THIS PROPERTY SEEMS TO BE A BAIT AND SWITCH SCAM. We reserved and paid for a nonsmoking 2 bedroom condo at Wyndham. The condo we reserved had 2 full size beds, and a king bed. We had 5 adults in our group and needed 3 beds. According to Vacay Home Connect, we reserved this specific unit. When we arrived at Wyndham, we spent about 2 hours trying to get checked in. Wyndham told us numerous different stories. First, they said we had no reservation, even though I had a confirmation, I had paid in full, and I had the email on how to check in. Then they said I cancelled the reservation 2 days earlier. Again I had corresponded with them on the same day as my check in and received my check in email earlier on this same day. Then they said the owners management company cancelled our reservation. So we called Vacay Home Connect and had them on speaker phone with the Wyndham manager. Vacay Home Connect had no record of any cancellation and showed our reservation active and paid in full. So then Wyndham moved us to a neighboring property, Fall Creek Resort. Upon check in there, we were charged additional fees, even though we were already paid in full. When we checked in they only had a condo with 2 beds and sofa pull out bed. THIS IS NOT WHAT WE PAID FOR. When we got to the unit, the place was Very Old and VERY Dirty. It strongly Smelled like Marijuana, had a broken door latch so the back door remained OPEN during the ENTIRE stay, the pull out sofa mattress was stained, both of the bathrooms had mold and mildew, the guest bathroom had damage to the wall, the master bathrooms shower curtain rod was barely connected to the wall and the wall was damaged. We were afraid to even touch the shower curtain as it looked like the rod would completely pull out of the wall. When we pulled out the sofa bed, it had a dead bug folded up in the mattress along with food in it. The mattress was FILTHY and stained. This was an expensive rental and not the unit or even the resort posted in this listing! I have pictures of everything but the VRBO review did not allow me to post them. When we again asked the Wyndham managers about our reservation we got another story... We were told Wyndham Corporate cancelled our reservation and rented our condo to someone else. The funny thing is, after we returned home we got emails from Wyndham asking how our stay at Wyndham was. All of this makes no sense to us. I have asked for a refund but have not received anything. DO NOT RENT THIS UNIT
