Sunny family accommodation

Lovely well equipped home. Warm and spacious for our family of 5 adults. Sunny in the afternoons. Great view from the lounge and hot tub. Easy Ski in and Ski out. Great access to Orient and Morrisey Chairs. 20mins walk to the village on the village trails.

Delightful stay.

Great location. Excellent view. Phenomenal customer service from owner and property management company. A bit dated, but we would definitely return if some minor details improve.

Good complex, unit so-so

We liked Stone’s Throw, location/parking were good. The unit, while clean, was in mild disrepair. The master bath pocket door would screech in its track, the internet was crazy slow, often less than 1 megabit, and there were several burnt out light bulbs. We raised the internet issue to the host and they were unhelpful. overall things worked ok but could have been better.

New fav spot!

We do annual trips to sun peaks and this was our first time trying this rental and it totally surpassed our expectations! The view from hot tub was spectacular and the unit had everything we needed. We love staying on that side of the hill and dont mind the walk to the village. The ski in/ski out can't be beat! We will definitely be back! Thanks again!

Great Ski weekend

Location and facilities were excellant. I am sure we will be returning. Parking spaces are a little narrow, if you have 2 vehicles.

Great location!

We stayed for 4 nights with 4 adults and 4 kids. Plenty of room and great ski in/ski out location to Orient Express or Morrisey chairs. Trail across the street takes you to town, it is about a 14-minute walk. Sledding hill is across the street. The garage parking spots are pretty tight. We have a big truck and it fit, but barely, luckily there was no need for a vehicle while we were there.

Stones Throw of everything

Stones Throw apartments are a group of apartments that overlook Mt Morrisey, they are ski in ski out with the Mt Morrisey chairlift ready to take you over to Mt Morrisey and the Orient Chair to take you up Mt Tod. Stones Throw is about a 10 minute walk into the village. The accomadation is set up for families, cooking facilites and plenty of plates, bowls, glasses, pot, pans. Washing facilities and a hot tub. This is the second time we have stayed here and have while the owners have changed they are still very easy to communicate with.

Fabulous ski apartment

Great 3 bedroom apartment, excellent hot tub with beautiful views of the slopes, and love that it is ski in, ski out - just turn left out the front door and ski down to Orient or Morrissey lifts. Apartment had everything needed including a well-stocked pantry.

Sun Peaks ski trip

Absolutely magical view from the hot tub and having the extra condiments and supplies in the kitchen was so appreciated? The beds and bedding were very comfortable as well. We also enjoy the fireplace it added to the cozy atmosphere There is a great way to load and unload your supplies just 100 yards from the door before you park in the garage.

Good ski in ski out

Been to Sun Peaks several times. This was the best unit for ski in and out we have ever had at Sun Peaks. Great communication with owner and property manager. Beds comfortable. Unit tidy. Amazing windows and views. We shuttled in. Best drop off location is to come in the Settlers Crossing driveway by unit 71. Then it's a short sidewalk trek over to the unit vs stairs if you come in via Stone's Throw driveway. Would definitely stay here again.

Sun Peaks Getaway

Great unit and great parking. If you want to go to the village, it is a bit of a walk to the village, it's better to drive. Nice view from the hot-tub on the balcony. It was really cold, -30 C while we staying here, so it was laboring to stay hot! The entrance way is a little small, for changing ski boots, but manageable. Kitchen is fantastic, living room with fireplace, and very high ceilings, wonderful. It is beside the Orient chair lift, so ski to the village is possible. Snow was sticky with the cold temperature, so need to have good wax and tuck! Overall, excellent property.

Very nice stay at Stone’s Throw!

We were at Sun Peaks for the last ski week of the season. Everything was very quiet so not sure how the area is when it’s busy. The unit is in a great ski in/out location with easy access to two of the lifts. The condo is well laid out, kitchen is well equipped, has daily hot tub service. It was well cleaned. A few upgrades are needed just to keep up with useage. Many stairs to bring luggages up from garage to front door and upstairs. We would definitely return and recommend to friends!

Outstanding Location

Ski-in / Ski-out is a priority for our family of 5 snowboarders and this unit delivers, as it is above both Orient & Morrissey and just steps away from groomed access. 4 person Hot tub had nice views and was maintained daily. Clothes Washer wasnt operational at time of our visit, and had we known, we would have packed a bit differntly. No Nespresso nor Kuerig in kitchen, so we brought our own. Only closets, no dressers in bedrooms, so lots of clothes on floor all week long. Underground parking for 2 vehicles was convenient and at 7feet 6in clearance, accomodated our vehicle with Thule box on roof. We Love SPV, is our 3rd visit, and 54 Stones throw is great option for 5, a bit tight for any more.

Excellent family accommodations

Large property with plenty of room for 4 adults 2 small children and an infant with all the associated gear and toys. Comfortably furnished with easy ski in and out to either Orient or Morrissey chairlifts.
