We had a lovely stay overall! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning—you can see the beach and the boardwalk access, which was a real highlight. The unit itself was spotless and very clean upon arrival.That said, there were a few areas for improvement. The guest bedroom mattress was extremely uncomfortable—it sagged in the middle and made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. The comforters also seemed quite worn and in need of replacing. The guest bathroom had some issues too; the shower wouldn’t work if the master shower was running, and there was an unpleasant odor.The master bedroom was much better—the bed was comfortable—but it would’ve been nice to have extra pillows in the closet and more than just two towels provided. There were no extra towels for the beach or pool, and no beach gear (like chairs or umbrellas) was included. The unit is fairly basic, and while it was comfortable for the most part, it’s definitely missing a few thoughtful touches.A welcome binder with information about local attractions, restaurants, and activities would have been helpful—most rentals in the area include something like this, but this one did not. It also lacked small essentials like detergent, sugar, salt, and coffee filters, which we've found in other units at this property.One concern was the lack of a secondary lock or latch on the front door, which made us feel a bit uneasy in terms of security.The check-in process was also a bit confusing.
