Om boendet

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Nice large rooms with split units, large enclosed backyard with parking for 4 cars. Great for outdoor fun and 30 mins from MacArthur Airport. This House has lots of rooms for Groups or friends traveling together or large families getting together for Long Island Carnival, Cricket or family reunions.

Within 15 minutes to outlets for shopping, restaurants, attractions for kids, beaches, concert venues or trains to the city.

The prices are for a 3 bedroom apartment. Some rooms are larger than others but they are generally 120 - 180 Sq ft. There are common spaces that are NOT MEANT FOR SLEEPING. Guests are not to be sleeping in the living room area.

All residents are to sleep in the 3 bedrooms upstairs. The entire space is furnished and there is a cleaning fee of $200.00 for those staying a week or more.

There is a two person per room per night limit. All reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE 5 days or less till your arrival. No smoking in any part of the property. No parties inside or outside of the house. Please leave the room as you met the room.

If you are given a room upstairs you are not permitted to go downstairs. There is a Kitchen and bathroom on each floor. The floor where your room is located is the bathroom and Kitchen you are able to use.

Guests are not allowed to use the backyard for parties or any other use. Once you are within 5 days before your arrival instructions will be sent giving you all the details you will need for your stay. Reach out to me if for any reason you have not received them. The best way to reach me is thru the Airbnb app. I respond to every inquiry very quickly. I do also may drop by the property once you arrive to make sure everything is going well with your stay please treat my property like it were your own.

Felt blindsided

We received a call from owner two hours before to go over rules. At that time we were told towels were an extra charge even though it’s stated on the site when I booked it. We were told they don’t provide blankets. So spent $100 at the store before we even got there! Thank God we didn’t fly in because we would’ve had extra baggage going home. When we got there there was still stickers on the windows and door, the floor upstairs was not mopped and dusty. The toilet bowl rocks when sitting on it. They stated on the site there is a washing machine there was none. We could not cook due to no cookware except two little saucepans and a spatula. No dish towels either! The cardboard was still in the over and I didn’t realize til I put my pizza in which I had to lay on the rack! I was told by owner I should’ve used microwave. Sorry I don’t microwave pizza! The house was redone and it was pretty but his website needs to be updated. I think I should’ve received some money back for the purchases I had to make!

Nice, clean, comfortable place

Ben the host, was available and easy to communicate with. The house is clean, new furniture, comfortable beds, new appliances and plenty of parking. One thing to note, unless you want to pay for towels and a comforter, bring your own.

‼️This Host Is Duplicitous‼️

Our family moved to Costa Rica in August, and so when I booked our stay, I was very happy that our family would be able to stay close to our old neighborhood. I had some direct communication with the host days before our planned trip, and everything was fine. As we boarded our plane, he called me to inform me that he charges $4 for each towel, and $12 for each comforter. Despite what his listing says, he also informed me that there was no washer or dryer, and that we cannot use the backyard!!! He recommended a a local laundromat, but didn’t even offer to compensate us for the inconvenience. His listing also stated that there was one bathroom and one half bathroom- there was only bathroom available to us. I told him via our text exchange on the VRBO app a month before our arrival date that we were traveling as a family (we have a 15 year old and a 9 year old). When I complained, he lied to customer service saying that he didn’t know. He is not apologetic nor remorseful. It is clear that he has been getting away with deceiving people. I will not let anyone I know or care about do business with this person, and VRBO should not let him get away with deceiving any more guests!!!!!

Home was not ready for guest at ALL

Review: Our stay at this property was disappointing due to several major issues that disrupted our experience: 1. Unplanned Contractor Work: During our stay, a contractor was scheduled to work inside the property. Unfortunately, this project went beyond the lock installation mentioned over the phone. It turned out to be a larger task involving woodcutting, which filled the house with debris and wood particles. This was particularly concerning as we had children present who were exposed to the dust, while the contractor wore a mask. 2. Plumbing Issues: We experienced persistent plumbing problems, including a backed-up tub that filled with sewage where we were supposed to bathe and use the toilet. While we appreciated being allowed to use a shower curtain from the downstairs bathroom that we had to install the ongoing issues were a major inconvenience and caused delays during our stay. Along with no towels. 3.We had to adjust our schedule to wait for the contractor and plumber to finish their work before we felt comfortable leaving the property. This disrupted our plans and made it difficult to fully enjoy our time. 4. Frequent Communication: Instead of enjoying a relaxing weekend, we found ourselves constantly reaching out to address these problems. All for him to not honor our partial refund request he initially offered.

Property is not far from MacArthur Airport in Long Island but also near Jones Beach and many festivals all year round. Perfect for that traveler who has a car rental with easy access to trains (LIRR) headed for Penn Station or Jamaica, Queens
