Perfectly situated in Lenox MA, this beautiful open 5 acre property offers an oasis of relaxation with views of October Mountain. Read under the apple trees, listen to the babbling brook or simply gaze at the stars from around the fire pit. All this, yet you’re only minutes to Lenox restaurants, Tanglewood concerts, Lee outlets and everything the Berkshires has to offer. Minimum stay 28 days. May be negotiable..

Inside, you’ll find the perfect house for entertaining and family vacations. All new bathrooms, furniture and decor means everything is super clean and welcoming.

Enjoy the many spaces to relax. The main level offers a large living room with wood burning fireplace, a sunlit three season room for morning coffees and an expansive deck with outdoor lounge furniture, dining table, barbecue and canopy umbrellas.

An open floor plan connects the fully equipped kitchen with new GE Pro oven/range with a counter bar and bright, friendly dining room. Adjacent, the large comfy family room that includes a 65” TV with surround sound and gas fireplace.

The ground floor also includes a powder room and private en-suite bedroom with full size bed and full bath. A mud room and access to the large two car garage with level 2, 240 volt EV charger completes this level.

Upstairs, you’ll find a large landing with another deck overlooking the meadow and October Mountain. To one side, the private primary suite with king bed, vaulted ceilings, a walk-in closet and spa-like bathroom with soaking tub and huge walk-in shower. On the landing’s other side, a spacious hall bath and two comfortable bedrooms:one with two twins beds and beautiful views, the other equipped with a queen bed and its own en-suite full bath. The second floor also offers an extra upstairs TV room/bedroom with a queen pullout sofa for unexpected guests.

Enjoy a month in the Berkshires this summer - in a house equipped with everything you need, near everything you want to enjoy: Tanglewood 3.5 miles, Shakespeare&co 2miles, Kripalu yoga center 4 miles, Miraval resort&golf 1 mile, Jacobs pillow 11 miles. Hiking and Biking trails throughout the area.

We have always loved the Berkshires: the amazing combination of outdoor beauty and activities with unmatched cultural events. We love summer hiking, biking and fishing as well as winter skiing and snow shoeing. As New Yorkers, we love the fantastic restaurants three minutes away in Lenox and beyond. And most incredible, is the experience of concerts at Tanglewood- from Bonnie Raitt to Rachmaninoff- theatre at Shakespear&Co and the Colonial in Pittsfield, plus dance at Jacobs Pillow. There is literally music available to hear almost every night during the summer, events most evenings at incredible historic homes such as The Mount and Naumkeag, not to mention beautiful open-to-all Lenox tennis and pickleball courts up the road from our house.

We bought this house in Lenox after looking for several years for a second home.
We instantly fell in love with the property...the beautiful views, the hundred year old apple trees, the open meadow and the sounds of the creek. We spent the first two years updating the house, redoing all five bathrooms and bedrooms, furnishing each room to be a comfortable country retreat where we could just relax with friends and family. Nothing too formal, just welcoming.
