Slocan Lake and New Denver visit

Well designed and built cabin, great swimming although it is a stoney beach. A dishwasher would be a good luxury otherwise cooking and bbq works fine. A later check out would also be easier. Thanks!

Stunning flower gardens Great Lake view. Wonderful hosts. Beautiful cottage.

Very peaceful and relaxing. Comfortable cottage. New Denver and area is laid back and quiet. Slocan Lake is extremely clean and refreshing. Our hosts Roni and Steven were very kind and we were lacking nothing. 🌷

Amazing family vacation!

Freya's cabin was the perfect place to stay for our family vacation with our two young children. The cabin is beautiful and very clean, the property is stunning with well-kept gardens and gorgeous views, and the hosts were kind and helpful. Freya's cabin is in a great location - it is quiet and secluded while still being walking distance to town and the beach. Our family loved exploring the trails and beach minutes from the property, and it was also a perfect starting point for bigger adventures in the area. Slocan Lake was incredibly clear and a wonderful place for a daily swim! We can't wait to return!

Fantastic vacation!!

Staying at Loki Lodge was one of the best experiences we’ve had. Great & beautiful location, perfectly kept cabin and grounds, and Roni & Steve were very pleasant and easy to communicate with!!!!! We definitely recommend this property!!!!!

Beautiful Cabin and Grounds

We loved our stay at Freya's Cabin. The cottage is very comfortable and the landscaping is wonderful, with summer flowers, views of Slocan Lake, and a meandering path down to the beach at Bigelow Bay. The hosts Roni and Stephen were very accommodating and we can't wait to return!

A little piece of Heaven!

The pictures do not lie, it's just as beautiful as advertised. My 3 kids and I stayed in Freya's cabin for a week and it was a week of relaxation and enjoying natures beauty, Slocan lake is breath taking and so clean with minimal motorized boats so it was very peaceful. Roni and Steven were amazing and were generous enough to share some of their fresh fruit/vegetables from their amazing garden. Next time, I would rent both cabins and share the experience with family or friends, as you would share the courtyard but their is enough space at both cabins to still have privacy if your with people you don't know and a gate in-between. The property and space is very well maintained and so clean, our hosts were very quick to respond to anything we needed i.e. clean towels etc. Thank you Roni and Steven!!

Spectacular cozy private location

A private location just ten minutes from town that allows you to have an excuse to pick up anything your heart desires and go for a walk by the lake. A comfortable cabin with a beautiful view. Great hosts on site with a friendly dog.

A Most Relaxing Stay....

We stayed for 7 nights, and it was the most relaxing week of downtime in a long time! Roni and family were excellent in managing the arrival and communication was a breeze. The pictures do not quite do the location justice. The lake and a beach/hiking trail are just below a very private setting. Parking is roomy and secure (in case you have boats/canoes/biikes). The interior is well appointed and comfortable as it the patio - hope we can come again when there is no fire ban and we can take in the smokeless views across the lake! Whether you wish to recreate or tour, there are numerous opportunities for both. It was a great visit...

Superlative!!

Beautiful setting! A real "home away from home" and the views of the lake and access to it couldn't be beat. Roni and Steven were the best hosts! This is the only place we've ever stayed more than once--it's truly magical and a very special environment. With luck, we'll return next year!

Wonderful Cottage on Slocan Lake

Property is beautiful, fantastic place to relax and enjoy the mountains and lake. Cottage has everything you need and more for you stay. Great biking and running on the local rail trails. Beach was beautiful. Really enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous cabin, beautiful spot

What a great place to stay in the West Kootenays! The cabin was clean and well appointed. We wished there had been comfortable chairs to sit on outdoors as the picnic table isn't great for relaxing and reading (the photo shows Adirondack style chairs, but they are for the other cabin on the property), but otherwise was just what we needed!

Wonderful Family Vacation
