Ett välutrustat 4500 kvadratmeter hem ligger på kullen av denna privata 39 tunnland privata ranch, med utsikt över en lugn damm omgiven av en blandning av betesmarker och trädbevuxna stigar - nära Giddings, Smithville (hem för filmen "Hope Floats" ) och Buescher State Park. Titta på soluppgången från den täckta verandan och flytta sedan in i det öppna köket / frukosten / sittgruppen med golv-till-tak-fönster som inramar en bred yta av landskap och djurliv. Förbered frukosten i det exklusiva köket med stort diskutrymme för att rymma ett team av familjekockar. Njut av att äta i det natursköna frukostområdet eller flytta till den formella matsalen med ett antikt bord med 12 platser.

Koppla av vid poolen på den täckta uteplatsen med mysig sittgrupp och extra bordssittplats för 12, medan barnen leker i ett trädbevuxet område i närheten, komplett med 8 "x 10" "klubbhus", trädfort, barnstor zip zip line och sandgrop. De fyra ranch house sovrummen sover 16 personer, och ytterligare 4 gäster kan rymmas - 2 på en queen-size minne skum bäddsoffa i spelrummet och 2 på en popup king size-säng uppsatt i sovrummet sittgrupp. Två av övervåningen sovrum sover 4 med en queen size-säng och en rulla säng, medan en tredje övervåningen sovrum rymmer 6 med en queen size-säng, två våningssängar och pack-n-play spjälsäng med baby monitor på begäran (booster / barnstol finns som väl på begäran.) Beautiful property, wonderful hosts

I held a 3-day retreat at the Savage Ranch and it was perfect for our group! Many different indoor and outdoor places to meet and hang out, every bedroom has its own bathroom and the games and pool/hot tub were amazing! My group enjoyed walking the trails on the property, meeting the horses and chickens and listening to all of the wildlife. I would highly recommend the ranch to retreat leaders, and for families, girlfriend getaways and anyone needing a respite. Valerie went above and beyond to ensure our group's stay was exceptional! Having stayed at rental properties around the world, I can confidently say that Valerie & Ryan have thought of everything.

Perfect Hill Country Getaway!

We had an excellent time at Savage Ranch! Our group of 13 (8 adults and 5 toddlers) had plenty of space and endless activities (pool time, board games, guitar hero, etc) for two days. The kids enjoyed seeing the chicken, ducks and horses on the property. Ryan and Valerie were great hosts and made us feel at home. Highly recommend!

Just go...you'll have the time of your life!

Such a beautiful and relaxing property, and Valerie and Ryan were spectacular hosts! The house is comfortable, inviting, and has everything you would need for a weekend (or longer, if possible!) getaway. The kitchen is abundantly furnished, as are the bedrooms and bathrooms. More to do on this property than anywhere we've stayed before...we will be back to visit our new friends Valerie and Ryan as soon as practical. Just do it...you won't regret it! :)

Best Family Weekend Ever!

This place is absolutely amazing and the Savage family went above and beyond for my family. My grandchildren loved everything and we can't thank Mrs. Savage enough for taking them to feed the horses, to see the baby chickens, and to pick grapes from vineyard and fruit from the trees. It was such quiet and relaxing weekend and we are looking forward to going back.

Perfect place for our family gathering

We absolutely loved the Savage Ranch. Valerie is a fantastic host and really goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your stay. We pretty much maxed out the volume of guests and were all comfortable with plenty of restrooms. It is a beautiful property and had the added bonus of getting to feed the horses with the kids and teach them about picking veggies from the garden. We really enjoyed the great game collection, and the swimming pool and hot tub got a lot of use. We highly recommend Savage Ranch to anyone looking to get out to the country and relax with family.

Lovely Hill Country Family Vacay

Our family of 13 (7 adults, 6 kids) had a great time at Savage Ranch during our stay! We all had our own space to spread out and there were plenty of activities to keep us busy inside the house. (Great selection of board games). Valerie and Ryan were absolutely wonderful hosts who went out of their way to make us feel welcome in their home. The kids adored the visits to the chickens, ducks, horses, multiple gardens and kids area with the zipline. Most of all, we all loved swimming and hanging by the pool in the lovely Texas Hill Country setting. Thank you, Savage Ranch, for your hospitality!

Family fun!

We had a blast at the ranch! It was well equipped for the whole family, including our 18 month old. The farm fresh eggs and veggies were such a nice (and delicious!) touch. The Savages also introduced our little girl to their farm animals, which she loved. We’d love to be back soon!

Great family friendly home with attentive hosts and lots of things to keep the family busy

We gathered at Valerie and Ryan's home to celebrate our daughter's 2nd birthday. The house was very comfortable and fully stocked. The kids stayed busy with the plethora of toys and games, zip line, berry- picking, pool, and horse- watching. (Explains why we're exhausted!...) Our family is already making plans to come back! An Amazing Place for a Family to Spend the Weekend!!!

I wanted to surprise my husband with a family weekend with all our kids and grandkids and the Savage Family made it possible. We had the best weekend and there was something for everyone to do. The grandkids loved the zip line and our kids spend the weekend fishing. The Savage family was so kind and helpful and everything we could possibly need was there. They even shared their garden with us, which my grandkids enjoyed picking fresh fruit and vegetables. We are looking forward to coming back again next summer.

We enjoyed our stay!

Savage Ranch is a wonderful venue for a large group. The hosts are fantastic and readily available. It was warm in some of the bedrooms and the coffee maker wasn’t working well. The host came over immediately to address the issues. We loved the welcome basket with fresh vegetables and eggs! We enjoyed the little extras. It is a well stocked kitchen and you won’t lack for anything! This is a ranch property and not a spa. So, expect a well loved, ranch feel as opposed to a brand new spa. It was a lovely stay and we hope to return.

Family weekend getaway

This place is perfect for large groups! Home was the perfect size to accommodate 10 adults and 3 kids. There was something for all of us to do. So much space to spread out through the home. We enjoyed the fresh air and disconnect from city life. The kids and family enjoyed swims in the pool. We had the chance to explore the property with fishing in the pond, walks through the designated trails, even getting chance to feed the gorgeous horses which was everyones highlight to the trip. My favorites had to be the morning sunrise and the view of the stars at night were breathtaking. We will definitely be coming back! Valerie & Ryan were awesome hosts so informative and helpful with giving us a tour of their beautiful home upon arrival. Great communication, great location, amazing home with amenities for everyone to enjoy. You will not regret booking this for your next trip.

Awesome property for family reunions

Had a family reunion with a mix of teenagers and kids 10 and 12 years old. Everyone had a wonderful time! There were plenty activities like fishing, the game room, barn, fresh eggs and produce in the morning (Thank You Valerie), and of course the pool! Highly recommend your next vacation be spent at the Savage Ranch!!

First Presbyterian Church Retreat

We had a wonderful time with kids and adults at Savage Ranch. On Saturday morning we had a delightful brunch and the kitchen and dining areas are perfect for large groups. In the afternoon kids swam, people relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful environment. In the evening we prepared dinner and enjoyed outside strolls to the pond, checked on the geese and saw the gardens and ended our day at the pool. Thank you so much!

Amazing house - Excellent Hosts!!

Valerie and Ryan are amazing hosts for their beautiful farmhouse in Giddings. Their home and property is an incredible one-stop shop for everything you need for your family and friends to enjoy a weekend in the Texas Hill Country. They have a very friendly house with all the supplies you would need to cook or grill. The activities for the kids are endless - horses, chickens, ducks, fishing, gardening, dewberry picking, zip lining, swimming, toys, movies, and the list could go on and on. If you want to get away for a weekend or a week and relax, this is the perfect spot to spend that time at.

Great Get Away

I had a group of 16 that used this as the base for our BP MS 150 bike ride. Plenty of space and very well stocked kitchen. Hospitality was fantastic! This is our favorite house out of the past 3 years (also our largest group). The property is well organized for both children and adults. On my list for next year's ride after I know the dates and how big of a team I have.

A beautiful home with great scenery and great hosts!

We really loved staying at the Savage Ranch! We came as a group of 12 ladies to enjoy the Round Top Antique Show. There was more than enough room for us. We could have had 4 more people and still had beds for everyone. It was still too cold to enjoy the pool, but we did enjoy the hot tub. Our drive to Round Top was an easy 30 min. It didn’t feel long at all since we could enjoy the beautiful scenery. We also had fresh farm eggs and fresh strawberries provided by Valerie Savage. It was a great experience and we’d definitely come back!

First Class, country-style!

Our group of eight adults and eight kids came from far-and-wide for an overdue reunion. We could not have been more pleased with the location, the amenities of Savage Ranch, and the hospitality exhibited by our hosts. The home is stocked with absolutely everything needed for cooking for large groups, both inside and outside. The rooms are all well thought-out, and are self-contained for family units in your traveling party. There are numerous a/v options for entertainment indoors, but we made the most of the great weather and scenery outside. We appreciate the hospitality and advise everyone to come and see how to do things the Texas Way in Giddings!

Fantastic Secluded Ranch!

Great stay in a most relaxing spacious home! Gorgeous view of horses, and the owl perched above the beautiful fishing pond. Thank you Valerie and Ryan for a wonderful holiday getaway with our family. Such gracious hosts!
