Welcome to 'Wanaka Alpine Haven,' a beautifully appointed 2-bedroom retreat. With stunning mountain views and located just a 5-minute drive from Wanaka township and Lake Wanaka, this cosy home offers all the modern comforts, including unlimited WiFi, a smart TV and reverse cycle heat pumps/air con. Perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts, it’s close to bike trails, ski fields, and local attractions.

Welcome to 'Wanaka Alpine Haven,' your ideal getaway in the heart of the Southern Lakes region. This beautifully appointed 2-bedroom home offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, making it an excellent choice for families or small groups. The master bedroom features a cosy queen bed, heat pump and access to a jack & jill bathroom that can be shared or locked off from other users in essence creating a private ensuite. The second bedroom is equipped with three single bunk beds, making it perfect for kids, a heat pump plus a workstation desk.

The open plan living, dining, and kitchen area is designed for relaxation and socializing. Enjoy cooking in the well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven, cooktop, microwave, fridge/freezer, and Nespresso coffee machine. The dining area comfortably seats everyone, and the living space features a heat pump to keep you warm during the cooler months. The home also boasts unlimited WiFi and a smart TV for your entertainment needs.

The Jack & Jill bathroom provides convenience with a bath/shower and toilet. A separate laundry with a front-load washing machine adds to the practical amenities of this lovely home. Step outside onto the deck and take in the breathtaking mountain views. The partly fenced yard and off-street parking add to the property's charm and functionality.

PLEASE NOTE:
- The wood burner is ONLY available from 1 June – 30 September each year.
- This property is connected to another other property called 'Fabulous on Farrant' which is a separate studio which sleeps up to 2 pax. You may look up this property on this channel to get more information. If your group requires more space, please enquire with us as we can provide a rate for both properties if booked at the same time.

You will have access to the whole home - EXCLUDING the studio

We are available to answer any questions via our Guest Portal DUVE. We leave guests alone during their stay but are on hand if required. I live locally and I''m only a stones throw away. If there is something that requires attention during your stay, we will be able to attend within approximately 30 minutes.

Wanaka is a picturesque town nestled at the southern end of its namesake lake, offering a serene and rejuvenating escape. The property is just a 5-minute drive from the town center and Lake Wanaka, providing easy access to shops, restaurants, and a variety of recreational activities.

The area is also a gateway to Mount Aspiring National Park, where you can enjoy hiking, fishing, and scenic walks. In winter, the nearby ski fields of Cardrona, Treble Cone, and the Snow Farm offer excellent skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Wanaka's unique attractions, such as Puzzling World and the local movie theaters, provide fun for the whole family. With its close proximity to airports and the stunning Crown Range, 'Wanaka Alpine Haven' is perfectly situated for both adventure and relaxation.

Once your booking is confirmed, you will be directed to our guest portal DUVE. Prior to check-in, you will be required to complete an identity check by scanning your drivers licence/passport and credit card before being provided with your arrival instructions. This provides security for the owners of the property so they are comfortable that you are who you say you are and you have the documents to prove it (similar to a hotel check-in procedure). We do not charge your card, nor does it get stored by our system, you are welcome to block out all, except the last 4 digits on the card, but please note that our Guest Portal DUVE has the highest level of PCI compliance available. This process is necessary due to the fact that we have a self-check-in system.
By booking with us you agree to the terms and conditions outlined in our Rental Policy and agree to follow our HOUSE RULES:
- No pets
- No smoking/vaping anywhere inside the property
- Close all doors/windows and lock if needed & lock the front entry door upon departure
_ Turn of all heating, electric blankets, heaters, heat pumps, oven/cooktop and securely close the wood burner door
- Report any breakages or damage
- Return key to lockbox upon departure
- Check-out by your agreed time: 10am
- Respect our neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum after 10pm
- No extra guests over the allotted amount booked for nor exceeding 5 persons
- No campervans, motorhomes, caravans, tents
- Follow our STRICT NO PARTY POLICY.

Quiet comfort

Fantastic modern property, very warm and quiet. The instructions to not permit sports equipment inside and also have the garage locked off as a potential alternative for sports equipment storage was less than ideal. Off street park on the driveway was handy to the front door. Property manager was great to deal with and the instructions were very clear and well thought out. Overall a very enjoyable and comfortable stay.
