Perfect location and boundless charm

Great spot to spread out and enjoy a leisurely stay in the area with family. The peeve was great and so accommodating.

Great Beds and Coffee!

House was well appointed and stocked. Beds are super comfortable. Be prepared for some traffic noise since it is close to the street. Thanks for offering the most wonderful coffee!

Staunton New Year’s

Very nice well kept and well appointed downtown Staunton home. Host was responsive to questions and easy check in. Short walk to all downtown attractions and restaurants. Would definitely stay again .

Mixed review

This property is convenient to downtown Staunton. The living space is nice and felt clean, but the rest of the house did not appear to have been cleaned before we arrived. We found that the tablecloth had crumbs on it from whoever was there before, and the host was quick to bring us a new one. Unfortunately, as we continued to be in the house, we saw several other concerns. The fridge handle had residue/grease on it and there was an exceptional amount of opened condiments on the (uncleaned) shelves in the fridge. There were spiderwebs and bugs in many areas and 2 of the 3 bathrooms had definitely not been cleaned (showers had hair in them). There were clothes (day clothes, underwear, and hair extension clips) in the drawers in one of the bedrooms/bathroom. The beds appeared to have been clean, with the exception of one pillowcase that hadn't been washed. Lastly, there is a downstairs apartment with a resident in it. This wasn't a huge deal, but it took me by surprise when we arrived. We could hear the tenant one night and the cats outside woke us up one of the mornings. This is something I would've wanted to know beforehand.

We chose this property because of its proximity to the downtown shops and dining as well as distance to the local parks. This house is walking distance to all.

This house was built in 1900 and has the charm of an old home with all the functionality of modern renovation. A large covered porch, with swing, antique furniture, a large dining room and full Kitchen.
