Charming condo near the beach

Condo was super clean, roomy, and charming in that fun Florida way… in a nice, quiet neighborhood close to the beach, Pier Park, lots of restaurants and shopping. I was a little disappointed in the distance from the condo to the beach… it was quoted as 10 minutes walking distance which is true but when carting chairs, umbrella, food, etc… the walk felt longer. Not a deal breaker at all but expect that unless you are traveling light, your best bet is going to be to drive to the front of the complex and park there to access the beach. Multiple pools and activities available on property and while the hours are a little unclear, there is plenty to keep the family entertained. Overall, a great place to stay near one of the worlds most beautiful beaches.

Great condo!

First and foremost, our host was amazing! He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy during our stay! A+++ The condo was very nice and exactly as it looks in the pictures! It is further back on the property, but it’s close to the pools which is convenient. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend!

Vacation get away

We had a great time and the place was very nice and clean. We loved it because it was right across the road from the beach. The only thing I wished was that it came with a golf cart like some of the other condos did.

Nice Condo

It was about a 10 min walk to the beach, but you can park closer so you don’t have to walk that far. I couldn’t get the tv upstairs to work for our kids, but they watched everything on their phone anyway. There was a day the water was turned off so something could be fixed. I contacted the hostess and he got back with me right away. He checked into it and kept in touch with me when the water would be back on. The condo was nice and it was clean. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

4th of July on the beach

Place was nice with everything you need. We were close to the beach and loved the firework display they had. Kids love the pools and short walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Great condo neighborhood. Horizon. Friendly,safe.

Tv's cable was not good, not many channels at all. Upstairs TV never worked for 2 teens. Not enough towels,fry pan needs update for non stick,sofa doesn't work good for setting on because of the pull out bed that we never used but a lil outdated. Could use sprucing up and patio too!! Owner was very quick in getting back to us tho and receptive.

Baseball in Florida

We came for my son's baseball tournament and this was close to both fields. Ocean was close and having so many pool choices was great for cooling down between games

Perfect place to Book

This condo was everything we were expecting and more. It was beyond clean, had lots of extra amenities and had a perfect location. We had constant communication with our host. She answered any and all questions we had within minutes of texting or calling. The other residents around the property were super friendly and gave us all kinds of restaurant recommendations. It was a very secure location. There was a security guard that was constantly driving by at night. As a family of 5, with younger children, I would not hesitate to book this place again.

Great place to stay.

The place was clean and perfect for my family of 5. Only down part was its located in the back of the property so walking to the beach was a little of a hike but they do have parking up front by the gate to park. so we just parked there and made the short walk to the beach. The owners are real friendly and helpful.

Great for a family

Very clean and nice! We had 2 families, each had 2 boys! Enough room but a little cramped when it rained but we made the best of it! Only down fall was not very close to beach...but we drove our truck down and just kept beach stuff loaded and drove less than a mile or so and visited different public entrances! The entrance across from the complex was VERY crowded!! But over all the complex and unit is very nice and clean and the complex staff was friendly and clean! We visited Gulf World and the beaches, also we enjoyed dining out every evening. The restaurant Coconuts at the front beach Rd entrance of the complex was amazing and best price on food down the strip! If we come back to PCB we will use this unit again! Thank you so much for a great stay!!!

Enjoyable and cozy

We enjoyed our time at Horizon South 32D. It got off to a bumpy start but that wasn't the owners fault, previous tenants had done alot of damage so our stay was delayed by a day but the owner was very negotiating. We loved the unit, however the pullout beds do need to be updated, their mattresses are worn out. For kids use they are just okay but for adult and teenage use they are too far worn. We loved all of the pools in the resort and everything was quiet at night. The unit was fully stocked just like walking back into your own home. You just need to bring the food and soap! Will definitely stay again!!

Great place!

We had us four adults and five kids and it still was a comfortable stay. Everything we needed was there and convenient. Very homey, clean and comfortable. We didnt want to leave honstly. We would definitely recommend stay here!

Our beach vacation

This condo accommodated two families with plenty of room for sleeping. The teens occupied the loft area and the parents slept downstairs. The pullout sofa sleeper in both the upstairs and downstairs offered enough sleeping quarters for everyone. The washer and dryer inside the condo was also a plus to have. The condo is well kept and clean and stocked with everything needed for a home away from home. It is a distance to walk from the back of the complex to the beach but the exercise was good for us! We enjoyed our stay!

Grandchildren

The place was exactly as described. We all had room to move around. It's close enough to Pier Park, and nice restaurants. Owner is friendly and responds promptly, if contacted. I will remember this trip forever, and will keep the owners info for future visits. Our only issue would have been cooking. Because of the size of the kitchen, you can do simple meals. I would have liked more towels, but, just washed them each day. Yes, I will go again.

Family vacation

The condo was well maintained as well as clean and the owner was great to work with and very responsive. Wonderful clean pools at the complex that were never crowded. Nice private patio for the kids to eat breakfast on in the mornings. The outside shower on the patio was great for when we came back from the beach. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants, actractions and the beach. Gated access on both Front and Back beach Road was a plus.

Clean / Convenient Unit and nice pools.

My wife and I brought our 5 small children and we fit just fine with the available beds and foldout sofa. (Kitchen and eating area is a little tight but it worked for us OK) The owner was quick to respond with our small issues (we had a light that had a small problem) and the cleaning crew that came over when we called the owner were close by and very helpful and also nice. Horizon south has 3 nice well kept pools and the employees I met there are nice. We used the the miniature golf, the pools, the hot tub, the snack booth, even the tennis courts. We drove down to the beach from the unit 32d (a little far to walk with a four and two year old) I would probably rate the unit at 4.5 stars if that was available.

Great Condo will definately book again!

The condo was very nice and comfortable. Everything you need is there. Just bring food and your clothes and you are set. Haymee is very accomodating. I informed her we would be arriving in Panama City early and asked if there was any way we could check in any earlier. She checked the scheduling and got back with me immediately and since the prior tenants were leaving the day before we arrived that we could since the cleaners would be done. The price was better than some of the other units in Horizon South as well!

Family vacation

My family and I absolutely enjoy this condo. Haymee, was such a pleasant person to work with. This condo is near plenty of places such as pier park, Walmart, Cvs and many more. Definitely would book here again.

Great week!

Just got back home from our week at PCB. This was our first experience at Horizon South, and we were very pleased. The pools were nice and since there are 4 they were never overcrowded. The staff was helpful when we had questions. This unit was very clean and the master bedroom was very comfortable. There is a grocery store very close by and all the restaurants and shops are convenient. Haymee was very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend this unit.

VERY COMFORTABLE

We were at this place for a little over a week and it was great. There was 2 adults, 2 kids and a 2 year only and liked this place very much. The pool is close by and the place had all you needed. The location is very close to Pier Park, and this Resort is very quite, had no issues at night trying to sleep. Hope to be back again next year. Thank you

Beach

This condo is very neat, well decorated and down right cozy. The only problem I had with it was the walk to the beach is very long. The 2 blocks is from the gate and the unit is in the rear. The neighbors had the law called to them but were evicted so that should not be a problem for future renters. Over all very nice place if you don't mind driving to the beach. I must say the owners are Great to work with. Very Nice.
