Myriam & Mathieu välkomna dig till "L'Atelier". Detta tidigare inramning och målning verkstad har renoverats under 2012 och erbjuder en mix av sin ursprungliga "industriell stil" med traditionella trämöbler. Stora fönster öppna upp i trädgården för att låta massor av Provence solsken i. Som cykling och vandring entusiaster, kommer vi att ha massor av tips och kartor för att ge dig så att du kan njuta fullt ut Provence naturskatter. Myriam är utbildad lärare i franska, och ger franska klasser på begäran. Mathieu är som driver en vinbutik, guidar dig genom de bästa vingårdarna i området.

Fabulous location

Lovely self contained apartment with plenty of outside space, the rear courtyard is private . Easy walking distance to the centre and close by free parking. The host was lovely

hot with mosquitoes

We were not able to stay in this property because the we arrived it was so hot and there were so many mosquitoes. We were bitten immediately inside the apartment. There is no air conditioner and you can't open the windows because of the mosquitoes. The owner sprayed the apartment and asked us to come back but we did not want to come to an apartment that had just been sprayed. If there were screens and some ceiling fans it would be helpful. The grass had not been mowed which may have made the problem worse. The owner is nice and the apartment is fine but the mosquito problem is a big problem especially in the heat. If mosquitoes like you this might not be the place.

Great location, beautiful, clean but lacking home

This house is in a great location with the city on walking distance and a reasonably quiet street. The apartment itself is beautiful with more than enough room for four adults inside and outside the house. There are three sitting areas outside which you can use, what a pity there were only enough chaircushions for the little round table. We didn't use the big table at the front of the house because there weren't enough cushions for the iron chairs. Same can be said for the chairs & lounge set on the patio. The kitchen, though beautiful and modern) was understocked on cutlery, utensils & wine glasses meaning we had to wash them all the time. We only had one drying towel & hand towel in the kitchen & one large towel each for drying ourselves. When it is stated that linnen is provided guests expect more. The matresses and pillows on the beds were of very poor quality. The pool is a great place to cool off after a morning of exploring the area, it is also well maintained. The poolbeds are a nice addition but once again there weren't any cushions. We only spoke to the owners when there was a problem, otherwise you don't see them often. Instructions could also be in English to make it easier for foreign guests, perhaps a list of nearby shops. We did enjoy ourselves and made good use of the apartment. It has a lot of potential to be an even better place to stay. I would go here again hoping there are a few changes to make it better than it already is.

Déception

La région est magnifique et le gîte est bien situé, proche du centre-ville et un magasin bio à 100m. Nous avons eu des travaux dans la rue toute la durée de notre séjour… pas facile de se détendre au bord de la piscine avec le bruit des machines. On est mal tombés au niveau de la période. En ce qui concerne la communication, nous avons été accueilli en 2 min top chrono car la propriétaire était pressée. Elle nous a dit que nous pouvions la contacter si on avait des questions. Nous lui avons envoyé plusieurs messages et nous n'avons jamais obtenu de réponse à nos questions. Le lendemain fin de journée, nous avons appris par les personnes qui occupaient la maison des propriétaires que les propriétaires étaient partis via Homexchange. Nous n'avons plus eu de contact avec la propriétaire depuis "l'accueil" Nous déplorons également un manque important de propreté. Il y avait de nombreuses toiles d'araignées et araignées présentes entre les poutres du plafond, énormément de poussières dans les coins, sur les plinthes, dans les prises électriques, sur les sommiers. La bouilloire était inutilisable car elle était pleine de calcaire. L'annonce sur airbnb indiquait une table de ping-pong qui est complètement cassée et donc inutilisable. L'appartement est grand et spacieux, la literie est bonne, la piscine est agréable mais à la fin du séjour, il y avait un dépôt verdâtre dans le fond de la piscine (manque d'entretien ?). Un four à micro-onde serait intéressant à installer.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé 10j dans cette location cet été, avec nos 2 enfants. Tout s'est très bien passé. La location est bien et la piscine est très agréable. Et la région très belle!!

Chouette séjour

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. La maison est bien aménagée, le quartier est calme. La propriétaire sympathique. Nous reviendrons certainement dans la région. Seul bémol nous avons eu beaucoup de moustiques.

Mässig zufrieden

Check in schwierig. Metalltor anstatt rot jetzt neu grau. Angegebener vierstelliger Code ok aber ohne Anmerkung, dass dann noch * nötig ist. Ganze Wohnung ohne Produkte wie WC-Papier, Salz, Zucker, Tee, Kaffee oder ein Willkommensgruss - einfach nichts. Geschirr, Bettzeug und Matratzen etwas in die Jahre gekommen, einiges müsste ersetzt werden. Wir hatten unüblich kalte Tage und daher auch sehr sehr kalt in Wohnung (Parterre, keine Teppiche). Lage perfekt und ruhig.

Prima woning, mooi zwembad en prachtige omgeving

We hebben 1,5 week hier verbleven. Vaison en omgeving zijn zeker de moeite waard. Huisje was netjes en voorzien van een mooie ruime keuken. Slaapkamers waren prima. Matras van één 2-persoonsbed was te zacht voor ons. Vaatwasser zullen sommigen waarderen. Voor ons is dat overigens geen must. Prima contact met en service van de eigenaresse. Indien we weer naar deze regio gaan, komen we graag terug.

vakantie in Vaison-la-Romaine

Wij hebben 1 week als echtpaar met hun dochter doorgebracht in het huis, gelegen bij het centrum van de oude stad met zijn romeinse opgravingen en een middeleeuws gedeelte aan de andere zijde van de rivier. Het huis was schoon en ook het zwembad was prima onderhouden. Zowel in schaduw als in de zon zitten was mogelijk. Eigenaresse hield alles op een prettige manier in de gaten. Aangenaam verblijf geweest.

Généralement satisfait

La maison est situé à +- 500 m du centre de Vaison-la-Romaine et donc la ville ainsi que le quartier médiéval est facilement accessibles L'appartement est bien équipé, seul la pièce avec télé est extrêmement petite. Malheureusement la terrasse arrière est un peu délaissée. Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute lors de problèmes. Le pool est bien adapté aux enfants de chaque âge.

Vaison-La-Romaine FeWo für 4 Personen

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön möbliert, teilweise schön aufgearbeitete alte Möbel. Die Betten in den beiden Schlafzimmern sind modern und gut. Gemütliche Küche mit eindrucksvollem Herd. 3-geteiltes Badezimmer: Toilette, Dusche, Waschbecken - Diese Lösung hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Pool ist klein, aber sehr gepflegt. Der Gartenbereich mit der Tischtennisplatte könnte noch einmal aufgeräumt werden. Die Nähe zum Zentrum (es gibt einen schönen Weg abseits der Straße, an der Kathedrale vorbei) ist genial. Wir würden wiederkommen.

Ferienwohnung in ausgezeichneter Lage

Die Nähe zur Stadt mit den Geschäften und Restaurants ist das große Plus dieser Ferienwohnung. Dabei ist die Wohnung ruhig gelegen. Abstriche gibt es bei der Ausstattung der Küche, dem völlig zugestellten hinteren Garten und dem Wohnbereich, der nur aus einem Sofa und einem Sessel besteht. Insgesamt trotz der Abstriche eine gute Adresse.

Fijne plek in Vaison la Romaine

We hebben 2 heerlijke weken gehad. We waren met 2 personen en qua slaapplaatsen is het geschikt voor 5 personen. De ruimte in het zitkamertje is voor 5 personen te klein. Voor 2 of 3 personen goed. Wat we in deze ruimte wel hebben gemist is een klein tafeltje om je glas op te zetten. De keuken is gezellig. Serviesgoed is voldoende.Het terras aan de achterzijde zou iets meer verzorgd mogen zijn. Aan de voorzijde ligt een heerlijk zwembad met fijne ligstoelen en schaduwplekjes. Je auto kun je op het parkeerterrein 50 m verderop parkeren. Bij dat parkeerterrein is ook een fijne biologische supermarkt waar je alles kunt kopen, ook heerlijk brood. In minder dan 10 minuten zit je middenin het centrum van Vaison. Een fijn huis en leuke omgeving en sympathieke eigenaren!!

I am an English and French teacher. I lived in the UK for 10 years before moving to the south of France in 2007. I owned and ran somes gites & B&B in Cairanne. The location was fabulous but isolated and having two children, I decided in 2012 to move to Vaison la Romaine which is great for its easy access to schools, shops, market...without the hassle of a big city
One of the greatest assets of Vaison it that it is also completely sheltered from the northerly, blustery Mistral!

Varför värden valde detta boende

The house dates from the 30's and has plenty of charm. It is surrounded by a large enclosed garden planted with mature trees and plants as well as a good sized pool.
The property is at walking distance from all the major attractions such as the Cathedral with its cloister and the famous Roman bridge. The medieval town and all the roman sites are 10mn away on foot at the most.
The place is close to everything you need (restaurants, cafés, shops) you can also go for great walks from the house without having to rely on the car. It is all the more enjoyable on market day on Tuesdays. Avignon is a 40-minute drive (the famous performing arts festival is in July) For sporty days, cyclists can conquer the legendary Mont Ventoux (30 km) and the Dentelles de Montmirail (10 km).

The apartment has 2 terraces, one south facing to enjoy the sun during spring, and another one at the back when you are looking for shelter from the sun. You will enjoy the flat's large windows that let the sunlight in.
The accommodation is equipped with a large kitchen where you would want to spend time cooking in using its gas cooking range; the French door leads to a terrace where you will find an eating area with its barbecue facilities. Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning.
The property also has a pool where you can relax by anytime you want.
