Lookout Lodge är en stor och lyxig timmerstuga med miles av spektakulär utsikt över bergen. Lodge är en icke-rökare, fyra sovrum, fem badkar som lätt kan rymma stora partier av familj och vänner. De enastående vyer kan ses från två separata sittplatser i det stora rummet med en golv till takvägg av glas över hela framsidan av lodgen som vetter ut över bergen. Koppla av på en överbelastad soffa framför den stora två vånings eldstaden i det stora rummet. Njut av en rätt måltid på frukostbaren, köksbordet eller det stora bordet i matsalen. Stig upp den stora trappan i mitten av det stora rummet med den indianska handelens filt till landningen där du fortsätter att ha enastående utsikt över bergen nedan. De två övre våningarna king size sovrum med angränsande badrum ligger på vardera sidan av stor trappa som erbjuder privatliv till gästerna. Två andra king size sovrum ligger på lägre nivå. På nedre nivån finns också spelrummet med biljardbord, storbilds-TV och våt bar. Fyra täckta däck är tillgängliga för gästerna att koppla av på på kvällen. Det blir inte mycket bättre än att njuta av en kopp kaffe medan du kopplar av i gungan på verandaen medan du tittar på de fantastiska vyerna nedan. Gästerna kan avsluta sin dag genom att blötlägga i det utomhus-ångbadet eller inomhusbubbelbadet. Stugan innehåller också sex satellit-TV-apparater (en storbildsskärm), video och DVD-spelare, en queen size-bäddsoffa, kolgrill, tvättmaskin och torktumlare och har enkel tillgång till kabinen med gott om parkering. Det kommer att sova upp till tio personer. Tillgång till internet finns på hyreskontoret.

Our stay was good, but if it was a bit cleaner on check in, would have been great. Main bathroom needed cleaned and place had ladybugs everywhere. Master bathroom downstairs needs door knob replaced . Was very difficult to open at times. Previous renters had a dog that went number 2 downstairs that was missed.

Cove Mountain people are great if I had an issue at the cabin they sent someone within the hour to take care of the problem. They listen to a few ideas we suggested about the cabin said they would check into it. They have always been so nice .

Much maintenance required

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Property requires updates and maintenance. Had to purchase a hammer so that we could pound the numerous nails back in that were protruding from the deck. Nails continued to pop up so that shoes were required when using deck. A main crossbeam is detached from header beam on deck roof outside livingroom. Portions of deck railing was replaced but the quality of the new contruction was shabby and ameuterish.One section remained wobbly to the point we put a chair in front of it so no one would lean against it. The "fire pit" was simply a few small stones placed in a circle off the front deck. Furniture was uncomfortable and should be updated. No big screen tvs. I believe the largest screen was 32". A dining room chair is broken and needs repaired or replaced. The view was awesome and while there were other minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay. But we highly recommend the owners look into the serious deck issues. Someone could seriously injure their feet as a result of the protruding nails. And the detached crossbeam should be reattached. We would recommend property with serious caveats.

Girls Weekend

All the beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were roomy!! The coffee pot was a disaster. There wasn’t one full set of of silverware, the dishes were less than adequate as well. Would go back if they upgrade the kitchen with is key for vacation and entertaining. Francis was a rock star in the rental office.

Cabin could use some things fixed inside and outer deck is a hazard. Entire deck needs replaced and south side deck needs to be blocked off. Outdoor trash can is a must have. Cleanup crew needs some supervision as alot was not cleaned when we arrived. Would not spend this type of money on this cabin again.

Gillade: Renlighet, incheckning, kommunikation, plats och annonsens riktighet

Great view and big place!

Easy check-in and check-out, these folks are pros. Big beautiful cabin with crazy views of the smoky valley throughout the day. Wood throughout so sound does carry, and be sure to bring soap/shampoo too, but we enjoyed sunshine and storms alike from the balcony which wraps around the whole house. Takes about 20 minutes for a windy drive to the main National Park visitor's center and about the same to grocery. We also spent a day at Dollywood, about 30 min from the cabin. Super fun and we were fortunate to share this place for a long weekend.

February 2021 Stay

We were very disappointed with the hot tub. This was one of the main reasons in addition to the view that we booked this property and we were unable to use the hot tub the entire time. They had a company come out to supposedly fix it but all they did was add chemicals. It stunk, was dirty and had hardly any water in it.

November 2020 Stay

Absolutely nothing I would change on this property. The house was so well thought out!! Gave the maid service a nice tip because everything was super clean. Sorry peeps, you will have ladybugs in the woods. My only suggestion is the decks DEFINITELY need some structural updates before they become an issue and replace the left side gutter so the upstairs bedroom doesn’t need duct taped because of water damage. If the deck was fixed properly the patio door in LR wouldn’t be ruining the floor either. Too beautiful of a property to let small details not be repaired before they become major and the house is so sound and well built. Beautifully decorated and the furniture was so inviting. Sadly I think they are about to build another cabin right next to this one and the privacy is one of the charms of the cabin. Love the views, parking and serenity. <3

Reviewer Comments: Lookout Lodge is a beautiful property that perfectly suited our needs, for the most part. I liked that is had 4 separate bedrooms with King beds, and private baths for 3 of those rooms. I also like that there is ample seating on the main level. The view is great, yet the road getting there is not scary, and there is plenty of level parking.It is a gorgeous cabin with a great layout (watch out if you are traveling with older people or those with limited physical abilities. There are no main level bedrooms. They are either upstairs or downstairs), however, one of the biggest drawbacks is that the place needs a good thorough cleaning. Upon arrival, we had to wash the table. The whole place is quite dusty, and there was a lot of dead bugs on window ledges, etc. When I checked under beds for any items left behind when we checked out, I noticed lots of dust and bugs under beds too. The pillows were old and stained. Windows, though ample, were dirty, and the blinds and front door had cacked on dust. Beds were generally uncomfortable, and need new linens.Other issues that took away from the overall experience were the torn living room furniture and the tv which was way too small for the living room area.Lots of seating on the decks was good, as well as the hot tub.I really wanted to fall in love with this place, but it was hard to overlook the dust/dead bugs, etc. For the money paid, it should be clean and well maintained. I would recommend the place for its ability to house a larger group, but not for cleanliness.

Reviewer Comments: Cabin had a very nice layout, view was excellent, but cabin is in need of repair, windows poured water when raining, and the place was infested with bugs, , two separate calls to the office and we were told that this is normal!!! No apologies, nothing. The cabin also needed a deep clean badly, plants and back of doors looked like a cat had slept on them there was so much dust. Back deck is badly worn and there are several loose deck boards. Will not stay here or use this company again.

Have been going for about 5 years now and this is by far the best view you will ever have ! Cabin felt cozy and like we were at home ! Only downside is that none of the blinds were open for us to see the view right when you walked in the house & my uncle had to clean about 50 dead flies off the window sill.

TERRIBLE -- DO NOT STAY HERE AT ALL COSTS, PLENTY OF OTHER OPTION

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my 4th stay in the area. I have stayed in many different cabins with beautiful views, this is just another one. However, I will not be returning to this airbnb nor will I recommend it to anyone.1. Check in is at 3 pm, upon check in the rooms were not clean, the bathrooms were dirty, the living and dining room were not clean. If there is a delay the expectation is to inform your guests so they are aware to hold off on coming by for a bit.2. Lack of communication from the host to the above and among other things.3. **** 15 mins after check in 2 people walked in without knocking, waiting to be let in or identifying themselves. The people in my group and I were very confused and felt very unsafe as we were not alerted by the host anyone was coming by. Upon calling the host, you are routed to the managing department, i spoke to two individuals a young women who was not apologetic or helpful and then the manager Adam. Adam was also very rude and unapologetic. He told me that these were the cleaning ladies and that check in time was not gaurenteed at 3 pm and that we can go to the office for food while we wait. This was not ok as i already bought a ton of food for our stay and informed him that i was aware it was no gaurenteed but i did expect some sort of communication of this. He then hung up the phone on me or at least tried to. I then had to sit on the phone listening to him and his colleagues laugh at the situation.4. Th people who walked in to clean were not wearing masks or following COVID 19 safety measures.5. Sink in the kitchen did not drain properly deeming it unusable. Moreover the dishwasher did work and would leak.There are many other beautiful cabins in this area, id stear away from this one.
