Shoreside är en kustfastighet med enastående öppen utsikt över havet till Lake District bergen. I den lugna, vackra byn Powfoot är det ett nyligen renoverat viktoriansk sandstenhus med två våningar. Det stora sovrummet med utsikt över havet har en lyxig dubbelsäng och ett andra sovrum har bekväma enkelsängar. Ett rymligt familjebadrum har jacuzzi och dusch. En femte person kan sova på en bäddsoffa i det mysiga vardagsrummet som vetter mot havet som har en vedeldad spis. Huset har ett välutrustat, modernt kök / matsal. En terrass i trädgården drar nytta av kustlandskapet medan bakifrån finns en uteplats och en liten privat trädgård. Ett stort garage erbjuder förvaring för utomhus- och sportutrustning. Välskötta hundar är välkomna och offroadparkering finns. TV, DVD, gratis wifi.

Short winter break

Best family stay

Such a great week in The prettiest wee cottage and village by the sea

Well equipped, tastefully decorated, comfortable beds ,very welcoming, great location, open the front gate, cross the single track road and you're on the beach also local hotel does amazing food just perfect!

Weekend trip

Easy process of booking and payment. Excellent information about the house and surrounding area. Lovely location and our grandsons had a great time on the beach and in the play park. Fabulous house so comfortable.

Views are amazing

The house was very roomy had everything you needed,especially the views.The village is very well kept with flowers and plenty of dog poo bins and its just so relaxing and peaceful.Plenty of walks around beach and woods.

Quiet and peaceful

A very nicely refurbished cottage with all necessary equipment and appliances. 50 metres walk to the mostly deserted beach. Not much to do in Powfoot itself, so driving is essential. Caravan park cafe very good and Powfoot hotel good if you don't have a dog.

Relaxing stay

Excellent view of the Solway, Pennines and the Lakes. Annan is a good place to get supplies and great walk by the river for the dogs. Easy walking from front door for our elderly mother. Will be back.

Peaceful break

The house was great, good sized rooms, comfy sofas and beds. Very well equipped kitchen with nice crockery. Terrific views from living room and bedroom. Powfoot is a quiet village, no shops but plenty of walks.

Absolutely perfect holiday cottage

Luxury accommodation right beside the sea. The attention to detail in the cottage is amazing- from large comfortable bed and bathroom, to bin bags and cling film! And the icing on this cake is the wood burning stove ! And the impressive views of course . Altogether a wonderful place and we will definitely be back!

Carol met me at designated time. - very friendly and helpful. There was a welcome pack of oatcakes, cheese, Prosecco , milk and ice lollies! Cottage very well presented throughout! My sons and wife/partner will be back, and it’s dog friendly!!

Tranquil and homely

Beautiful victorian terrace with all modern conveniences and spotlessly clean. Everything we needed was there in the kitchen and space in garage for the bikes. Awesome jacuzzi bath and beautifully decorated. Handy dishwasher. Fabulous contact with owner prior to arrival and lovely welcome pack-thank you for a lovely stay and we will certainly be back in 2021.

Our stay at Shoreside in Powfoot

We chose to stay at Shoreside as my wife and I were celebrating our Golden Wedding Anniversary with a Marriage Blessing at Gretna Green. From the moment we arrived and met Carol to the last moment, our stay was absolutely magical. The property was immaculately presented with plenty of space and comfortable and comprehensive fixtures and fittings. From waking up to spectacular views across the Solway Firth from our bedroom window, irrespective of the weather conditions, walks along the shore and around the pretty village which we and our 2 dogs Toby & Tess thoroughly enjoyed to luxuriating in the bubbles of the spa bath, our whole stay has given many, many memories of a very special trip. We are determined to visit the area again and I would urge others to do the same and give Shoreside a visit,

Family holiday

Fantastic place to stay. powfoot great for dogs and kids. So much to do, did not have to drive anywhere for the 5 days there. There is min golf and bowling on the green next door to street. Our boys loved it there playing. Lots of wood walks and beach is fantastic as well. There is 2 parks and small football field as well.There is the hotel and caravan site along beach road. For food and drink. The cottage is fantastic, so homely. Home from home, our host. Left some lovely treats for boys and milk and cheese, thank you for that. The locals are so nice to talk to. Our oldest son who is austic, has trouble sleeping other places and can be a nightmare. He slept like a log all nights in his own bed. So we had a good night sleep to. We have booked for next year again, for our family holiday. As we enjoyed it so much. I can say the cottage and powfoot is fantastic for austic children. Thank you so much for the best holiday we have had for years ❤️

Lovely shoreside vacay

We had a wonderful time. The house is very well-kept, and there are many things to do in the area. The hostess gave us lots of great suggestions, leaving a book filled with information. Highly recommend!

Everything you needed . Comfy cosy clean with excellant views. Prime location

Loved this place. What a beautiful property and village . The birdwatching is wonderful just from the window. Saw deer on the beach once and every day in the nearby woods and golf course. Played mini golf and bowls every evening. The community have the village immaculate. The beach is incredible. Great base for visiting historic sites. The house is beautiful withcomfy beds , luxery towels and bedding , great powerful shower , good internet and everything you need. Ideal for our wee dog or children with the fenced in front and rear garden , obvious beach and outdoor hose for washing off mud. The addition of a garage meant no dirty or wet outdoor gear in the house.

Comfortable well equipped cottage with fantastic views

Cottage was really spacious and had everything you could need for a short break away. The views from the cottage are just stunning and our dog could not get enough of the salt marshes. Amazing hotel 5 minutes walk away. We will definitely return!
