Great stay

We had an amazing time. The location was walking distance to town which we walked to on a daily basis. Also, the house was clean and perfect for our family of 6.

Perfect Nantucket stay

Great home for family gathering

This is my second time at the Little Dipper. The house is very comfortable, well laid out for a group, and a nice distance from town. Gail is a great host! I hope to stay there again soon.

Nantucket family outing

It was a wonderful location for walking into town and yet also enjoying nature, including some regular deer visitors. The house was very nice and comfortable with fun games and a very well equipped kitchen.

Great stay

The Little Dipper was perfect for our family vacation. Our only complaint was construction behind the house made naps with small children challenging. However, we used white noise and all turned out ok. We will definitely stay again!

Great for all generations! Travelled to Little Dipper with 3 generations and all were happy with the location, house and impressed with the beach toys, chairs, and kitchen supplies. Fully stocked, clean and convenient for biking or walking

Another wonderful stay at Little Dipper

This was my family’s second stay at Little Dipper and it was as great as last time. Perfect location near center of town, beach, and bike paths. House was perfect size for our 3 generations of family. The deer and bunnies outside were a big hit as well and contributed to the peacefulness of the property. Would definitely return!

Wonderful stay

Our family had an unforgettable stay at this charming Nantucket house. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how well-stocked the home was with amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and the living spaces were cozy and inviting. One of the best features of this house is its location. It’s just a short walk to town, making it easy to explore the local shops, restaurants, and attractions. We loved being able to stroll into town for breakfast or an evening ice cream run. The house itself is perfect for families. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The backyard was a great spot for family barbecues and outdoor games. Overall, this house provided the ideal setting for our family getaway. We made wonderful memories and can’t wait to return!

Loved the Little Dipper

We had a wonderful long weekend at the Little Dipper. The house is spacious and comfortable. The owners provided plenty of sheets, towels, and other necessities. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. Location is great!! Just a short walk into town along lovely streets. Private backyard with an outdoor shower. We will definitely be back!!!

We come back every year!

This is our third or fourth stay at Little Dipper. It just does not disappoint!!! The AC units were new this year and appreciated. The house is clean, close to town and beaches. Just perfect. We highly recommend the outdoor shower!

Great vacation at the Little Dipper in early September

First trip to Nantucket. We came in the day after labor day and stayed thru the following weekend. Everything with the rental was perfect, including the directions and the process of getting the keys, etc. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, including items for the beach (where we spent most of our time). We really liked the house, nice layout, very clean, roomy, big deck, lots of windows, well equipped kitchen, great location within walking distance or biking to the commercial waterfront and several beaches (although we rented a car for this trip). The house had a nice Nantucket decor and feel. The Island and the weather were also perfect! Would rent this property again....wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect spot for family vacation

My parents, sister, husband and children and I had an amazing time at the Little Dipper. The location was amazing…close to town, h the e beach, and bike trails. Set back from the road, you are surrounded by nature with bunnies and deer often walking through the yard. The house itself had a great setup for our group. We would definitely go back in the future!

This was our 2nd time staying at Little Dipper. The house is just perfect for our family group, consisting of 3 generations! Close enough to town to walk in, secluded enough to enjoy some alone time in peace. Just perfect. Can't wait to return next year!

Delightful family time at the Little Dipper

The Little Dipper cottage was a perfect place for our "growing" family and grandchildren to meet for a week during this "covid" time where we felt comfortable to relax. The location is very convenient to walk into town. The ground space around the house was nice and private and well suited for badminton, bocce, outdoor eating, etc. We ate almost all our meals around the wonderful big dining room table, or outside on the deck. The kitchen and house were well equipped and we appreciated this a lot. We'd like to return! Thank you!

Walking distance to town

Little Dipper was a perfect house for my friends and I. It was clean and spacious.

We loved the location and the house was so comfortable and bright. We walked into town most days and enjoyed being close to bike paths and a short ride to the beach.

Beautiful Getaway

My husband and I loved our recent stay at Little Dipper Cottage. The location is perfect--close enough to walk to town, but far enough away for peace and quiet. The cottage is fully equipped with anything and everything that you might need for your stay on Nantucket; we were blown away by the attention and style of every detail. The cottage was immaculately clean and everything was in great shape. Honestly, we really didn't want to leave. We had an extra bonus in that every evening about sunset, a deer and her fawn would come up to the front lawn to graze. We were only two, but the cottage easily sleeps 8-10. I highly recommend this cottage to anyone. We'd stayed many times on Nantucket, but never in such style as this. Thanks Gail for a wonderful trip!
