Our weekend in Daytona
Location is wonderful, and safe. Security walks the outside parking area all night which is why we always rent in this building. We stay in this building every year. The view was beautiful. The unit could have been cleaner.. we entered the unit and the floor still had sand all over. The patio door was left unlocked prior to our arrival and we weren’t aware until we dropped our bags off, left, and came back, which made us a little uncomfortable as the patios are close enough for someone with bad intentions to come in while we were gone. We had to search the entire unit for the parking pass as it wasn’t specified where it was in check in instructions. Also the buildings 2nd floor parking was blocked off for repairs and there wasn’t enough parking to accommodate everyone staying in the building, spoke with security as there was 0 parking left and they stated we COULD park on 2nd floor if there was no parking left, however, we had to be out by 8am or we would be towed, even with a parking pass. (check out time was 10am - so we ended up leaving the property earlier than we intended) The beds were uncomfortable, however I do know that not everyone has the same preference. Also by the looks of the inside of the closet, there may be old water damage, and my asthma was acting up bad when inside the unit so I’m not sure if maybe that was the issue. Overall our stay was okay, but there is room for improvement.
