Relax and enjoy in our cheerful home, located in the heart of one of Vancouver's best neighbourhoods.

Only a 10 minute drive to Vancouver Downtown, 15 minutes from the airport, 10 min walk to the skytrain, within walking distance of VanDusen Gardens and Queen Elizabeth Park. There is even a community center and shopping center all within a 15 minutes.
The space
We are pleased to welcome you to our spacious home.

We pride ourselves on offering a clean, spacious space with all the comforts of a home.

There are 3 large bedrooms (1 king 2 twins 1 single ) and 2 full bathrooms.

Enjoy the natural light-filled home or relax in the spacious backyard, cook in the fully supplied kitchen and fall asleep in the comfortable beds.

This is a trendy and fun neighborhood that has great walkability. There are playgrounds, parks, and coffee shops nearby. Wonderful small clothing stores that carry clothes of local designers and restaurants from various world cuisines from gourmet vegetarian to deluxe hamburger joints.

Close to Hillcrest Aquatic Centre one of the newest pools in Vancouver, in the same complex, there is an ice rink and fitness center. Queen Elizabeth Park with its marvelous gardens is within walking distance as well.

Great public transit is a short 2-block walk away.

This property lacked any kind of nice touches, basically it had the bare minimum. Here are some of these examples: bedside table had no lamp, no nearby plug. Mold was present in the shower, on the ceiling and tiles. Large dust "bunnies" behind and under the bed. Outdoor dining area table and chairs quite dirty. A bad odour coming from the dishwasher, had to run it before even using it. The host would not give any check-in information until it was less than 24 hours before check-in, after several requests.

Switch

The listing showed an address and front of another house. All interior photos were of the house we stayed at. The switch was made the day of check in, the two properties were next door to each other. Seemed like a bait and switch. I stayed there because we just needed the place for one night before flying out.

great stay i

The worked very well for our family; me, my husband and our 2 adult children. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. The living room was a comfy place for conversation. The kitchen was well equipped and the dining area was a nice place to share meals. I chose the location because it was central to our driving needs; downtown, the airport and Burnaby. The sky train is a short walk away for access to the airport and downtown as well.

Listing is Misleading

WARNING - the home does NOT have air conditioning. We were unable to stay there because the temperature inside the home was 85 degrees F. The owner has refused to issue a refund. Also, the pictures are not a good representation of the home. The interior had a very musty smell. The home next door and also one across the street were abandoned and had plywood covering the windows and overgrown lawns.

Great Location and Excellent Communication

Location was ideal! Beds were comfortable, place was clean and living room sofas were perfect for hanging out. We cooked out in the backyard and enjoyed the huge park across the main road. Would stay again! Communication from host was quick and friendly!

Great Location

We stayed as a family at this house for 4 nights. The location was absolutely perfect for what we required. It was nice to have a house vs a hotel, so that we could all stay together and prepare our own meals if we wanted to. There is one large master suite on the main floor and two bedrooms in the basement. There was plenty of room for the 5 of us that stayed there. The house itself appears to be used as a short term rental place all the time. It had the necessities that are required during a vacation, but the house itself could use a little TLC. I supplied a list of concerns to the owner when we arrived and to his credit he offered to fix them while we were there. I told him that it is fine and he can fix them after we had left, but I wanted to ensure that he was aware it was not our party that created these concerns. Other than the house requiring some TLC and some repairs, it worked well for our stay.

Stay prior to cruise

Grandpa & Grandma plus immediate family stayed- 7 of us! All worked well…had everything we needed. Close enough to grocery store and in route to ship terminal.

House near Cambie and Queen Elizabeth Park

The property was perfect for our purpose: family gathering to attend a Celebration of Life scheduled for the next day. The weather was good so our group enjoyed the patio, back yard, dining room and other amenities. The neighbourhood was quiet and the location central.

Lovely house in quiet location

We loved our stay in Vancouver. We had a rental car but also used public transport from the nearby metro station. Check in was easy and the house was a great size for our group of three adults and two kids.

We had a great stay in the “blue” house.

The area was central to Vancouver. We spent every night on the quiet deck in the private backyard. House was very clean and tidy, but in need of more kitchen linens. Beds were very comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay.

Great location

We didn’t really spend a lot of time on the property since we explored the downtown Vancouver area most of the time during our stay. If you’re looking for an affordable property that’s accessible to downtown then this is a good one to stay at.
