The accommodation was really clean and very cutely decorated. Communication was good, with clear location instructions given before we arrived. We liked the country location and it fitted all our needs. Thanks

Enjoyed our stay

Property is as listed was nice, in need of some tlc. Owner was quick to respond to all questions. If your like us a prefer not to stay at a hotel this is a good response.

Very great beautiful property and beautiful surroundings, owner was very responsive and understanding, as we were a little late to check out. 5 stars I'd stay again. And im sure we will.

Bad or terrible smell

I ended up not staying after arriving !!!The listing is very deceiving, i went in and the air conditioner was on and all windows open, it had a terrible smell and i was not going to try to sleep in there. it did look clean i will admit but the so called pond is a mosquito trap and the whole place could use some tlc. im not sure what the smell was but may have been pet urine. i tried calling the phone number given and got no responce. i waited a little bit then decided to move on to find a place to stay. i told the man we could fix the problem and he wouldnt consider it through messages he told me i was a boomer and got pretty rude and told me to kick rocks. im not sure weather i should not use vrbo or just chock it up as a bad experience with one of there bad renters. very sad though im not one to complain much but i dont live like that and not going to stay somewhere like that. He said it was just the smell of a cabin. ive stayed alot of places in my travels and never smelled something like that. Think twice before renting off of this man. vrbo need to make him put pictures of what he considers a nice place to stay also has green moss all over the old rotted deck i do have pictures if vrbo need them to see what they are renting.

If you want a nice break from the craziness of everyday life this is a nice place to relax. This Cute little cottage has Everything you need to kick back and Relax. New River Gorge park is about 30 min away. Owner very responsive and helpful. Thank you.

Glamping

It was as advertised: very simple, quiet cabin. As other reviews mentioned, it could use some tlc in maintenance (broken tiles, sink detached from wall). I only took away a star for “as advertised”because of the sleeping arrangements for 4: 2 on the futon was tight, even for children.

Perfect Getaway

This was the perfect place for a low key anniversary weekend. The owner was super friendly via text/email and left us alone during the trip so we could enjoy ourselves. But they were always just a text away. The place is adorable and there was the friendliest dog that became our porch dog for the weekend. It was really perfect. We tried some local spots and I went to my very first Speakeasy while there. It marked something off my bucket list. All in all, I would 100% stay here again.
