En nyrenoverad bungalow med tre sovrum i centrum av Wells-next-the-Sea.

Avocet View ligger på Freeman Street i centrum av Wells-next-the-sea, bara några minuters promenad från kajen, och har en underbar öppen utsikt över lekplatsen till tallskogen i fjärran.

Vackert renoverat med semesterfirare främst i åtanke, är bungalow bedrägligt rymlig och obefläckat presenterad i en modern strandstil. Med ett modernt, välutrustat utrustat kök, ett bekvämt vardagsrum med "utsikten" och matplats och tre sovrum (två king-size och en tvilling), och två badrum, visar Avocet View sig vara en favorit hos familjer, par och vänner under hela året. Utanför finns en liten privat innergård och en parkeringsplats för en bil.

Trots den närhet till staden är bungalowen lugnt bort och är en härlig lugn tillflyktsort att återvända till i slutet av en hektisk dag ute och utforska allt som erbjuds i denna vackra del av North Norfolk.

Lovely place to stay, the homes was clean and tidy, very central to all amenities, The only thing is we like bath towels so if you are also people that like biath towels you need to take your own

Love this cottage

This is our 5th time at Avocet View and we just love it here. The location is perfect for us because it’s close to the Quay and all the shops/ cafe in Wells. We also love that you look out over the park so I can watch our older children playing football whilst having a nice cup of tea in the warm. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are really comfortable. I managed to cook a Christmas Dinner whilst we were here no problem. We will deffo be back.

A lovely place to stay in Wells.

We have stayed at Avocet view twice now, we find it very well equipped, warm and comfortable. It is well positioned close to the quay and restaurant’s. We hope to be returning soon.

Ideal Bungalow in a great location

Comfortable family cottage in the heart of Wells Next Sea

We have had another wonderful stay at Avocet. This is our 3rd stay here and we just love the location, being so close to the town is fab. We also like that you look out over the bottom end of the park so my older boys can play football and we can watch from the comfort of the front room. Avocet itself is comfortable and has all that is required for a pleasant holiday. Love it here and will not hesitate to book again.

Comfortable and convenient

Avocet View was not as it seemed. From the outside it looked a very small place but once inside the front door it grew and grew with 3 large bedrooms (one en-suite), a bathroom, kitchen and lounge diner. It was very well equipped with everything you could need, it certainly felt that you were home from home. The beds were very comfortable and even though it is on a main road our sleep wasn't interrupted at all. The owner has left lots of leaflets with information of what's on in Norfolk which was very useful for us. The apartment is situated in a very enviable spot just along from the quayside so is convenient for anything/anywhere that you want to do in Wells The only drawback for us was that it only has one car parking space, however the other people in our party were able to park in the road just outside the apartment. Other than that there is a car park just across the road. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and can't wait to return.

Lovely holiday destination

Three adults and a dog.

Three adults and the dog. Great location can walk to town or beaches. Good base to venture along the coast in either direction. Outside appearance does no justice to the inside. Have stayed in cottages in the Uk over 20 years and this by far the best we ever had. Nice touch of the welcome pack.

Great location, clean, good facilities

Avocet is ideally located right in the centre of Wells. There is a great bakery a short walk away and loads of places to eat. The house was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable and the house had a nice family feel about it. It suited us - a family of four with grandparents. In the kitchen maybe a pair of tongs and some oven trays would've been helpful and a larger fridge as we had our groceries delivered on the first day for the week and it was getting a bit full. We really enjoyed our stay and visited loads of places nearby. Very comfortable accommodation.

Some issues for disabled, lots of lights not working.

Avocet view was a very nice property close to all amenities it was clean and well decorated. The only problem we had was that the kitchen door didn't open fully to allow my husband access with his walking frame and a step from the kitchen to the living room was also difficult. Both the outside lights did not work and 2 lights in the hall also didn't work.

Great house in a fab location...pictures don't do it justice!

We were pleasantly surprised with the bungalow as it doesn't look like much from the front and the photo's really don't do it justice! The rooms are very bright and spacious and the location is fantastic. The parking space is handy as long as the people in the neighbouring property park correctly! We had a fantastic stay in this house, it's definitely the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed in, we only discovered the drawer full of DVD's and the box of kids books on our last night! We also rented a beach hut for the week which made the holiday truly fantastic to have a base at the beach and in town. If I'm being picky I would say they need to get some thicker curtains or black-out blinds as the light came in very early...and it wasn't ideal for our toddler who goes to bed early as the room was not dark at all. The towels are very small and thin quality so perhaps bring your own...the house was lovely and cool in July but I would worry about being cold in the winter. But for the money it was absolutely brilliant and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!

Enjoyable stay at Avocet View

We enjoyed our stay at Avocet View very much. The property is well equipped and very comfortable. The location is ideal: it's just a few yards to the harbour front with it's shops and restaurants - and a great view. Both Wells and Holkham beaches are very close. The patio garden would normally be sufficient, given the location and the view. However, we brought our dog along, and as there is no grass we had to take him for a lot of short walks to allow him to answer the call of nature.

Stay at Avocet View

We enjoyed staying in the bungalow but when the weather changed to be cold and wet, the house got very cold and we couldn't turn on the boiler ! The towels didn't dry when we could not put them out on the patio. Neither could we understand the instructions for the DVD player. The beds were comfortable but we would have liked the upright chairs to have been in the sitting room. The parking was a bit of a hazard particularly when there were two cars belonging to the neighbours, but we managed! The kitchen was well equipped.

Great position

Lovely, convenient cottage for families and older folk alike. There were just two of us, (older generation) and it was lovely. It appeared very child friendly, with toys, high chairs and booster seats etc tucked away in a super hall cupboard. Loved the views out of the lounge window and watching rabbits and birds early morning and families enjoying the recreation areas later in the day. We did not cook at all (bliss) but ate out during at the numerous cafe and restaurants around. What a super dog friendly place Wells is.

Mothers weekend

general comment

very clean,comfortable and well-appointed property where every amenity is provided.... excellent on that score to improve the property the kitchen light switch should be reversed or doubled to both walls so folk dont have to cross a dark kitchen which would make falling over the offending step much less likely and a cupboard behind the kitchen door changed so that the door will fully open.As it is it is difficult for the elderly
