Great location in Nice

We stayed in the flat for about three weeks and loved it.The apartment faces a quiet and bright courtyard. Lots of natural light. The building is about three blocks off the main shopping street with easy access to the tram and train station. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment is on the top floor and there is no elevator in the building so it’s quiet but you do get a workout.. worthwhile trade off for us.It’s about a 20 minute walk to the seafront and maybe a little further to old town. The Chagall museum is close by and the Matisse museum is another 20 minutes uphill, on foot.. but also easily reached by bus.Just a great central location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great location, authentic French apartment

Really enjoyed staying here, a 'proper' French apartment. Useful recommendations for the markets, boulangeries, restaurants. Location is outside the main 'touristy' areas yet in easy walking distance of Nice-Ville station, tram and bus. Quiet, well equipped, would stay again.

Super expérience

L'appartement de Colette est charmant et agréable, bien équipé et bien situé, non loin du coeur de la ville. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour et avons beaucoup apprécié la qualité et facilité d'échanges en cas de besoin. Merci encore pour cette expérience qui a rendu notre installation à Nice plus aisée !

Great place

Great location. Close to the tram so it is easy to get to the beach and about a 10 minute walk from the Niceville train station. Otherwise a clean place to stay with a nice living space and good AC. Colette also is very helpful with any inquiries about trains etc. Would recommend.

Superbe appartement, parfait pour un couple. Très bien équipé qu calme avec les climatisation

L'appartement est très bien situé. J ai pu en bénéficier avec ma femme durant plus d un mois en y faisant du télétravail la semaine et profitant de Nice et ces alentours les soirs et les weekends. Je recommande, Colette s'occupé très bien du lieu.

Nice apartment, some negative aspects

All in all I appreciated the stay. The apartment is well equipped and in the near you find alot of little shops to buy day-by-day things. It's very near to the main station and the beach is only 2 stations by tramway. 2 things I did not appreciate so much are the little bathroom which should be renovated. In this state it must be constantly aired by the window. The second thing iwas the handover of the keys. I had a train delay of 2 hours which upsetted her to the point that she reproached me on the telephone that she could now not do her plans with her son. Also, when she came to the apartment she was still upset and constantly told me that her day was over. This was absolutely not ok and tarnished the following days. Hence my honest valuation is three stars.

Für diesen Preis gut

Wir waren im August 2020 dort und können die Unterkunft empfehlen. Für diesen Preis ausreichend. Die Sauberkeit, gerade was den Boden angeht, war nicht so gut, musste nochmal wischen aber das war schnell erledigt. Schön ist, dass es viele Handtücher etc gibt, die man nicht umständlich mitbringen muss. Auf jeden Fall sollte man etwas Waschmittel mitbringen, damit man nicht ein ganzes Paket kaufen muss, das man dann doch dort ließe.. Die Anbindung ist super. Bahn und Zug fußläufig sehr gut erreichbar.

vacation in NIce

The property has a very good location - walking distance to Nice-Ville train station (10 min max), walking distance to the beach, etc. Very clean. Very good internet connection - it was important to me. The owner (Colette) greeted us upon arrival and explain everything about property, and surroundings. We would definitely come back at some point.

Nice and really clean

The house was really good and clean. However there were some difficulties in the communication with the lady who is responsible for the cleaning and the keys. She did not speak English only French and we should use google translate to communicate. Generally, the house was really comfortable. Thank you Marie for the hospitality

Spacious, excellent location and generally very comfortable

Spacious, well=appointed and quiet apartment in excellent location, close to train station and tram stop, though immediate neighborhood is not all that flash. Makes for a generally very comfortable stay though shower is cramped and could do with at least a stick-on soap holder. Owner's local representative speaks limited English so some French is an advantage.

Ideal base for exploring Nice and beyond.

This is a lovely apartment, ideal for 2 adults and well-equipped with everything you might need. It is less than 10 minutes walk to the mainline railway station (Nice Ville), tram and bus stops. It is possible to catch a bus direct to/from the airport. There are several local boulangeries and small supermarkets, as well as cafes and restaurants. The apartment is also within walking distance of the Old Town and seafront. The owner is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended.
