Modern forest cottage convenient to Sewanee
Connect with nature in our new, bright and modern 2 bedroom/1 bath guest house tucked away in the forest, but in a gated community with community lake with beach, pool, playground, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts.
Watch deer from the screened porch, stroll 1/2 mile to the serene lake, or drive 15 minutes to hike the vast trail systems of the University of the South or South Cumberland State Park. Then return to rest and stream movies over high-speed fiber internet.
We designed this place to feel bright, open and connected to the surrounding forest with plenty of windows, vaulted ceilings and a spacious screened porch. It sleeps 5, with 2 queen bedrooms and a twin bed in a special loft with views of the stars. And the fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer allow you to settle in for as long as you'd like.
*Please observe maximum capacity of 5 people -- not suitable for parties.

We're empty nesters who love to travel - especially when we find a great Airbnb at our destination! Some of our favorites have been in Asheville, Louisville and Sydney, Australia. Other favorite destinations have been Palm Springs, San Diego, Telluride and the Caribbean.

Clifftops is truly one of a kind -- a gated community that feels like a state park. Each house is on at least 5 wooded acres, but we share a community pool, tennis, basketball & pickleball courts, playground, hiking trails and a lake with a sandy beach. Here's how one of our guests described it...
"The Airbnb is in the most magical community - 3000 acres of wooded land set up as a private community. It's like driving into a private state park. The roads through this community are so magical and winding, and you pass all sorts of homes and trail heads on your way in. I had no idea that communities were created like this, and I can't lie, living in a place like this is now my life goal."
