The Space:
"The Royal Cabin" is centered around an open living, dining, and kitchen area that is stocked by hosts who love to cook and entertain themselves. To the right when you enter is the cabin's primary bedroom with a queen bed. To the left sits the small office and second bedroom with a twin bed. If traveling with small children, we happily offer a pack n' play crib and full sized high chair.

The kitchen offers everything you would hope to need to add some special culinary pursuits to the occasion. Full sized appliances include an electric range and oven, dishwasher, and fridge. Open shelving makes it easy to quickly grab some wine, champagne, or whiskey glasses for a toast. And no retreat would be complete without options to sustain your morning caffein cravings. We offer plenty of Keurig cups if you want to keep it simple or a traditional drip coffee machine with some local ground coffee beans to support some of our favorite local small businesses.

We round out the well stocked kitchen with plenty of standard baking sheets, high quality cookware, and plenty of other options to make the occasion one that celebrates the small culinary victories as much as the romantic milestones. But if crafting your own meals isn't in the plans, Uber Eats, Doordash, and other delivery options are typically available. We also offer a premium grocery delivery service for an added cost that can have the fridge stocked alongside all of your other needs.

If a romantic getaway brings to the property, you'll find carefully curated details, decor, and a lighting that can see the mood for any special occasion - honeymoon, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays and more can be enjoyed while keeping close by all the conveniences of a private outdoor patio and hot tub, full kitchen, and recommendations on local adventures, wineries, and restaurant options.

Guest Access:
Guests have access to the entire cabin with the exception of some locked storage space.

The Neighborhood:
The property is nestled in the small mountain community of Shenandoah Farms in Virginia's Blue Mountains. The area is a mix of full-time residents, second homes, and short term rentals.

Getting Around:
While we encourage you to take a stroll using the mountain roads, a vehicle will be required to reach nearby attractions. The property can easily accommodate up to two vehicles in the driveway.

SPEACIAL OCCASION & PREMIUM SERVICES
We offer several special occasion decorating options and other services to make your romantic getaway worry free and one of a kind. Our most popular option is our premium package that includes bubbly, fresh flowers, balloons, and decor for $320. These typically require at least five days advance notice, but we may be able to accommodate last minute requests on a case by case basis.

PETS
We love hosting your furry companions and welcome up to two dogs. Please include them in your reservation and a pet fee will automatically be included in your reservation total. Additional dogs may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to additional fees to compensate for potential extra wear and tear at the property and additional cleaning regimens that we undertake. Note that emotional support animals (ESAs) are designated as pets and subject to these fees and other pet policies. Service animals are always welcome, but please let us know about them in advance so we can let our cleaning team know.

FAMILY FRIENDLY AMENITIES
We offer a pack n'play crib and full-sized freestanding highchair for families traveling with young ones.

VEHICLE REQUIREMENTS
The final stretch of roads leading to the property is unpaved but well maintained. Most of the year, 2WD vehicles can access the property without issue. However, during snow or icy conditions, 4WD or AWD may be recommended or required. We will notify you in advance if winter or severe weather is expected, offering guidance on safe access. Full refunds are typically only provided if the property is inaccessible for more than 24 hours by 4WD or AWD vehicles.

GUEST SAFETY & WELLNESS
Your safety and well-being are our top priority. All bedding, including sheets, quilts, and blankets, is washed between reservations. Smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are installed in all bedrooms, and fire extinguishers are available throughout the property.

The area is surrounded by wildlife - you will regularly see deer and may even sneak a peak at a black bear hanging out on the mountain. While the property rarely houses critters of its own, the occasional bug or tiny creature may make a visit! Just let us know if anything is out of the ordinary.
