The Sunshine Cottage is Part of the Viking Hill Property with additional Features like Social Area, Pool, and Pool Deck large living room and other activities. You can meet new people and still have your private accommodation with a private bedroom, private bathroom and small kitchenette with sitting. In case you need other services and plan tours and trips around Nassau (Fishing, Snorkeling etc.) you are more than welcome to ask us.

We enjoyed our stay!!!! Beaches close by and some nice restaurants! All hosts were extremely helpful and kind!

The pictures must have been taken a long time ago, or photo shopped. The place is run down, the room had an awful order and the pool was not maintained. We left and got a room at a hotel. Definitely do not recommend!👎

So this is a very budget minded place, there are dorm rooms available so it’s more like a hostel than what I would consider a VRBO. Hot water availability was not consistent, and by hot water they mean it’s warmer than the cold, it was lukewarm at best or just plain cold. Checking in after 4 pm is a bit of an adventure since there is no staff on site, if you have what’s app on your phone it will be easier and the other units besides the dorm rooms are not named or numbered so finding out which one you’re in requires the staff to tell you, so be prepared to have 30 minutes to figure this out, hopefully one of the other guests will help you, but communicating with the property manager via what’s app seems to be the most consistent way to get your information. Property condition is a little run down, our air conditioner stopped working halfway through our stay, the laminate flooring was chipped and peeling up in places, some outlets and lights did not work so test them before plugging in devices. Overall the place gets a 6.5/10, pretty much where it falls in the budget of the Bahamas.

The staff was nice; however, the property is dated and it was not close to downtown and the Atlantis. Which is where everything is. If you are looking to just relax on the beach with no exclusions yes. If not, get ready to pay big money for a taxi.

Great Time!

It was exactly what we needed for the tail end of our honeymoon stay. Not much around the property, so you have to take a bus or taxi everywhere. There's one restaurant you can walk to, so we went there often. Overall great place to stay in!

Property was very nice, the room had a nice view of the ocean, very close to the beach in a quite neighborhood! Cornelia is a terrific host, helped us in everything we need it, answer all our questions helped us to get around. Will come back again soon !!
