Rymlig Casa Mar Vista (~ 1300 kvadratmeter inuti + massor av däckutrymme utanför) har en av de mest hisnande vyerna på Sunshine Coast.

Vi ligger inbäddat några minuters promenad upp från stranden i Hopkins Landing och bara 1 km från den närliggande Langdale färjeterminalen. Du kan anlända som en walk-on eller ride-on färjepassagerare för att nå denna vackra resa. Du kan till och med dra upp till Hopkins Landing Wharf i din egen båt och gå upp till huset. Hopkins Landing beach har Gibsons enda sandstrand, perfekt för när som helst på året för avkoppling vid vattnet, eller för romantiska kvällspromenader vid soluppgång eller solnedgång.

Dina barn (eller barnet i dig!) kommer att njuta av att utforska vägen intill stranden, där de hittar trädhus att klättra som ligger inbäddat i reststammarna av gamla majestätiska cederträ eller vandring / mountainbike i de närliggande regnskogarna.

Centrala nedre Gibsons är hem för den historiskt hyllade tv-serien "The Beachcombers", laddad med kaféer, en mängd fantastiska restauranger som inkluderar Molly's Reach och massor av knick-knack butiker som ligger bara 4 km från Casa Mar Vista. Om du inte vill köra eller har lämnat bilen hemifrån, finns en busshållplats för kollektivtrafik på Marine Drive omedelbart bredvid fastigheten för att komma till Lower Gibsons, Roberts Creek och Sechelt.

Like Living in a Painting

What a perfect view that Michael and Ozgur have in their lovely offering to those visiting the Sunshine Coast. Sitting on the patio is truly a gift - Waking up before the sun rises to capture the magic is highly recommended. Incredible hosts, always in touch and truly care about your stay. I would book again with no hesitation.

Beautiful View

The house was as advertised, great view, close to many activities and the ferry. As advertised, the parking is a little tricky, but we got used to it. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Michael was very good at communicating with us. Although the listing states that there is a downstairs resident, that issue deserves a couple of comments. First, the night we arrived she parked blocking both available spaces and claimed that she did not know anyone was staying upstairs. She moved her car but was not happy. Second, and more important, is that she is a heavy-smoker. When she was smoking on the patio downstairs, her smoke came directly up into our area. On at least two occasions, we had to go inside because the smoke was intolerable. If we had not been out and about until late in the evening on many occasions, we would have wanted to spend more time on the patio and would not have been able to do so because of the smoke. You should also be aware that, in addition to cigarettes, she smoked pot, the smell of which drifted up to our patio. If it were not for this neighbor, we would have given the house five stars.

Spectacular views

The sunshine coast is stunning and this property really takes advantage of the views. The hosts are also very responsive. I ran into payment problems using the VRBO app, but Michael Gannon worked with me and VRBO to figure out what was wrong. Once the issue was resolved, my friend and I were able to relax and enjoy our weekend.

The location is very convenient, close to the ferry. The view is beautiful. However there is only one parking spot, and very hard to find a space to park extra cars. Also I would say it is a 2br because the third one is not a room, it is just a queen bed beside down stairs. Overall it is good , clean and cozy.

Lovely getaway near the beach

The views from the property are fantastic! The beach is a short walk away. Our kids appreciated the toys and the trampoline in the yard. Everything was very clean, and communication with the hosts was excellent. We enjoyed our stay.

Great place for Sunshine coast adventure

Our family truly enjoyed the stay. Our host sent us detailed instructions and recommendations on what to do in advance. The house was very well equipped. Hikes, beaches, cafes, breweries, shops are nearby. Definitely, it is a place where our family would happily come back!

A wonderful place to stay!

Our only regret about staying at Michael and Ozgur's Casa Mar Vista is that we couldn't stay longer! For a start, Michael and Ozgur are the perfect hosts: warm and generous and so easy to communicate with. Their bright space is inviting, comfortable, well-equipped and spacious. The coastal views are simply stunning - we spent many a happy hour on the deck, playing games and sipping a cocktail or two. A few minutes drive and you'll find excellent beaches and hikes and the lovely town of Gibsons, with it's great coffee shops, restaurants and boutique shops. We will definitely be return visitors! Thank you Michael and Ozgur!

Amazing view

The property was clean and well prepared. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Was listed as 3 bedrooms 2 beds, but is actually 2 bedrooms. Little too far away from Lower Gibsons for walking, but is an easy drive. Would definitely stay here again.

Amazing and very relaxing view - would definitely recommend

We loved our stay at Casa Mar Vista, the view is just astonishing and we even spotted a pod of orcas from the living room! There are 2 spacious bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, which is perfect for 2 couples (or a family). I believe there is enough space to accommodate more people if needed. There is everything you need in the kitchen and a large BBQ. We brought our own games but we had so much fun with the ones that were at the property already. It's really close by the ferry terminal so you don't even need a car if you are just looking for a place to stay (and I think there are some buses to go around). But if you have a car, there is a parking spot available too. Michael & Ozgur are very available if any questions too!

Spring break trip

I and my family including my 4 year old and 12 year old had awesome time here for spring break. The place is very clean and bright with natural sun lights and has the most beautiful view of the mountains and ocean. Also location is great. It's close to everything. We would love to come back here.

Wonderful location, beautiful view

We had a wonderful long weekend at Casa Mar Vista. The property is in an excellent location, only a few minutes walk to the ferry and beach. This is definitely a property you could visit without a car, but you'd need either bikes or to use transit to get to the stores. The property itself is well stocked and comfortable for all ages. We really appreciated the little mattress and bedding available for our toddler. If you have little kids I'd recommend a quick run through before letting them loose to move some of the more delicate vases/shells out of reach!

Great location and fully stocked house

Pros: Thorough and prompt responses from owner, he was very helpful and kind when questions were asked. House is stocked with all items needed, very close to ferry, amazing views, lots of extra towels, bedding, dvds and books! Cons: House not as described in listing. There is actually a rented suite under the top floor. We were made aware of this a few days before arrival. This was not ideal for us for a few reasons. First being we have a loud toddler and we would never rent something like this knowing the noise of her little feet running around. The people renting the basement I'm positive were doing their best to be quiet but you could hear every door shut and cupboard slam. Not the most quiet environment to unwind. You also don't have access to the 3rd bedroom as mentioned in the listing. Finally we were told the tenants would come up to check in and bring some toys (mentioned in listing) for our daughter but unfortunately this didn't happen. I think if the listing were updated with this information it would be more reflective of what you're renting. Lastly, tub in master needs a deep clean. We turned the jets on to give our daughter a fun bath and it quickly filled with black chunks of ? Mold? Dirt? from the jets and we had to take her out. I'm sure they can be quickly rectified for the next guests.

Beautiful house to stay in ,bed very comfortable.it had everything in kitchen that you would need , view is unbelievable it has a huge deck to sit on and enjoy morning coffee. ! Gibsons is beautiful little town. Michelle was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Will stay here again when we come back. Thank you

Slice of Heaven

This is the second time we have stayed at there property, first was lower portion, this time upper, and I must say amazing view. The house comes with everything needed from toilet paper to utensils. The house is very clean and inviting. Nice large deck with propane bbq, table, chairs, and loungers which is great to have meals outside. The beach is a very short walk away, can pick berries daily, and for us the tide was absolutely perfect timing, on the lowest tide day, was the lowest tide we have ever seen in the 8 times we have been to the sunshine coast, so many sea creatures to find such as starfish, snails, mussels etc. The location is very close to the ocean, aswell very close to the ferries. Its really a perfect location. Michael is great to deal with and very knowledgeable when it comes to surrounding places, trails, lakes, etc. We would absolutely stay with them again in a heartbeat. Plenty to do for the entire family, which included a 12,14, and 16 yr old kids in our case. They enjoyed every minute of being there. Cons: infact there is 0 cons, this is more of a heads up for anyone wondering. 1. NO AC, which isnt a bid deal, there fan, curtain etc. 2. No cable or satelite, and tv is NOT a smart, so cant put the netflix or disney plus on it. Cant say enough how great it was to connect with you guys again and stay in your place again. We wouldn't think twice when staying with you guys next time we are in the area.

Amazing view from dining & living room & balcony! Great for families with young kids as it’s close to the beach and has games, puzzles, books & toys to keep them entertained. Full kitchen amenities and great patio to enjoy the view and meal! Host was amazing with responses and tips! We really felt well taken care of.

Enjoyed Gibsons

The view is amazing and that's what sold us on making this choice. There is no air conditioning and the main rooms have skylights, this made it very hot the first couple of nights. There is no cable vision which I don't know if it stated that in the ad or not. Driveway is a bit tricky for a longer vehicle. We did however enjoy our stay and it was fairly quiet. The beds were comfortable and there was lots of room. The owner was very accommodating

Sunshine Coast Gem

This was one of our best VRBO experiences. Michael and Ozgur were wonderful hosts and their place exceeded our expectations. The view from the upper deck is exceptional. We didn't get to meet Ozgur but Michael was there with great help on the best the Sunshine Coast has to offer.

More than they list

The property as an overall was pretty damn great. The property owner, Michael was very kind and generous with his time and conversation. It’s beyond close to the ferry terminal which only made for epic views at night when ferries would break the darkness with such colorful lights. Great patio and loving room views as well. Be warned that the parking is actually quite steep and no more than two vehicles are really possible. Will book again!

Michael is from the West Coast (via Chile) and Ozgur is from Turkey originally. We have both traveled the world and prefer staying at vacation rental places whenever/wherever is possible.

We are community-oriented people; love meeting new people from all corners of life. We enjoy mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, arts and photography which you get the best of all here on the Sunshine Coast! As avid travelers & parents, we know what families look for while vacationing: very clean, comfortable and enjoyable place for all generations with less breakables, books, toys & board games to keep little ones occupied and a fully equipped kitchen with everything necessary for cooking where you can make yourself 'home' - away from home :)

We bought this property because it offers so many lifestyle options for us. There is so much to do in the area for us and our children. When we want to do nothing, we can just stare out forever at the magical view, even during the storm!

It is walking distance to the ferry (8-10 minutes). Downtown Vancouver is ~1.5 hours away from our doorstep, which includes the ferry ride and an express bus right downtown. We love having access to the beach and the mountains -- long walks, kayaking to nearby islands, beach-combing, hiking & excellent mountain biking. Gibsons Landing is only 4 km away. We can zoom into town in minutes to grab a hot coffee and croissant, catch a movie, or go for dinner at a bunch of great restaurants.
