNGATA resort or Petite Laffite resort Even if we said we would have a drink at the beach bar, we were rejected When we booked the condo, there were some pictures from the MVNGATA included, assuming the resort and the condo are related These pictures now disappeared, but there is still a picture with pictograms including a beach club The next public beach access is at least a 30 minute walk away Even after paying we were not told the exact location, otherwise we could have checked There are bicycles in the basement, but they are either locked or junk (flat tires) Conclusion: Without a car this accommodation is not doable The description of the location is completely wrong As we had a rental car we stayed until the end although we were not satisfied at all Telling the exact location only hours before arrival even after paying is a No Go

Décevant

Décevant est le mot le plus approprié décrire ce séjour. En effet bien que la propreté et la fonctionnalité de l’appartement soit présents nous avons rencontrés divers problèmes. Premièrement, lors de la réservation un lieu était indiqué et placé dans le centre ville. La réalité est tout à autre, le jour de notre arrivé on nous a communiquer une seconde adresse placé à 15minutes en voiture du centre et 2 heures à pieds. Autrement dit, si nous ne sommes pas vehicule nous sommes perdu dans un endroit peu fréquenté (rien autour, pas de supérettes, etc) Ensuite une plage est en effet indiqué à quelques mètres, à savoir son accès est uniquement autorisé pour les membres de l’hôtel à côté ! Il faudra alors marcher plus de 30minutes pour un accès à la plage la plus proche. Scooter et voiture était pratiquement tous loués ou hors de prix nous avons dû nous déplacer en taxi et limités nos sorties s’élevant tout de même déjà à plus de 80 euros ( la période estivale est présente et les taxis sont extrêmement chers !! Environs 12 euros par trajet) La faute reviendrait apparement à Abritel ayant mal répertorié l’adresse, c’est pourquoi nous sommes aujourd’hui toujours en litige pour obtenir dédommagement. Pour conclure le logement est agréable, calme, il faut juste s’y préparer et avoir de quoi se déplacer pour passer un bon séjour.

Very Unpleasant Stay

My stay here was extremely unpleasant. The location is nowhere near anything as described. I kept asking the host for the address so I could check to see how close things were and he/she kept saying they’ll send it to me shortly. I didn’t receive the address until 30 minutes prior to my flight landing. The location requires you to take a cab everywhere and there’s zero scenic views. The building is facing a very old building and behind it, it’s just trees so at night it is quite dark with no street lights. I had booked the space for 5 nights and 4 nights but only stayed for 2 days and we booked somewhere else. We did not feel safe and the host didn’t seem to care. He was supposed to come by the property but then he never showed up. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, they’ll be disappointed as there’s just nothing within walking distance and the scene is depressing to say the least. The apartment is nice but the location is simply not where anyone would want to stay.
