Great place for families

We had a great time, house was as described, 2 rooms with double bed, 1 room with 2 bunks and single, plenty of space living/dining area, 10min walk to the beach, 5min drive to Innes national park, great communication with owner, good selection of kitchen items, DVD's and games, quiet residential area, great for kids to bike around. Would stay there again.

Quiet getaway

Lovely home on the Yorke Peninsula for a quiet and relaxing few days, easy drive from Adelaide. When the weather is good, this is a hidden gem in South Australia, with beautiful scenery in the national park. Great place for us to stay for a few days, and Kim communicated before and during our stay to help us feel at home.

Excellent Stay @ Marion Bay!

Really nice getaway over a long weekend. Communication was great, photos online could do with an update only so you get a better picture of the place (we thought it was better than what is currently up there). We loved the deck area, kitchen and living area was great with the doors open and nice weather. Sunsets were stunning off the deck too.

Great location near National Park

A nice tidy place to stay, in a quiet corner of the small town. Ample kitchen facilities and large lounge/dining area to relax in, with three separate rooms - for us one couple, joined later by a second couple, it was ideal. All we needed to relax and not worry about anything! No kids with us, but if you have kids there is a room just for them with bunks all set to go. We spent some time exploring the Innes national park and lower peninsula, and this was an ideal base for that, plus close to beaches (within walking distance), fuel, general store, and a great tavern with excellent meals. Would love to come to Marion Bay again, and would happily choose this home as our base for another stay. Check in and out was easy, and owner communicated well before and checked to make sure all was well when we arrived. Thanks for having us :)

Relaxing weekend exploring Innes NP

Family shack that was very comfortable. Good spot. Thought a little pricey considering we had to provide all linen, towels etc. Good place for family and friends

Great spot to explore Innes National Park

We enjoyed the shack with plenty of space for the 4 of us ! Wonderful shower after exploring the nearby beaches but be mindful as the property runs on rain water tanks only. Plenty of tools in the kitchen and a bbq to cook up a meal. No milk for a few days at the general store , recommend you take enough supplies !!

Exactly what we needed!

The shack was very clean and tidy, supplying all the necessities needed for a short or long stay. Bedding was comfortable for adults and kids. Kitchen had a good selection of pots and pans, also other electrical items like two coffee machines and an electric fryer (not normally seen at other accomo). Kim was very helpful and even connected us with a local to solve a car/boat trailer problem we had which allowed us to go fishing that day! Highly recommended for comfortable, clean, easy stay on a budget.

A touch of zen

The property accommodated our requirements beautifully. Spacious living area meant everyone had room and managed visitors too! Host was great.....checked in with us after arrival and then left us to it. Great holiday!

Absolutely perfect

We stayed here with our children a couple of weeks ago and had a most enjoyable stay. It is the absolute perfect location for exploring Innes National Park, and of course Marion Bay and surrounds. Everything was clean and tidy. All 3 bedrooms were well sized and the open plan living, dining, kitchen area was spacious, clean, well appointed. The host was responsive to a couple of messages we sent, and friendly throughout. We will definitely stay again when we next visit the area, and would highly recommend to others.
