Weekend in Oberon

The property was stunning, clean and spacious. The self guided walk around the property was a lovely addition. I wish we had more time to sit and relax on the deck or go truffle hunting. Next time!!!

Fabulous getaway

We booked in to attend a wedding close by. We had the warmest reception from Jill and Neil. They made us welcome, went the extra mile and made sure we had options to fill our time. I could not rate the place highly enough. Comfy beds and gorgeous views.

Perfection

We loved this property so much. Sweeping views of the hills, cosy fireplace with plenty of fire wood, plenty of space, lovely cottage garden and lawn, great location, friendly and kind hosts who were very responsive, and a very friendly sheep called Flossy! You can tell that a lot of effort has gone into creating a perfect stay and it has paid off. We’ll be back.

Relaxing stay in gorgeous cottage

We had a fantastic stay. The cottage was clean, modern and including every modcon we required. Hosts Jill & Neil were very friendly and replied promptly with our queries. We also enjoyed Jill's tour of the truffle farm and the operations. We will be back.

Great holiday at Oberon

Our holiday was just as "the Doc prescribed". Peaceful in a tranquil location, comfortable in a superb cottage. Our wonderful hosts were just in the background, easily accessible on phone as required, while ensuring we had all amenities available & privacy too. We could not have a chosen a more perfect holiday !! The roos and birds were a huge bonus.

Showing off our beautiful country

Took our Brazilian exchange student out bush to Oberon and Jenolan Caves to see how beautiful our country is first hand. Stayed here at Red Ground which was a delight sitting on the porch with the stunning views of the valley with kangaroos grazing while we watched spectacular sunsets. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need, very clean and comfortable. It’s an easy drive to town and the caves, and the hosts, Jill and Neil we very welcoming and accomodating. Highly recommended! We will definitely be back for the truffle season. Thanks Neil and Jill

My wife & I had a two day stay at the Truffle Farm and our host,Jill, could not have been more welcoming. The property was excellent and in a good location with plenty of wildlife around. A very relaxing stay. We will be back.

Lovely and comfortable

Lovely Property

The cabin was presented as listed and was superb for a long weekend getaway. We especially enjoyed the open fireplace and were pleasantly surprised at the abundance of firewood that was made available. Jill is a very welcoming host.
