Denna "lilla hem" är en pittoresk, rustik stuga där du är säker på att känna dig välkommen. Krypteras från stadens liv och rörelse ger Chicken House-atmosfären besökare ett element av långsamt landliv ". Det finns en AppleTV i kycklinghuset men ingen kabel. Men det finns DishTV i nästa dörr Taylor Inn som besökare på Chicken House är välkomna att använda. Men ägarna rekommenderar starkt att titta på "Kyckling TV" istället ... vet också som utfodringstid ... varje eftermiddag på gården.

The Chicken House ligger på grund av Taylor Inn, en fem rum Inn som nyligen restaurerats och öppnades igen. Rollerna i detta hus har förändrats under det senaste århundradet eller så, men har inte avskräckt från att välkomna både besökare och lokalbefolkningen med en nivå av gästfrihet som inte kan uppnås utan en sann önskan att visa upp en kärlek till det här samhället. So peaceful

The Chicken House was so amazing! Very clean and comfortable. Paige, the host was the best. There was a tornado in the area while we were there and she made sure we knew the safe place. We so enjoyed watching the chickens. Swinging on the front porch was very relaxing and just what we needed! Just loved this place and we will be back. Thanks

Awesome country style get away

We loved this place in the Heart or Taylor Mississippi. Just a few minutes from Oxford and right across the street from Taylor Grocery (Best catfish in Mississippi). We stayed 5 days (4 nights), and took full advantage of the relaxing atmosphere and cool country antique aesthetics. We had coffee each morning on the front porch with the chickens, and a glass of wine every evening on the back patio. There's even a fire pit on the back lawn area, and firewood is provided. Plenty of room for our daughter and her friends to come by and hang out. Also very close to the Wonderbird Gin Distillery, Lost Dog coffee shop, Grit Restaurant and Offbeat in General/Blind Pig Deli (best place for deli sandwiches). So happy we to have discovered this cool place.

Unique cottage

Unique, cute spot located right outside of Oxford. We really enjoyed our stay! Appreciated firewood left for us to have a fire. Lots of character with easy check in/out.

A slower pace of life

We rented the chickenhouse with the Taylor Inn to accommodate all of our family. It is just a few steps away from the Inn. The decorations are perfect. The host is awesome. We enjoyed our weekend in Taylor celebrating the marriage of our cousin. The cottage is unique, the kids loved the loft area!

The Chicken House Rules

This is my second time to stay in the Chicken House and I loved it equally as much! The first time I came with girlfriends to go to double Dekker art festival this time I came with my family to go to my nieces wedding. I love everything about it! From the decor, right down to the chickens!

Wonderful stay at the chicken coop

Paige was a great host and very detailed in her information prior to our arrival. The house was splendid and the town of Taylor has a great coffee shop and some great restaurants. What a gem of a place and less than 15 minutes to Oxford. Really beautiful and relaxing weekend!

Quick getaway

This was a perfect weekend getaway spot. The home was rustic and clean. The chickens nearby were fun to watch from the porch. There are also two very good restaurants within walking distance.

Chicken Paradise

We love everything about The chicken house. I can’t rate it any higher than a five. We named the rooster Henry and it’s seems chickens are in our future Ideal location to be across from Taylor Grocery and just down street from Plein Aire Just enough distance from craziness of Oxford on a busy weekend. Loved the I erior furnishings.

Perfect weekend getaway!

This was our second time to stay at this property and we were just as happy with it as our first stay. You feel like you are staying at a cabin in the woods. It is the perfect place to unwind and relax and disconnect!

Charming place close to Oxford and Water Valley

We loved our stay here, and the hosts made sure we had everything we needed. You’ll love sitting on the porch swing or having meals at the large outdoor table. Also, make sure to enjoy walking to Lost Dog Coffee, Grit (upscale dining), and Taylor Grocery (for a true Mississippi fried catfish experience. We will definitely be back.

Great weekend getaway!

Oxford Hideaway

Absolutely loved our stay , the coup was rustic on the outiside but small , quaint and well out together inside . It was enough space for my two children and wife and small pug , only a10 minute drive from Ole Miss and about an hour from Memphis . We will be back !

Close enough to Ole Miss in Oxford to move our daughter back, and enjoy the drive back to the peace of the Chicken House. Paige is wonderful, and always available of you need anything. Always a pure joy

Our stay was - once again - absolutely incredible. A lovely cabin where we all relaxed. This time, we took time to eat across the street at Taylor Grocery! It was the perfect evening. Chicken Shack at Taylor Inn: A Great Getaway

I stayed here to attend my son's wedding event at Plein Air, just around the corner. The cottage was perfect for that occasion. I will be coming back when I don't have a schedule of activities to attend, so I can enjoy a lost weekend. Something therapeutic about the place--especially the chickens.

Relaxing and fun experience

This get away was exactly what we all needed!!!! We found the cabin to be charming. Close enough to Oxford to get to all activities easily, but far enough out of town to enjoy some rest and relaxation. The cabin is full of charm which is easily matched by the Page as she goes the extra mile to assure you are comfortable.
