Ideally positioned in the heart of old Torquay and only a short 350m walk to Fisherman’s Beach, you can also walk to main street shops and cafés in 750m. Ground floor kitchen and living flows onto a private north-facing alfresco with BBQ, while 3 bedrooms upstairs includes a King master with ensuite and private balcony. Quality inclusions include wifi, TV with streaming capability, and a well-behaved small dog is welcome by request, subject to house rules

The Space:
Your search for a centrally located seaside abode is over! Situated in the heart of old Torquay, this townhouse is impressive on arrival. Be greeted by ocean views from the driveway, with the promise of getting your feet in the sand in only 350m! When you holiday this close to the beach, you won’t even need the car.

A modern kitchen is equipped with quality appliances, stone benchtops, and a walk-in pantry. Well-equipped crockery, cutlery, glassware, and cookware are just some of the quality inclusions you can expect to find. Enjoy meals together at the 6-seater dining table, before retiring to the lounge to relax and unwind with a good book or curl up and watch movies (Apple TV device - streaming capabilities with your own account).

The open plan kitchen, meals and living area is the functional hub of the home, with split system heating-cooling for year-round climate comfort. The modern, coastal aesthetic and fresh white interiors are complemented by timber flooring and outside greenery. Oceanic artworks in the living room complement the fresh sea breeze when the bifold doors are opened to the alfresco entertaining area, perfect for BBQ’s and relaxing outdoors. A well-behaved small dog is welcome by request. Please ask us for the House Rules and expectations around pets and note there is no grass in the fenced rear yard (deck and gravel area).

The 2-storey layout offers 3 bedrooms upstairs to comfortably sleep 6 guests, and all are beautifully appointed with hotel quality sheets and bath towels (please BYO beach towels). Positioned for privacy at the front is the master bedroom, complete with King size bed, split system air conditioner, walk-in robe, ensuite, TV (free to air channels only), and a private front balcony. (Please note the high windows in master bedroom do not have blinds, so BYO eye mask if you’d like to sleep in beyond sunrise).

Two additional bedrooms on this level boast easterly glimpses of the sea and feature a Double bed (with split system air conditioner), and Twin Single beds. The family bathroom has a shower, bath and separate toilet, plus there is a 3rd toilet on the ground floor. The laundry has a washing machine and clothes dryer for your use.

The Neighborhood:
This townhouse is located in a safe and friendly neighbourhood. Ideal for both the adventurous and those who want to kick back and relax.

All within the immediate area: surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUPing (Stand Up Paddle), diving, bike riding, running paths, skateboarding and golf or sitting back and if relaxing is more your thing then chose from many of the beautiful surrounding beaches, parklands, cafes, bars, restaurants, spas, shops or designer boutiques to spend your time.

There are great cafes, bars, the Torquay Hotel and many restaurants within a few minutes’ walk on Bell St, plus boutiques, clothing, shoes, swimwear, books, homewares and much more.

Surf City Plaza is home to iconic surfing brands such as Quiksilver, Roxy and Rip Curl (all originated in Torquay). There are also many other iconic brands in the Plaza or across the road. Head around the corner to Baines Crescent and find a variety of factory outlets.

Industrial Estate- includes Aldi, Ocean grind and Maple Bakery, among other restaurants and warehouses for all your travel needs.

You will find everything you need for a fabulous holiday all within a short walk.

Torquay has a beautiful coastline for walking, swimming and surfing. Enjoy the glorious walks along the Esplanade and beach front, especially the walk to Jan Juc.

As well as Torquay’s famous surf beaches there are family-friendly beaches. During the summer season lifeguards patrol at various locations including Torquay Back Beach, Cosy Corner and Jan Juc Beach. Fisherman’s Beach is not patrolled but is a relatively safe beach with a wide shallow bar.

Getting Around:
Our beach house is within easy walking/riding distance to parks, beaches and shops. On-street parking is available, plus the driveway – please note you will not have access to the locked garage.

Buses to and from Torquay and Geelong (Number 50 or 51). 
Closest train station 15km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne. 

Torquay is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.

Amazing!

Sunny weather and so close to the beach. Couldn't have asked for more. The kids want to move there. So much space and great being able to bring the dog. He loved it too!

The property needs cleaning better outdoors need to be cleaned up and maintsined better. Outdoor furniture needs to be updated and tge lighting in meals room needs to be fixed. Tv stations dont work eithet. Perfect location
