Om boendet

Beläget i en lantlig miljö berg, bara 10 minuters bilresa väster om Nelson, BC. Detta är en perfekt bas för att utforska området - en kort bilresa till Kootenay Lake och bara 30 minuters bilresa till Whitewater Ski Resort, 45 minuters bilresa till Red Mountain Ski Resort och. Njut av vacker utsikt över bergen, från denna privata hänförd svit. Efter en dag med sightseeing eller skidåkning, koppla av i det gemensamma området barrel. Sviten har en mysig ved spis och fullt utrustat kök. Vi är barnvänlig och hundar är välkomna!

Njut av en vistelse i vår stora 950q ft, ett sovrum, en nivå bottenvåningen svit. Sviten har nyligen renoverats, komplett med ljudisolering. Sviten har egen ingång med knappsats tillgång. Det ligger på bottenvåningen i vår familj hem. Hemmet ligger på en vacker 1. 3 tunnland stor, omgiven av träd och med vacker utsikt över bergen.

Hemmet är åtkomst till en asfalterad uppfart och det finns gott om parkering framför hemmet. Gästerna kommer åt sviten med en kort promenad ner genom gården.

Sovrummet har en dubbelsäng med en mysig täcke. Det finns en stor garderob och byrå i sovrummet. Utsikten från sovrummet är av bergen och skogen.

Det finns en öppen planlösning, matsal och kök. Bekvämt kök är utrustat med kyl / frys, vanlig ugn, mikrovågsugn, brödrost, kastruller, kokkärl, tallrikar, matlagning och köksredskap, Keurig kaffebryggare, gratis kaffe / te.

Vardagsrummet har en överdimensionerad läder sectional och kabel-TV / DVD.

Matsalen har plats för 4 personer.

Det finns brädspel och böcker för gäster att njuta av.

Det finns en komplett badrum med dusch över badkaret. Badrummet ligger bredvid sovrummet.

Badtunnan ligger på övre däck. Det delas med huvudbyggnaden och gäster är välkomna att använda den från 10:00 till 22:00.

Barn är mycket välkomna och en Pack n Play spjälsäng och leksaker finns tillgängliga. Barn är välkomna att använda utomhus lekplats med rutschkana och gungor.

Hundar är välkomna.

Två barnsängar (dubbelstora rulla sängar) finns tillgängliga.

Nice place to stay

Great short vacation stay

Marie's vacation suite is located just outside of Nelson and offered great winter access to skiing and shoeshoeing. My wife and I loved the fact we could bring our dogs along. The hottub on site was a great way to relax after a day outdoors. The suite was spacious and welcoming with a comfortable bed and a large sofa and tv were complimentary. The kitchen is small but there is a nice outdoor dining area and large BBQ that we made use of. Communication with Marie was easy and courteous and we would definitely stay here again!

Lovely quiet getaway

Our host was very nice. The suite was really clean and comfortable. Nice quiet neighbourhood perfect for walking the dog. The hot tub was a perfect temperature and very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.. We would definitely stay here again!

Weekend in Nelson

This house is approximately 15 mins outside of Nelson in a beautiful area. Hosts let us know ahead of time that google may error in the location - which it did! Easy communication solves that problem. Suite was perfect for us and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there.

Great suite, roomy and comfortable.

Marie is a great host. The suite is immaculate and equipped with all we needed. Lots of space inside for two of us. Spent most of our time on the nicely shaded porch area. Listening to the squirrels and the birds. Good neighbourhood down a quit driveway. Close to Nelson, Castlegar and the Slocan Rail Trail. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Serenity

If you are looking for a serene and "under the stars" getaway this is the place. The property is situated 15 km outside of Nelson high on the hillside. The view is wonderful and the private deck/yard gives you comfort to "kickback". The accommodations were very comfortable and on the rainy days it was nice to have the wide screen tv. There was no dishwasher or washer/dryer but that didn't matter once you gazed upon the view through the many windows. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the multitude of recreational activities the surrounding area had to offer.

Staying above the clouds

We had a peaceful, pleasant time in the spacious lower level of the home. It was well equipped with a very comfortable bed and plenty of windows to take in the ever changing view of the valley below. The host is friendly and responds quickly. We brought our dog and it’s a pet friendly place.

A beautiful stay

The property, while a little difficult to find, was just as it was listed. The fire pit was a nice edition. The provision of tea, coffee, and shower amenities was nice. Marie and Alain were very nice and welcoming. I would recommend a stay with them anytime.

Excellent property!

We loved our stay! Really nice location, well maintained property with nice spacious back yard, lots of parking and kids playground. Owners are very nice people, made us very comfortable, our kids played with their kids and that made our stay even more enjoyable - its great to have a company! Nice hot tub. Clean house, nice bedding. Kitchen has everything you need. We had a mouse noise at night and it was fixed immediately by owners, they seemed very responsible and attentive. Lots of wildlife around, you will definitely see elk, deer, we got lucky and saw a black bear up on the tree. Nelson is 20 mins drive. We enjoyed every minute and definitely will be back. Would definitely recommend this property!

Nice Nest Near Nelson

Very nice, comfortable and spacious apartment in a beautiful setting in a quiet, fairly upscale neighborhood a few minutes west of Nelson. Photos on website give an accurate idea of the accommodations. Climbed nearby Toad Mountain, which is beautiful and has great views, though you'll definitely want a high clearance 4WD vehicle for road access. Would definitely stay there again!
