Lemp was OK

Clean, great location, safe, loved sheets/bedding/towels, shampoo/conditioner/soap dispensers, hair dryer. Would have liked Keurig coffee maker, kitchen towels, chair pads in dining rm, bathroom sprays, "bedroom on 1st flr" (there wasn't 1 and we were counting on it), steps not so steep for people w/ mobility issues, brighter tape on weird baby step on 2nd flr, clearer and earlier instructions for checkout. There were VERY rowdy outdoor parties 2 nights/early mornings of the weekend in neighbor's yard causing nights with no sleep.

Vibrant Downtown Escape Rocks

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable for 3 couples. This location was fantastic, walking distance to restaurants and a local brew pub.

Hosts sent prompt clear communication. My guest and I were pleased with our stay. Nice up to date home with plenty of space. Home was as clean as I’d expect a hotel to be. Home came with cleaning supplies including laundry detergent and bleach.

Great place to stay!

The property was extremely clean and beds were very comfortable. It was nice having 3 bathrooms and the kitchen area was nice with a lot of room. The living room was a little small. It was super convenient for our wedding and other events in the downtown area. Parking was fine too. The major drawback for this property is the stairs. They are extremely steep but worked fine for our group of able bodied adults and children over 6 years old. I would not want to have toddlers here. There was plenty of hot water for showers but the kitchen did not have hot water. Warning - the downstairs hot water in the bathroom is scalding. We could have used another dish towel in the kitchen too. It would also have been nice to have a bathroom on the third level with that bedroom. This location worked great for our purposes!

Quiet setting on Lemp Avenue. Property 98% clean but mildew in one of the baths. A/C not working on top floor after first night. We enjoyed our stay overall!

Should a VRBO come with mice?

I have added my review somewhere else but the nutshell is that there were mice. I sent recordings of the mice to the VRBO and owner. We left our stay earlier as we were not comfortable with the mice.

Great place and downtown location

My family of 6 stayed here for 4 nights over Spring Break this year with ages ranging from 6-adult. The location was great for what we wanted to do regarding the city museum, Budweiser tour and Zoo. Not a lot going on in this location regarding restaurants and entertainment but felt like a safe neighborhood. Had to drive to suburbs for some entertainment stuff like Dave and Buster's, shopping and bowling alley. The place itself was very clean, all updated and perfect for our stay. There are five really nice sized and comfortable beds. The bathrooms are spacious and well stocked. Kitchen is perfect and dinner table seats our family nice. Nice big fridge, oven and microwave. Only negatives I would say is you share a wall with your neighbors so if they are loud, you do hear them. We only had one night with this issue. Parking is a little tight but you have some dedicated spots which are nice. They aren't labeled though so anyone can use them. The upstairs attic space does get awful hot because it is controlled by the heat on the 2nd floor. The TV's do not have any sort of cable provider so you have to stream everything which was a little frustrating. All in all a very nice stay and the host was excellent with communication.

Clean and lots of sleep space

The home was clean and had plenty of sleeping to accommodate our large group. The steps are steep, but manageable, the 3rd floor is definitely warmer than the rest of the house, but otherwise, it was great. Three bathrooms, so no issues getting ready, open kitchen area, plenty of dishes, cups, utensils, etc., overall, a good stay. Would stay there again.

Responsive owner

Overall there were some issues experienced with the initial booking but the owner himself responded to our call and appropriately handled the concern. While we experienced a inconvience, our needs were ultimately addressed and we were able to have an enjoyable weekend.

LOVED our stay!! The location was super close to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Only thing we wanted that wasn't in the kitchen was a grater. No biggie though.
