A great basecamp for your mountain adventures. Soak in the mountain views from the hot tub, zen out in the treehouse sauna, chill on the big deck or stay cozy inside this modern, fully equipped tiny home.

Our property is located a 6 minute drive from downtown Golden and 20 minutes away from the lifts at Kicking Horse resort. Driving distance to Yoho, Glacier, Banff and Bugaboo National parks.

You'll be staying in your very own tiny home cabin on a forested property just outside of Golden. You'll feel like you're tucked away in the woods, but only a 5 minute drive to get groceries.

The property has 2 other tiny homes and a gargage. They share a hot tub, cedar barrel sauna (in a treehouse) and a fire pit. (all with epic mountain views)

Your tiny house won't feel tiny at all, it has lots of windows overlooking the views and a big deck, complete with BBQ and seating.

Inside the tiny home you'll find:

- everything you need to cook (mini fridge, toaster oven, induction cooktop, pots, pans, cutlery, dishes etc)
- a full bathroom with tiled shower and heated floors
- Smart TV
- Pull out couch
- Lots of storage
- High Speed Starlink internet

You can use the hot tub, sauna and fire pit whenever you'd like but they are shared with the other cabins

House Rules
Some easy rules to live by

Dogs: 🐕
We love dogs here! Please just make sure they stay off the furniture and linens. We ask that you please pick up after their bathroom breaks!
Toilet:
Being a rural property we use a septic system therefore, Please only flush toilet paper. (no diapers, paper towels, wet wipes etc..)
Parking:
Please park near the tiny houses and leave the large turnaround area clear
Cooking:
Don’t use metal on the nonstick cooking pots instead use the silicone utensils provided so that the pots/pans stay in good shape!
Ski, bikes and gear:
There is a gear room for skis and bikes. Please leave your gear in there and not in the house to avoid any damages to home.
Noise:
Please Be respectful of the person in the other tiny home, and keep outdoor music to a minimal after 10pm.
HOT TUB:
Please shower before using the hot tub. Absolutely no glass in the hot tub. broken glass will result in a 300$ refill fee.
Garbage:
Don't leave garbage outside. any excess garbage can go to the bins located on the property.
BBQ: please burn off any excess food to ensure no animals are attracted

A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home — Golden Tiny Home, Cabin #2 We’ve driven past Golden so many times and now deeply regret not stopping sooner. Discovering Golden Tiny Home through Expedia was truly a blessing — it exceeded every expectation and gave us the peaceful escape we had been searching for. My husband and I stayed in Cabin #2, and we were amazed by how spacious, thoughtfully designed, and cozy it was. We love quiet, private getaways, especially in the late winter, and this place was perfect. After previously exploring places like Kananaskis and Emerald Lake, this time we wanted to go further — and we’re so glad we did. Golden Tiny Home isn’t just about the space (though it’s beautifully clean, well-organized, and surprisingly roomy); it’s also about the community and experience. From sipping freshly brewed Kicking Horse Coffee and enjoying buttery shortbread cookies at Golden Bakery & Deli, to savoring a hearty breakfast at Papa Bear’s Kitchen, to wandering across the Kicking Horse Pedestrian Bridge and strolling through Confluence Park along the serene Columbia River — the entire town felt warm, welcoming, and memorable. What made this trip even more special was that we brought our two dogs with us — and they loved it just as much as we did. We walked along the river, watched them swim, picked up rocks, kicked the soccer ball, and hiked around the property. It was pure joy. Thank you for creating a space that felt like home. We can’t wait to return!
