Agréable séjour

Perfect location

The complex is perfect for families, with a quiet gated community, idyllic large pool & location near Albufeira Old Town. Would recommend a car to explore Agarve. Underground parking a bonus. View from the balcony the picture of summer holiday. Mark & Karen could not have been better hosts. Highly recommend.

Not what we expected or were promised

The check in process was more difficult than it should have been. The apartment, although clean and in a very good area, needs to be updated. This is not our first VRBO and we were very disappointed with the "staples" that were left: no coffee pods, no bar soap, very few towels and no beach towels; very little toilet paper or paper towels or kleenex- all of which we had to buy within one day. The promised underground parking never happened because we never received the Fob which would have opened the outer gate as well as the Garage door- we had to walk up to 1 1/2 blocks to our car. The safe was locked when we arrived and when we requested the code from the owner he could not supply it. All-in-all, not what we would come back to.

Lovely

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was close enough to Old Town and the beach to easily walk there but the property itself was very quiet and peaceful.

Beautiful views from a sunny balcony.

Had a lovely sunny festive visit. The balcony literally got the sun from rise until set. A very quiet neighborhood set amongst some lovely villas, the apartment is perched high up offering excellent sea and marina views.if you are reasonably fit, the 15 minute walk into town is very hilly, though manageable. I would recommend renting a car for the transfer (only 10 euros more than taxi) to get your shopping at Aldi or Lidl (under 10 min drive, but a fair old hike on foot). Secure parking is easy to use, even without the electronic fob. The complex has two large pools, although none was using them on our visit, with plenty of space. The tennis racquets were a nice touch allowing us to play a few games in the tennis court which is two minutes from the front door. Missing the sun and view already!

Perfect Apartment

The apartment is even better than the pictures. Complete kitchen, air conditioning, great balcony, and great location. The sofa-cama is ok, if you have small kids (up to ~6 year old). The host was really kind, and ontime on our checking. GREAT PLACE!

I didn't want to leave

The owners could not have been more helpful or gracious hosts. The condo was perfect for my husband and I. We sat out on the balcony every night and used the pool a couple of times. A market and old town albufeira are within walking distance. I was very sorry to leave. I could've easily spent weeks in the area. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Using Home and Away for the first time everything turned out smoothly and will be using them again

Stayed at this beautiful apartment just on 2nd Sept 2017 for one week had a great time everything you needed for your holiday was there hairdryer ,straightners ,umbarellas for pool , towels for sunbeds views were amazing used balcony for morning coffee and as you got sun all day was good for late afternoon sun also complex was imaculate pool was amazing only couple of wee things hill was a bit steep but soon got used to it the other thing was could have done with 2 sets of keys as was scared going up and down to pool i would leave it in apartment but thanks to Mark and Karen had a great stay and me and my husband will be back in the future

annonce frauduleuse

premiérement l'appartement ne fait que 50 m² et non 100m² . le canapé lit est cassé;ce qui fait que l'appartement n'est conçu que pour 2 personnes et non trois.le congelateur est cassé et il y a trés peu de vaisselle. il faut aussi payer pour la wifi.de plus le propriétaire de l'appartement vit dans la résidence et vous surveille.on ne se sent pas en vacances.a fuir HORRIBLE

Great place for holidays

It's been a pleasure staying at Mark and Karen's place! The apartment had stunning views to the sea, the swimming pool was amazing and they were very flexible in terms of timings, much appreciated! Thanks a lot Mark and Karen! Will definitely come back!

Lovely apartment and balcony in great complex

We stayed here in July/August and were very impressed. Lovely pool and sea view. Very hilly walking around though as it's very high up! Taxi from old town was about 7€ At night. Will be back.

Perfect holiday, stunning apartment loved every minute.

We had a wonderful stay in Albufeira, the apartment is a perfect base, beautifully decorated, stunning views and a lovely complex. We would definitely re visit and highly recommend it as a holiday choice to others. Thanks Mark and Karen

Wonderful apartment

Wonderful apartment, in a lovely area, the views over the marina are beautiful. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and beautifully decorated. All communication with Karen and Mark was a pleasure, so helpful, will return again. The area is quiet and relaxing, walking distance to beach front and restaurants, a steep walk back up but if you walk up past the main square there are taxis and cost around €4 so not so bad after a meal or night out. On our last day we took a Tuk Tuk trip it was great fun and well worth it, Paulo our driver showed us 3 beaches off the beaten track with lovely sand, wished we had found them at the beginning. Great holiday, enjoyed every minute.
