Luxurious apartment with spectacular views

We had such a wonderful stay at this spacious penthouse! It is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and very comfortable. The main attraction is the large balcony with the mesmerizing ocean view and luxurious plunge pool. Downstairs, the pool area is large and beautiful, the beach is quiet with soft sand, and the staff is kind and friendly. Jorge is a wonderful host. Definitely treat yourselves to this place!

Even More Beautiful than the Photos

We loved our stay in this beautiful penthouse condo on a quiet section of the nicest beach I've ever visited. The nice owner, Jorge, met us and showed us around and was available by text for any small things that came up.Our jaws dropped when we walked in and saw how beautifully it was decorated and the amazing view! The terrace doors open all the way up so it's very sunny and airy and it is more spacious than I realized. The master bedroom has a nice sitting area and small back terrace that looks over the marina and golf course, and the master bath is very large, with a double shower.We very much enjoyed the infinity plunge pool on the terrace, which is good-sized and deep enough to really cool off, with water to your shoulders in the deeper part.The complex is very nice, with a great pool area and beach chairs and palapas. We were there during Easter week, so presumably this was about as crowded as it gets, and we were able to get beach chairs every day. There is a nice snack bar by the pools, which was great for lunches. We also had an early dinner there one night.Massages on the beach are 20/hr!We have been to Ixtapa many times, but have always stayed at an all-inclusive hotel. We weren't sure how much of a bother it would be to get our own meals, but for us the beauty, comfort and location of the condo far outweighed the issue of cooking or finding restaurants. Groceries are inexpensive and trying local restaurants was fun.Wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

Love BVG Marina & Ixtapa

I have been staying a BVG Marina for over 10 years. This was the first time staying in this unit and it did not disappoint. The balcony was amazing - views, table, lounge chairs and a pool deep enough to cool off and accommodate up to 4 adults comfortably. This is nice when the main pool area downstairs is full; you have your own oasis. Jorge was quick to communicate and attentive to our needs. You are on the 18th floor...so check off a item on the bucket list and take the stairs at least once! Ixtapa never disappoints and I love the facility and staff at BVG Marina. They remember me from year to year - I have met many good people and made some friends.

A piece of paradise

The views are heavenly. Beautiful decor and an amazing lanai! Would have given this 5 stars but the cleanliness of the kitchen and smell emitting from second bathroom brought it to 4. The property sorely lacks in enough chairs at pool/beach requiring very early morning save routines-this is discouraged but what else can you do?

Awesome place to destress

The location is close to all amenities, food, liquor store, and restaurants. No need for a car or taxi if you are able to walk. Beach front, marina and golf course views, amazing. Cleaning service upon request, excellent. Ease of contact with owner. The comfort of the condo was awesome. Bed and living room, outdoor furniture. Best feature was the private pool and without having to be in a public pool during the pandemic. Enjoyed a walk on the beach in the morning, afternoons in private pool until sunset and a walk to the Ixtapa Central for dinners. Amazing relaxing vacation if you are waiting to destress!! Love the time spent. The owner is awesome! Thank you

This property is so beautiful, you walk in and your breath is taken away by the panoramic 18th floor views to the beach, marina and mountains. The large deck has a private pool with a table in it, allowing us to enjoy the sunset in the pool while playing cards, Bananagrams with our 20something daughters. It is well decorated with original paintings and sculptures, and lush foliage in pots outside and fresh cut flowers inside. You are the topmost level, my daughters enjoyed laying on the loungers and looking at the stars. You do have to get up early to put towels on pool or beach chairs, people are out by 6:00 am and you're out of luck getting a chair after 7! Maybe it was worse because we were there during the holidays. All said, I would definitely stay here again!

Penthouse Paradise

We stayed in Jorge's AMAZING Penthouse for 10 fabulous nights, Jan 25 thru Feb. 4th 2017. Incredible is an understatement. We shared the Penthouse with another couple and we had room to spare. The lay out is wide open and with the large sliding doors that takes up the entire wall, your living space with the deck doubles. We spent so much time in the beautiful pool and the deck, with all the luxuries of your washroom, fridge etc. right at your finger tips. The architecture alone is worth seeing! Jorge has decorated the Penthouse so warm and inviting that you really never want to leave. We hope to be able to book again soon....I'm sure you will find it is the BEST rental you will find in the whole of Ixtapa. You will find dealing with Jorge is a pleasure and so easy from beginning to end. Thank you Jorge for sharing your beautiful home with us. :)

Jorge was the most gracious host, we loved everything about his condo! Very clean, wonderful furniture and decor, and perfect being able to spend time at the pool on the patio. I cant wait to return in 2021.

The Pent House views are by far the best we have experienced in our 15+ years of coming to Ixtapa , absolutely our favorite place to stay. Jorge was always quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely be back.

AMAZING PROPERTY

What a wonderful property in paradise. From the amazing views to the outstanding furniture and decor, Jorge's property did not disappoint. Jorge was an exceptional host and it was such a pleasure to stay for a short while in his home. The fresh flowers when we arrived, the thoughtfulness of leaving emergency phone numbers were so out of the norm but gratefully appreciated. I can not say enough about the peace and tranquility of being on the penthouse. Coffee on the back deck, sun bathing in the front was just what we needed for a relaxing vacation. Everything in the condo was well stocked and there was nothing that we needed. We enjoyed the Bay View property, it was quite busy during Semana Santa and sometimes hard to get seats at the restaurant or the pool but we usually ended up in the condo as the views were amazing. We certainly loved having our own private pool. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Loved how the local buses showed up right outside the building and for a few pesos you could ride down to Ixtapa centro, Zihua or other beaches. Such a wonderful idea. We loved the vacation from the cross breezes that cooled the condo at night to the beautiful views of the marina and ocean, Would return in a heartbeat!

Nice unit but could have done without construction next door

Unit was very nice and Jorge was great. Only concern was the construction happening next door at the Penisula. Would have preferred for that not to be going on during our visit but otherwise nice stay.

AMAZING!!! MEETS ALL EXPECTATIONS AND MORE!

This property is an absolute marvel. We looked long and hard for an amazing property in Ixtapa, and we were not disappointed with our choice! Where to begin...there's really too much to say, but this home is simply a place where dreams come true. I especially loved staring up at the stars from the terrace and pool. It's amazing to be up so high and not have anything above you! Absolute serenity. The penthouse atmosphere is incredible. We came away with all kinds of marvelous design ideas for our own home in Canada. I've never seen some of these materials and concepts before! I was amazed to see this kind of quality and standard of care in a property available for rental (so I hope you will always rent this paradise)! Jorge, thank you so much for trusting us with your amazing home! You were an absolute pleasure to deal with, and everything was completely beyond belief. We will definitely be back...hopefully sooner than later! Oh, and thank you for the recommendations for the Tentaciones and Espuma restaurants. They were incredible, and provided the best dining experience we have had anywhere in the world. Muchas gracias, y hasta pronto!
