Our home is located in the community of Sandy Bay, just off the main road, very convenient location as we are very closet to super market, beach, restaurants and other fun activities, we are just 15 minutes driving distance away from West End and 25 from West Bay.

Our homes features 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, ample living space and an large back deck with amazing view to Caribbean sea.

Great stay

Very nice clean place overlooking the sea. Host was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. Easy walk to the supermarket and off the main road so easy to grab a taxi. Beach in front is public and not well taken care off unfortunately (no fault of the host) but about what you would expect being away from the resort areas.

No one cares about this property.

The bottom line is that property mgmt. company is not taking care of this property. We were there for 3 weeks starting in Feb. Pervasive roaches and ants (we live in Fl so understand the topics and kept everything in the fridge), lack of “ordinary household items”. For example had to ask for broom, cheese grater, sauce pan, knives to cut meat, etc. Asked for beach chairs because there are sand flees on the beach. Said no. Broken toilet seat, broken tiles crumbling under your feet at the drain, no tv remote, had to contact VRBO before we even left for Roatan because of lack of communication from mgmt. company. We have 2 vacation rentals ourselves so took the time to write a list of items they needed and even created a list of items that would be included in a “welcome binder” for guests and sent on Feb 29 to the property managers. Last reviewer who stayed after us said they didn't have a welcome binder so obviously they didn't do anything with what I created. This property would be amazing if someone cared about it.

Nice place but needs some work

The house itself and the view is beautiful, the living area is spacious. However we feel like the hosts have a few things to do before we host: - the place wasn’t ready when we arrived, not a big deal but we had to leave for the afternoon to let them clean and the ac hadn’t been turned on - there was no guest book telling us how to do anything or any checkin or checkout instructions - the properties on each side were undergoing construction which meant dozens of men were coming in and out of our secure gate very late athight - the host had the ac repaired in the middle of our stay so we had to leave for a morning while they came (it was already working though)

Sandy Bay

The listing and the photo were not at all accurate. The beach is filled with garbage, construction material and filled with dogs. The house is also right off a main road, noisy and dangerous to get in and out of the driveway. We were kept up most nights by barking dogs.
