Our favourite house to stay and play in Hideaway Bay to date!

We've been visiting Hideaway bay for the last decade. This house has been our favourite so far. From easy access to the beach and stunning views this place has it all. The beds were very comfortable, kitchen stocked well with appliances and utensils. A lovely crystal clear pool to enjoy when the beach gets too hot. Everything what we needed for our trip. We can't believe we've never found it before. Will definitely be returning next year if we can get the dates we need. Hosts really have thought of everything. Highly recommend this beautiful property for a short or longer getaway to paradise.

This was an absolutely amazing place to stay in. The house, view, pool, neighbours and area were very amazing. Will be coming again but this time without the kids. Just so i can relax. It's the place to relax and reset the batteries.

To die for views

Amazing! Did not want to leave! Everything was perfect. The house, the views, the area & region, the fishing. We had the utmost perfect family holiday (with adult kids & pooch) to celebrate a 50th birthday. Such a beautiful spot. We’ll be back to visit. Thank you to Louise for the opportunity to stay here & to Jules & PJ for being wonderful caretakers. The flowers on arrival were also a gorgeous touch.

Lorikeet Lodge- Won’t Disappoint!

Beautiful property with Panoramic Views. Quiet and tastefully decorated. All you need and more. The view is a WOW every single time. Pool is lovely and Pet provisions, Eg well fenced area is an added, & valuable bonus for those with Dogs. A drive to Airlie, but worth it if you want Peace, a view, your Pet and a lovely property. Wonderful getaway

Fantastic location with a panoramic view of the bay. Great to have own pool, with the beach only a small walk away. Loved exploring the nearby islands in our boat. Great kitchen with all we needed for our stay. Fantastic neighbours and community, with our fur baby "hugh" having the time of his life. Hope to be back again soon!

Spectacular views, very spacious home. Caretakers exceptional

Unfortunately we had week of torrential rain but fortunately we were very comfortable staying at Lorikeet. Louise made contact to ensure we were OK, and the caretakers Jules and PJ were incredible, offering extra dry towels, any food items we may have needed as the roads were closed. We would love to come again when the weather is fine so we can really enjoy Hydeaway Bay and the spectacular views from Lorikeet.

A beautiful home with an amazing view

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The home has the most amazing view over the water and Whitsundays from the front deck. The property had everything you needed and is conveniently located in the beautiful quiet town of Hideaway bay. The kids loved the pool. The property was also well set up with fully fenced yard for the dogs. The caretakers were very helpful with making sure everything was in order and providing local advice. We can’t wait to come back and stay in this beautiful home again.

Beautiful

Fantastic property with amazing views and close to a number of very nice quiet beaches. The house is fully stocked with everything you may need and very clean. Would definitely stay again. Since it is away from the hustle and bustle just make sure you grab all the groceries and beer before you arrive from town.

School Holiday Escape.

We stayed for 2 weeks over the September school holidays. The weather was perfect and the location is great for a quiet getaway with the family. We didn't meet the caretakers, although they did come and do things at the property unannounced a number of times while we were out for the day, which we thought was a little strange & discourteous. It's a lovely comfortable house with a well stocked kitchen and amazing views.

Paradise

Our stay at Lorikeet Lodge was sheer bliss. The home provided us with a 180 degrees majestic vista of picture perfect blue sea and also the islands dotted around the Whitsundays. When tired of the view you can swim in the fabulous pool. Louise was a fabulous host and it was comforting to have Jules (caretaker) nearby. This home is a must when in the area. Five stars ⭐️ all the way.

A Relaxing Timeout

This is our second time staying in Louise's beautiful property. We are so appreciative that she allows pets as we were able to holiday with our much loved dogs. Our days were spent on the front verandah overlooking the stunning Hideaway Bay or in the private pool in the backyard or down at the beach. The addition of air conditioning in the bedrooms makes for a comfortable sleep and the house is well equiped. The booking process is easy and communication is prompt and we would recommend this property to everyone.
