Scenic, convenient, and family-friendly. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life and relax in our newly built lake-view cottage in Beautiful Agassiz B.C. Nestled on 7 acres of scenic beauty, our private home is the perfect spot for your stay in the Fraser Valley, just 1.5 hours away from Vancouver city. We provide free parking and self-check-in, and as well as all the usual modern conveniences. An easy choice for a comfortable and memorable visit, we look forward to hosting you!

Take in the sights and relax in our modern country cottage here in Agassiz B.C.. Our property overlooks the Fraser River and has the most stunning mountain views for you to enjoy. We have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a spacious fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room as well as a laundry room and private patio off the master bedroom. Enjoy use of our BBQ and feel free to make a camp fire at our fire pit :)

The entire home

The owner lives on the property in a separate house. She is available if you need anything.

We have amazing views from our airbnb but the river/lake itself is not walking distance from the property. Kilby historic park is 6 km from the airbnb with free parking. Harrison Lake and Park is 4 km from the airbnb with free parking after 8 pm.

No loud music and excessive noise past 9pm.
Please do not use abrasives to clean the stovetop. A simple wipe will do and the cleaner will take care of the rest.

Great location for family getaway

We were at the cottage to celebrate a milestone birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. Great place to just relax and be together as a family. The cottage was very clean and cozy. The kitchen was stocked and well-equipped. And the view from the cottage was beautiful -- perfect backdrop for family photos.

Beautiful Cottage!

We really loved our stay at the Lake View Cottage. It’s a beautiful location along with being so cozy and with all the space we needed. The cottage was very clean, so cared for and the host was very kind. We can’t wait to return.

Lovely View

The property had a wonderful view and the cottage was beautifully decorated as well as spotlessly clean. The kitchen was fully stocked along with laundry room and bathrooms. The owner is on site and was absolutely wonderful with communication and helping us get settled in the area. There is a lovely outdoor area with a firepit.

Awesome lakeside retreat!

A lovely getaway! The lake-view cottage in Agassiz is perfectly located, just 1.5 hours from Vancouver and a short drive from Harrison. The setting is beautiful, with modern amenities and easy self-check-in. Lovely and responsive hosts. Highly recommend for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Beautiful view & close to Agassiz & Harrison Hot Springs.

We found the property very clean & cozy. Beautiful view of the river. Great location for us as we had a wedding at Rowena Inn at Sandpiper Resort. (5 minutes drive) The master suite bed was adjustable at the head & feet. Cool feature for reading in bed. There’s a walk in shower as well as 2 tubs. The host Nicole was easy to get in touch with, not that we had any issues.

Beautiful location with great access to Vancouver area attractions

Absolutely lovely location on the Fraser River. Very peaceful and perfect for a late afternoon beverage sitting out looking out across the river to the mountains. Accommodations were great and very clean with a super kitchen. The host was very helpful and responsive. Would certainly return.

Magical cottage in the woods with a great view

This property is nestled in the woods, the driveway is a little hidden off the Peter Lougheed Highway. Driving in is magical through a dense row of trees … and then the property opens up and you are in your own world, with a gorgeous view across the valley. We were greeted with a smile by Violet, who was so attentive and helpful. I was even able to plug in my electric car to pick u a little charge over night. Violet even gave us recommendations for dinner (The Black Forest restaurant in Harrison). A lovely place, with lovely hosts.

Lovely little property

This property is very nice and pretty much brand new. It's spacious and well equipped and very nicely decorated. The views from the firepit are fantastic. Furniture and guest beds are all quite hard and not the most comfortable/cozy but other than that it's wonderful. The pictures don't show it but the house is for all intents and purposes, a duplex. Violet is a wonderful host and attentive without being intrusive. I would definitely book this property again.

Family weekend of memories

We met up for a weekend of family sturgeon fishing and this VRBO met our needs for comfort and convenience. The view from the property was just as nice as the view from the boat. Hooked Up Fishing Charters helped us land a 350 lb sturgeon.

Great Getaway, Beautiful Area

The host is wonderful, and the cabin is beautiful, comfortable, exactly as advertised, and spotlessly clean. The views of the Fraser River and surrounding mountains are absolutely gorgeous, and the property has the feel of being out in the wilderness without being too far from the many different activities in the area, such as Harrison Hot Springs. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful Beauty

It is a really nice place to stay! Will be coming back as it's a great location and the owner is such a lovely lady, we really enjoyed talking with her. We were able to have all the family together in one spot instead of a hotel, huge bonus was the outdoor fire pit.

Wonderful place and Host!

This was such an incredible stay, the place is so modern and peaceful, while being so close to so many things! The host was so kind, caring, and knowledgeable of activities to do in the area. Beautiful property, garden, and space overall!I If you want a chill, peaceful spot to vacation or just get out of the city this is the place! Will be coming again :)
