Have a wonderful Bracebridge family getaway!! This beautiful panabode style cottage on pristine Leech lake is located on a one acre treed Muskoka lot. Guests will enjoy the beautiful outdoor space on the long dock, canoe, small sandy shallow-entry beach, sandy sports court, paddle board, firepit, sauna and other amenities. Main floor of cottage has 3 bedroom with sleeping for 8 then additional sleeping space in loft is fit for kids (low height & mattresses on the floor) and we are told is the “coolest space ever”.

Amazing cottage

I would highly recommend this cottage. The owners were great to deal with and the property was exactly as described. We brought 4 teens and a 9 year old , so we were a bit nervous . All 7 of us give it a thumbs up.

Short & sweet

My partner & I stayed with some old friends and all of our kids for just a couple of nights. It was better than the pictures… a classic cozy cottage, a bit old school with just enough modern amenities. The wood stove was great, cozy living room, really enjoyed the large harvest style table for meals & playing games. Had an outdoor fire, and some lovely jaunts to the outdoor sauna ! The beds were comfortable. In terms of sleeping quarters, the rooms have minimal separation (ie, our girls slept right above our head in the loft, which is open to the king bedroom) so I recommend staying with good friends/family. Thoroughly enjoyed our time, would love to revisit in the summer, as the lake is right there, and such beautiful surroundings.

Wonderful cottage on absolutely beautiful Leach lake. Our family reconnected and disconnected. Responsive and wonderful hosts Would recommend.

This cottage is owned by 2 families. Nicolee & Kyler have 2 sons and Gabe & Denise have 3 daughters. Both families live in a little community in the north end of Whitby, ON called Brooklin. They have been friends for quite a few years since both families moved there.

Nicolee & Denise have been working together since 2016 as Mortgage Brokers. They have helped so many people buy their dream cottages & when they saw this place they found a way to buy it to be their very own. It’s a standard joke they spend more time together than they do with their husbands! Kyler did ask if this cottage was part of a master plan to run away together…. But it isn’t. It is a place to be as families, enjoy with friends & hopefully that others (like you) will enjoy too.

Fun fact, Gabe is from North Bay and this cottage is actually exactly half way to his mom’s house! Gabe & Denise have been “meeting halfway” in Bracebridge for years…. Their favourite place to meetup with their family is the Fine Thymes bakery…. The brie croissants with homemade cranberry jam & the Muskoka muffins (blueberry & cranberry) and French onion soup are the best things to eat there but everything is amazing!

Both families actually love camping as their summer hobby. In 2020 they had this crazy idea to buy tiny boler trailers during covid and camp all over Ontario with their families. In 2021 they went from Whitby all the way to Thunder Bay. In 2022, they will be going from Whitby out to Tadoussac and up to lac st jean in Quebec. This is why the cottage is available for rent…. Because they actually do love camping and exploring which leaves the cottage free for others to enjoy for many of the weeks during the summer.

When shopping for cottages they wanted to be in Muskoka & ideally Bracebridge because they love this town... the loons on the lake made it sound like a tragically hip song & they just knew it was "the one". The lake is large and clear and warm for swimming. It is also full of fish which is very fun for the fishers of the family.
