Cozy getaway

We loved the property and all the little thoughtful amenities that were provided along with it. We enjoyed a quiet fire and felt very relaxed. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

We so loved this charming property. Plenty of space inside however we spent most of our time in the magical courtyard/garden. Easy walk into town. We will be back :-)

It was ok

I didn't love my stay. They tried really hard to make it nice but it just felt a bit junky and cluttered. There was lots of comparable accommodation available in Margaret River and I chose this place because of the advertised fireplace. There is no fireplace, there is a fire pit. I got COVID 24hours into our stay which totally ruined it for me. I have no way to know where I caught it but dust around the bedroom and under the bed, left me feeling like it wasn't clean enough. Our bad luck didn't finish there, the internet was out due to a recent lightning strike so we couldn't access any streaming services on TV or get online. The electrics need attention, the power board in the "kitchen" constantly trips, there isn't enough lighting, and the switches and power points are in awkward places. There weren't any hand towels provided, and only 1 towel each for the whole week. This seems unnecessary stingy. The kitchen set up was a bit limited, which probably wouldn't have bothered me as much if we could go out to eat. Overall it was a pretty miserable holiday, and even though it was not all the fault of our accommodation choice, I still wouldn't stay there again.

Great for a holibop

Excellent for a couple or small group of friends. Property has all the essentials and location is perfect for access to Main Street cafes, pubs & shops. Very clean. Thank you Cathy we enjoyed your property very much and will be back.

Comfort and charm

We enjoyed staying in this charming cottage very much. It has everything you want, is comfortable and quiet and well located with the main town an easy walk. The outdoor area is gorgeous although weather did not permit us to use it. Check in was very simple. I’ll definitely be back.

Great location! Clean and comfy

Clean and comfortable, very close to town center, but opposite a school so road gets busy during drop off and pickup times. Secure yard for the fur baby, and overall a very enjoyable stay! Perfect size for a couple or small family.

Second Stay at the Break Away

Stayed here for the second time this year. First time was for my birthday 6 months ago. It’s the perfect location, easy walk to to main road and farmers market on Saturday. Cathy remembered my name from last visit and communications with her was prompt and easy. We made use of the 10% VIP card at Morries down the road which I highly recommend if you like Tapas and cocktails. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering booking a stay here.

Two big bedrooms, with comfy beds, large bathroom, small kitchen but who cooks when they are on holidays anyway, more then adequate for holiday needs...cosy lounges, nice outlook with nice spot for sitting outside reading ...easy short walk into town for shopping and dining...

Delightful and close to town

Cathys property was delightful and perfect for us. It was a short walk to the Main Street of town, had a lovely relaxing garden (including hammock) and all the amenities you could need. Highly recommend this place. Thanks Cathy.
