Our Stay

The house was wonderful, unfortunately I reached out daily about the dryer not working that didnt get resolved during our stay there. It was more than enough room for our family we really enjoyed our time there.

Week long stay

We stayed in the house for a whole week for our wedding. House was super big, bigger then I expected. Very beautiful house. Does need a face lift you can tell its a rental property. Stained carpet, dirty walls, some broken items but were not super picky and really only need the house for sleeping. Besides it needing a face lift it was a great place to stay of your not boujee.

I have been renting thru VRBO for the past 7 years. This is the worst rental property so far. We had 20 guests in our party., so let me just get right to the point: not enough utensils, only 7 dinner forks, 3-4 tea spoons, no soup spoons, but plenty of knives no cooking utensils, only some grill accessories which we did not need. No pots or pans, the coffee maker(hot water pot) broken- we wound up buying pots, pans, coffee pot, soup spoons. One of the refrigerator shelves broken(part of the left door) table glass top broken and left in a closet not enough towels, blankets or pillows some beds in very bad shape - one would just fall into it the was no light in one of the bathrooms ( the breaker could not be reset, just kept on tripping) some chairs in a very poor condition- legs very wabbly the game room - pool table only had one cue and the fabric was ripped, foozball table would drop the ball every time someone scored and you had to chase the ball all over the garage, I called the management to report all of the following on two separate occasions. Never received a call back. The pictured property is not what it seems. I would never rent this property again a concerned customer

BEWARE

The title of this rental says "Luxury", but this is the worst house we have ever rented on VRBO and that’s an understatement. We have rented many homes on VRBO and have never experienced a house in such poor condition and have never left a bad review before. The house was filthy from the baseboards and carpet to the walls, handrails and ceiling vents. There was broken furniture, broken closet doors and the inside door on the refrigerator was broken. Spa drain cover was broken/not secured (which is a significant safety hazard) as well as no locks on either pool screen door and the sliding glass door lock going out to the pool did not work, so we were never secure in the house. We went to pull the cord to turn on the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms and the glass light cover actually fell right down, which could have been very bad. The pool table had tears in the felt, the pool furniture was torn and missing cushions. limited cooking utensils, old pans and the list just goes on. We contacted the management company right away with the list of issues, to which they said that the owners were aware as they had reported all of the issues we were addressing, but the owners had not approved the expenses to make the repairs. The only response we got back from the owner was they would send a cleaner out the next day before 10am. We waited around and then were notified after 10am, that "something came up" and they could send someone out around 2pm. Seriously? We were not going to wait around longer and didn't want anyone in the house when we weren't there, so declined as that house needs FAR more than cleaning. The only good thing was the view in the back and we paid for heat for the pool/spa and that actually worked.The owners should not be able to rent this property until it is thoroughly cleaned, re-painted and in good repair.

Please Beware......

Upon arriving there was trash on the lawn and on the side of the property. There was trash in the pool and around the grounds of the lanai. Kitchen and bathroom floors were not swept, kitchen cabinets had food stuck and running down. Only one pool light came on. Walls and doors are dirty, a/c did not work properly was very hot on the lower level the entire stay. Most importantly my families safety and security was was in jeopardy being that the back door DID NOT LOCK. Nova Vacations the property management was contacted within an hour of us checking in and was told someone would be out, NO ONE EVER CAME. This was so the entire stay we called everyday and was told the same thing and nothing was ever done. A family member went and bought a broomstick and cut it to create a makeshift lock so that no one could just walk in on us. We spent over $100 on cleaning supplies to "reclean" the property and another $100 on pots and pans to cook with being that the ones there were disgusting. If we were not hosting family that had already came from out of town, we would have cancelled and went back home. Upon checking out we reached out to the management company to express our concerns about our stay and was advised that despite all the extra money we had to spend and our safety and security we would only be given our cleaning fees back. Please, please beware these owners don't care about you as long as you pay your money, the property management company is located in Canada so there is little that they can do. I will be escalating this until something is done. If you would like actual photos and video of this property before wasting your money reach out to me and I will personally send them to you. P.S Don't put the trash out at night there is a bad racoon problem and the trash will be torn up all over the front porch and lawn.

Would not recommend

The first night we arrived we tried to use the dryer and it did not work. We were told that the sheets and towels were cleaned on the premises…so we’re they actually clean sheets/towels we used?? I STILL do not have an answer! It took days to get a hold of someone and their response was to use a laundromat and they would reimburse us. I explained that was not acceptable as we were on a family vacation and leaving to do laundry was not feasible. We had packed according to be able to do laundry and nothing was resolved. We ended up washing our clothes and hanging it all around the pool area to dry (very trashy!). The pool area had broken glass and my husband’s foot was cut. The house was not cleaned well. Not enough silverware for the amount of people it can sleep. The cleaning personnel left trash bags at the street which animals got into. To say it was a disappointment is an understatement.

The property location was about the only thing that wasn’t slightly different from the actual property listing. The home is in poor condition. The bed frames are broken, chairs are broken, curtain rods were detached from the wall. The paint had so many scuffs and the wall had holes. The carpet was disgusting. I did not let me kids walk in the home without shoes. The upstairs bedrooms lose power. We constantly had to flip the breaker in the garage. It would not stay on for long. During our stay we saw two roaches. The front door area is filthy from garage being left out and raccoons digging into it over night. Do not recommend.

Great stay at Champions Gate!

Overall, the house was great. Good size with lots of room for our entire party of 17. Comfortable common areas for gathering. Plenty of beds for everyone in our party. The pool was great; enjoyed by both kids and adults. Champions Gate also has great amenities at its Oasis Club; gym, pools, meeting areas, bar. Upon arrival, there weren't nearly enough towels to accommodate our party; but this was quickly rectified once the property manger was notified. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Not what we expected

When we arrived the house had a dead cockroach in every single bathroom and the pool. The stairs’ walls were dirty. The bed comforts were old and one of them was torn. The TV downstairs wasn’t working. The microwave worked sometimes. Two good points were the beds which were confortable and the pool.

This property was terrible. Not clean. Pool not working.

We stayed at this property from 7/23-7/30 the property was not clean upon arrival. You can tell that they did a quick surface clean, but overall the house was nasty. Food was all over the walls and there was urine on the sides of the toilet. We had to clean and sanitize before we could unpack. There were even cobwebs everywhere. The biggest disappointment was that the pool was NOT clean nor working for the first 6 days. The dishwasher was broken and full of filthy water. They replaced it on the 6th day as well. The screen around the pool was ripped in 2 places. And the patio furniture was so torn it should have been on the side of the road. I had to call the property manager EVERYDAY. I’ve stayed at champions gate before but this property was deplorable. And the owners only refunded me the cleaning fee. Customer service was horrible. I will visit champion’s gate again but I will make sure that I won’t be renting from the same owners. They should be ashamed.

Good to be in Orlando

I was surprised that this wasn’t a gated community in the sense of a guard house and pass. You could tell that the houses on the street all served a similar purpose (short term rental.) This meant that there was a lot of traffic on the street. These aren’t criticisms. Just observations. The house was nice and our stay was enjoyable. As a VRBO host myself, I saw some of the little touches that made the property pop. Thanks for a good time!

The house was spacious and well decorated.

My family enjoyed the spacious living and the game room. The house was beautiful and the decor was as listed . The experience was an A however the ANTS was all over the kitchen. The exterminator can the next day which was nice.

The house was fantastic!

Beautiful and very nice house fully equipped in a residential area.This is a beautiful house: large, quiet, clean and nice neighborhood. It was one of the most beautiful houses that I been. Definitely glad to have pool heated , pool felt great. Our kids loved the pool! I would recommend renting this place .

We had a great trip!

It’s in a nice quiet neighborhood . Lots of space for a couple families to share. there’s an alarm for every entrance to the pool so there is no worry for young kids around it. Very close to shops and restaurants about 5 min drive. I loved it and will recommended very spacious and comfortable.

It was the most beautiful houses that I been!

The house is beautiful. The house is located in a very quiet neighborhood. Even better than the pictures in person. The bed was super comfy and we very much enjoyed our stay. Our family group was quite large, and this house still had room for more! We enjoyed our time at this house. Would stay here again in the future.

Gorgeous, clean, and spacious home!

Great location, nice amenities

It is a magical place for kids, very comfortable

It's a nice house.. a lot of things to do. The house is spacious .. i like the dining table it's big that we can all eat together. Our kids liked the game room and pool. Kitchen... is great we have more space to move around while cooking. It's near the clubhouse... The area is also near to all attractions like Disney and legoland. Me and my family loved the house.
