This exceptional holiday cottage is nestled into a secluded bay just outside Selca, along the south coast of the sunny Croatian island of Brac. As the cottage can only be accessed by boat, you can spend a carefree seaside, sunshine and beach holiday in absolute privacy, miles away from tourist noise.Recently (2015) renovated natural stone cottage in a romantic secluded location in a bay shared with just one other house, with an outdoor shower and a panoramic sea view from the extensive sunny terrace with a traditional stone grill

You can always find a cool spot outside during the hot midday hours on the terrace surrounded by olive trees and Mediterranean bushes. You can enjoy leisurely meals around the traditional stone grill with a panoramic view. Plenty of firewood is provided. The house is supplied with ecofriendly electricity generated by solar power. Despite the secluded location, there is a good GSM mobile reception.

The ground-level holiday cottage was newly built in 2008 in a traditional natural stone style. The living space of 80m² provides a living and dining room, a separate kitchen, two bedrooms, a modern bathroom and a guest toilet. The living room has a comfortable sofa and a sitting corner, satellite TV, a radio and a dining table with four chairs. A cast-iron fireplace stove exudes cosy warmth on cooler evenings. You go through into the kitchen equipped with a stove, a fridge with a freezer compartment and ample crockery and cutlery. One bedroom is furnished with a double bed (160 x 200cm), the other with two single beds (90 x 200cm) that can also be pushed together as a double bed. The sofa in the living room can be converted into a further bed for a child. The bathroom tiled in black and white is fitted with a shower cubicle. There is also a convenient guest toilet. Plenty of bed linen and towels are provided.

It is about 80 metres to the crystal clear sea. There is only one neighbouring house in the bay, so most of the time you have the beach all to yourselves.

If you arrive by car, you can leave it on the mainland at the harbour town of Sumartin opposite the island. The owner will collect you there, take you to the bay (Zirije by boat and directly to your holiday cottage. As a little welcome, you can enjoy a freshly grilled meal (fish and meat), included in the rental price. You can then hire the boat for the rest of your stay, which is recommended so you will be mobile. The neighbouring bay Hrvacka has a restaurant open all day with freshly caught fish and seafood specialities. The owner can also offer fishing trips on request and show you the best spots.
