Was a beautiful house abd property. Jerry and Anthony were very friendly and accommodating! The property was close to the Swartz Bay ferry and Sydney.

Beautiful Property

Exactly as we expected. Spacious, clean, convenient. We were very comfortable and we were able to host some family for a BBQ.

Great stay

We had a very nice stay in Saanich. The flat is very nice and large with a nice view onnthe garden and water. Very comfortable bed. The use of the bikes is a plus.

Nice home, very close to ferry and trails

Very friendly hosts. Unfortunately, this property is not being well maintained outdoors. That said the house was very comfortable and spacious. The house is extremely close to Highway 17. Be extremely careful leaving the driveway because you have to cross a busy bike path with very limited visibility.

Great location! Easy to get to the town of Sidney and other attractions . Very clean. Thoughtful host. Everything one needs to make meals and relax . We loved this place!

very relaxing place, short distance from center of Sidney

Much enjoyed our stay. Property is very relaxing - but still close to the shops in Sidney. Enjoyed watching the tide go in and out in the lagoon at the bottom of the garden. The hosts' father lived upstairs and was friendly during our stay. Rode bikes to the ferry terminal to explore the gulf islands - nice to be so close to the terminal. Hoping to return next summer.

Nice property for family

Stayed with husband and my parents, had a nice time. The place has everything we needed. There were lots of towels and it was clean. We enjoyed seeing an otter in the water out front and saw what we thought was a seal hunting hen the tide was in during the evening. There were games outside and a nice gazebo with cushioned seating too. The beds were ok to me, but that's very subjective and individual. The only minor complaint was that it smelled very strongly of curry throughout the main living quarters, but I know that's not something the owner can fix easily and I'm sure the previous guests had cooked a lot of pungent dishes inside. We became nose blind to it after a few hours but every time you enter after coming back you smell it really strong for a while. Again, not the owners fault.

Exactly as advertised and even better. Everything you could ask for and exceptionally clean. Great beds, pillows and bedding. 2 bathrooms which was great for 6 people, thank you for having us Anthony.

GnR 50th celebration

We had a wonderful experience staying at this home. The location was close to the ferry yet seemed remote and private. The host responded quickly to any issues or questions we had. We had some family over for an amazing family dinner and enjoyed using some of the water craft available. Highly recommend this home.

Fantastic house very near to the ferry terminal

The house was excellent. Really comfortable beds, lots of space, good WiFi, very well equipped kitchen with stores of basics we could use. Anthony was really helpful and showed us bikes we could borrow and 2 paddle boards for the estuary at the end of the garden. There were also lots of fun garden games left out for us. We used the BBQ and the fire pit on our patio and really enjoyed the amazing views of the garden and the water from the big kitchen. We would definitely go and stay there again, it was the best holiday rental we had in our three-week stay in Canada.

5 Day Bike Riders Haven

A great 5 days staying at a wonderful location. The unit was well equipped with anything you needed. The beds were quite comfortable. Bike trail is at end of the driveway. You can ride all the way into Victoria and beyond. Anthony, the host was always available if we had any questions. I mentioned about possibly driving to Nanaimo to get Nanaimo bars but we ran out of time. Anthony’s father, Gary ended up making Nanaimo bars for us and giving me the recipe! What a pleasant surprise! They both have this place dialed in nicely and I would not hesitate to book again!

Perfect week away

Very close to Victoria international airport. Beautifully decorated with inviting outdoors. Beds are very comfortable. Kitchen has everything one needs. Host is on property and available to answer any questions. We'd recommend this property very highly 10/10!
