This home is exactly as advertised. Unfortunately we did not get to stay for our long weekend as the heating unit broke and we were in a snow storm. However the owners were on top of things and had someone there right away and when they couldnt fix it they moved us to another cabinlocation.

This was a wonderful stay! Despite some inclimate weather, David and Becky went above and beyond to make this an incredible trip. Thanks again!

My family of four (along with our 2 pups), stayed at this amazing cabin. I have been traveling to NH for 10+ years and this is by far one of the best (if not best) locations I have ever stayed at. If you are looking for a true escape, immersed in nature, look no further! This cozy cabin is completely private and on a beautiful river. The pups (and kids) loved the beautiful path right outside the house for walks. We loved it so much, we booked it for the summer to enjoy the river. Thank you to the amazing hosts for a wonderful stay and excellent communication!

This was the perfect place to stay while showing my family around the White Mountains! The place was comfortable and had all the necessities we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and in a great location along the Kancamagus for getting to hikes or heading into town if we needed anything. Marianne was a fabulous host as well! I would happily stay here again.

Mike and Nikki were great hosts and were quick to respond to any questions we had. The property was exactly what we were looking for, it was private and located close to great swimming holes, restaurants, etc. We certainly plan on returning.

We spent our 2020 Christmas week up at Thistle rock since we were unable to be with family due to covid. It has such a special place in our hearts after that week. Just perfection. George was amazing with all his recommendations for our adventures right out the door for our family. Sledding, hiking, snowshoeing, cutting our own xmas tree in the woods and decorating it, and just enjoying the tranquility of this incredible house and location. So close to everything but yet you felt so separated from the world. We can’t wait to come back to thistle rock again!!
