Extended Family Retreat

Had an amazing time celebrating my Dad's 70th Birthday. Was super spacoius for the 12 of us, all adults. Was easy and quick communication with the host. Directions were spot on. Lots of space inside and out. The smoker was a nice extra. We all enjoyed hanging out with the goose on the dock.Thanks for all you did to make our long weekend so much fun.

Cozy Cabin Getaway

We are a group of knitters aged 50-80 and this lovely cabin had everything we could want for our winter retreat. Comfy, cozy beds & washrooms on every floor, beautiful lake views even on a snowy, cold weekend and a huge well stocked kitchen. The host was able to provide us extra tables & chairs so we could comfortable craft, visit and play cards as a group of 14.

Family gathering place for the holidays

We got 3 families (4 kids) together here for Christmas week. It had tons of room for everyone to be comfortable, spaces for kids to play, a very well stocked kitchen and the sauna was very nice to have on a winter visit. We enjoyed gathering around the wood burning fireplace and preparing large meals in the kitchen. Outdoor fire pit was also a nice touch and being able to easily walk out to the lake too. We had a great time here.

Made it work but disappointing

The house was clean For the most part other than the windows, oven , pots , etc in cupboards and the pair of dirty underwear under the bed . The house does not sleep what it says it does , mattresses on floor , 2 in living room area no window coverings. Not enough bedding for the mattresses provided . There is a couch and chair in the living room NO room in the house for everyone to gather . Table seats 8 max . There is sooo much stuff everywhere impossible to make the area tidy and non cluttered . Sauna continuously blew breaker . There is only an apartment size fridge in the kitchen and an antique extremely loud no one can sleep if plugged in fridge down stairs . An app for u to scan and they want to charge for EVERYTHING ~ never have we rented and this has been a thing. Yard is great Lake was beautiful to look at , smelly , but should be advertised that it is full Of algae and weeds at the dock . The maintenance manager / cleaners very friendly , great communication and service stay on next property with a loud generator running many hours a day The garage is the only place everyone can gather , very cluttered , windows can not open , the garage doors are foamed shut , 2 fridges but only one works, again the app trying to charge for EVERYTHING. This home would be great for max 8 people with no ADHD or tidy requirements type tendencies due to the clutter everywhere . Should be added to advertisement it’s on gravel road Nate - maintenance manager was great .

Wonderful family retreat

Spent a wonderful weekend with our children and their families. The backyard was a wonderful backdrop to a family portrait session. While the lake was green and weedy, we made good use of the paddle boards and kayaks (extra charge). The house was very spacious and very well equipped. Jill covered all the bases and was a wonderful host. The kitchen is completely stocked with almost anything you might need in the way of equipment and dishes. Not sure how hot the house would be in the middle of summer, but we had no problems since everything cooled off nicely in the evening. Lots of things to do (fire pit, games, books, sauna, basketball court, playground equipment, sandbox). Only drawbacks for some might be the numerous trains honking multiple times each night, access to the venue is via several miles of gravel roads, and extra charges for most of the things in the garage. For us, it was the perfect location for a fantastic weekend!

Lovely relaxing stay!

Little Beaver Lake Lodge has lots of character, and was a great getaway for a family vacation with 10 adults and 4 kids. The house was spotless, the beds were comfy, and there was so much to do and explore! We enjoyed having campfires at night, paddling on the water, and playing cornhole and games in the yard. Jill was great to communicate with and made sure our visit was wonderful!

Great place for a group of 8

The property is older looking that the photos show, but is still decent. Event though it can sleep 17 we found our group of 9 was just perfect. You can't fit more than that around the dining room table. Some mattresses could use an upgrade (bunk room) but otherwise comfy beds and LOTS of games, activities available for your use. The lake is not suitable for swimming but you can kayak etc. Very large kitchen with everything you need. Be sure to take everything you need such as foil, plastic wrap etc.

Quaint

The house and property were peaceful. Nice to hear the trains across the lake once in a while. The property had a lot of room for entertaining the kids and we all enjoyed our stay. It is enjoyable for a family setting.

Spacious and bright and well equipped

2 kids, 2 parents, 2 grandparents and everyone was content, comfortable, relaxed and happy. So well equipped with kitchen items, books, craft supplies!, lots of gathering space both inside and out. Very comfortable beds, lots of light and fans.

Location and cabin epic 👍

Huge cabin with multiple bedrooms , living space and well stocked kitchen . Many trees around , spacious play area for kids , outdoor eating , walking path to lake dock . We loved our stay and hope to get back again with our family of 12 . Great communication with owners .

Loved the stay

It was a beautiful location and home. Was a bit surprised by all the items that were being charged for but we had our own food etc and so did not need to purchase things like coffee etc. it definiltey felt like being a home away from home. Thank you!

Perfect stay in a wonderful quirky home!

We had an outstanding experience at this vacation home! The property was pristine and exceeded our expectations, with gorgeous views and so many amenities. Very special property, many unique touches inside and out. Lots of interior space, many beds, beautiful outdoor grounds. Very quiet, lots of birds and the water was very relaxing. Great for a large group.

Oh where to even start! Firstly, the pictures don’t even begin to give you a true feeling of how relaxing this property is. Before our trip, Jill was so quick to answer all of my questions, and once we arrived she was extremely responsive with anything more we needed. I’ve stayed in my share of temporary rentals and this one by far exceeded them all. I’ve never felt more at home. We travelled with our toddler and newborn and it was very kid friendly. Lots of ‘new’ toys to keep our toddler entertained and not too much for her to get into. The kitchen is stocked with nearly anything you could possibly need and there’s no shortage of things to keep you busy all day long!

Amazing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Looking forward to staying there again in the future. Only thing I'd change is that the fridge is a bit small and could have been cooler, however, it was cold enough outside for us to keep some of our things out there

Happy stay for three generations

There is no shortage of things to do at this cabin. The kids (aged 4-9) thoroughly enjoyed all the games, toys and fun places to hide and play. The grandparents got plenty of rest and we enjoyed yourselves, too. Beautiful stargazing and we watched the sunrises from our bed. Very comfortable and eclectic place - with placed to lounge on each level.

Magical Christmas Getaway!

My family and I had a fabulous stay at the lakeside retreat! It has everything you could possibly imagine and more. Nature, lake views, peace and quiet and major cozy vibes. We had the fire place going all Christmas long. Jill was a pleasure to communicate with and fully understands the needs of her guests. Especially the little ones.
