Very nice host and property

We loved our stay but did have some inconveniences that just didn’t work well for our family. We had more of an extended family staying and there was only one key that worked for one lock. We actually ended up being locked out at one point. The host was great and quickly unlocked the door, but it would be nice to have a keypad lock that was functional. We only book properties with laundry in the unit as we have small children as well, and when we arrived to the unit the laundry was locked. The host did reimburse us for laundry expenses, but it would have been nice to have the laundry that was advertised when we booked. He says he is fixing this issue. The house really is great and fit our needs really well other than these couple issues. If we’re in Battle Lake again we would stay here again!

Great Getaway in Battle Lake

We had such a relaxing stay at the Battle Lake home. John was so inviting and helpful during check-in and over the Memorial Day weekend- so much as to help get us an extra baby monitor because ours stopped working! Our small family stayed for the extended weekend - it was perfect and spacious for just us, and a couple game nights on the patio with other visiting family. Nestled on a quiet street overlooking the lake, we were just a few steps away from downtown Battle Lake and even enjoyed a quick stop for ice cream at Granny’s Pantry. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

Battle Lake weekend

This is a beautiful house with top end appliances, furnishings, and decor. There is plenty of room with the 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. The property is just minutes from the lake with a dock for guest use. We were able to swim and fish right off the dock. The host is very quick at answering any questions. Battle Lake is a great little community, and the shops, restaurants, and bars are within walking distance. It is also close to Glendalough State Park which is a gem of a park with kayak, paddleboard, and bike rental available.

Girls Weekend

Very clean home and comfortable furniture! We loved every minute of our stay! I would definitely stay here again if I were to come back to Battle Lake!

July stay

The property was very well appointed and clean. There was plenty of room for a family of 5 with teens. The host was very accommodating and we had a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.

Battle Lake Home

Newly remodeled home on a quiet residential street. Owner is informative and responsive. Well stocked kitchen. High end appliances and fixtures throughout the home. Home is a short walk down a hill and across the street to the lake. Owner is waiting on a washer and dryer that was ordered to come in. The town of Battle Lake is quaint and the residents are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay. We loved shopping at Ben’s Bait for all of our fishing supplies, the employees were so helpful, we got our fishing licenses there too.

Beautiful renovation in great location

This recently renovated house was bright, comfortable, clean, and in a fantastic location in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk from restaurants and shops. The friendly host communicated very well. We would stay here again.
